Ive tried eating here several times, and after numerous tries, the Asian King Buffet is an absolute NO for me. The containers the food comes in are great, and the Asian King Buffet gives you ample food... too bad you wont be able to stomach much of it. The chicken pad thai was gross, barely had chicken, and it was overly greasy. It also had a lot of cilantro stems. Shortly after eating the pad thai, I became very ill. The orange chicken barely tasted of oranges, and it was more batter than chicken. Much of it was too hard to eat, and it was slathered in this sauce that only faintly tasted of orange. The fried dumplings were okay. My fiance loved them, but I wasnt impressed. The friend donuts were also okay. The best thing about the meal was the fortune cookies, and those are prepackaged. I would not recommend this restaurant, and I will not be returning.

I had an occasion that required that I be in Waxahachie for an extended time today, so after my alloted time for shopping, I still had an extra hour to while away... I spied this little Asian Gem neatly nestled away in a shopping center, and... what way could be better to spend an extra hour?? My intent was to sample a little from the fresh sushi-bar, and maybe a dessert or two... but the sight of the build your own Mongolian grill, i just had to linger a little longer! The variety of fresh entrees, the Mongolian Grill, and the dessert bar, were top notch on this , my first visit, and Ill have to make a few return visits before I can pick my favorites. Ill be back in the area next Monday, and Im bringing a friend to share in this new found bounty! Thank you Asian King for allowing a weary traveler to rest, and enjoy your bounty!

We drove down from Dallas on the recommendation of a friend and enjoyed Asian King Buffet so much that we have been back twice with visitors. The food consistently has been very good (youll never get great food at a buffet) and cant be beat for $10 a meal. Always has a variety of seafood, chicken, beef, soup, and veggies (and desserts). Food has always been fresh and good. Our friends who enjoy sushi say it is very good, and the Mongolian grill was well prepared. Restaurant is spacious and clean, and wait staff is friendly and appropriately attentive--they stay nearby but dont hover over the table. Overall, a good, great deal and we plan to come back regularly. 4 stars overall, 5 stars for a buffet.

Showed up about 1 after an early shift at work. All I had was the sushi, which was quite good for a buffet. I like the fact that they make it right there instead if having it shipped inlike some other places. Ive had better sushi, but only at a sushi house where I paid 5 times as much to get full. Will be back to try some of the other fare, which all looked and smelled fresh. Gonna hit the Mongolian grill next time, I think. Service was average, but, hey, its a buffet, not III Forks, right? For 10 bucks and all you can eat, it would be really hard to beat this place. Oh, and the 10 bucks plus tax included the sweet tea.

This is my 1st time writing a review. So sad its not good. Ordered several items. Sesame chicken was tuff, hard to chew. Contacted restaurant they refused to replace order. Said, "others havent complain". As a cook you should realize every time you cook a dish it can turn out differently. First she said would charge $3 for something else comparble then changed to $5. So obviously no written policy. Dont think I want to patronize a restaurant thats unsure how to handle a disagreement regarding food quality. Good customer service is hard to find. I will have to drive out of Waxahachie for Chinese food

The restaurant could use a good cleaning; when you first arrive, you get a whiff of something like dirty water. Once around the corner, you get the good aroma of the food. There are many selections that make this place really good for the entire family. My favorite dish is the sesame chicken; here is a tip for a crispier sesame chicken: get the fried chicken pieces that are by themselves and then get some of the sesame chicken sauce. Otherwise, the chicken batter is soggy as it soaks in the sauce.

The quality of the food is not terrible but not great either. The food is prepared to be more sweet than your average Asian buffet. They stopped refilling the buffet at least an hour before closing and it was obvious much of the food out was not fresh as well. The staff closed off a portion of the restaurant and began eating food from the buffet trays while customers were still being served. It was a slightly strange experience to see that. I dont plan on going back.

I was looking for a good Chinese buffet while in the area on business; Asian King came up short. The restaurant is clean but the food is average (2.5/5) at best. Many of the beef and chicken dishes are much sweeter than I am used to and some items on the buffet were cold. The dumplings and tempura chicken were on the mark but not enough to warrant a return visit.

Food is OK, I find myself just getting the same thing everytime. Price is reasonable, the only thing and this was a big one to me is that there has to be something wrong with their septic system or something, because the smell there was unbearable!!!!!!!! The smell hits you like a wall just as soon as you walk in. I only stayed because my boyfriend had a craving.

Got to the restaurant and found that most of the Dishes were dirty and yet they had put them out for the Dinning Customers to use. The bowls that they had out for putting food into for the grill were filthy. I informed management if I ever returned to find this again ,I would immediately contact the health department.

Food was awful, some of the seafood tasted like it was rotten, restaurant actually smelled like raw sewage at the front of the building, we had a difficult time getting teas refilled and plates removed by wait staff, and way overpriced for the low quality food, service, and ambience. We wont go back.

Been here several times and always leave so full. The crab & cream cheese Rangoons are my favorite. But they also have really good crab sushi. The orange chicken and crawfish are also very good and I must admit Im in love with the veggie spring rolls. Over all one of my favorite places next to Osubas.

All the food is great but I enjoy the facted that I can come here and get my sushi and crawfish and the way they do oysters on a half shell is really great. And they even have squid on the Mongolian grill (but even cooked ull be there a min chewing em lol) Ive been back quite a few times.

the foods and options is good. but the waitresses are not good, they always put me at rush to leave the resturant , it was so bad, i wanted to have some dessert but they cleaned my table and took my receipt and always keep saying thank you and wanted to take my table back....
