I have always had really good food at Pearls...until tonight. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and lemon chicken. Once the food was delivered, me and my fiancee ate a very little bit of the food and found out that it was tasting funny: the lemon chicken smelled and tasted like it was doused in ammonia and the sweet and sour chicken wasnt fully white meat (or didnt seem to be so). After calling in to get my money back, I was treated very rudely and told that I wasnt going to get money back for part of the order, since, as the lady who works there (Linn, I think is her name) put it "its made with only white meat". Funny, if that is the case, why did you take my extra 50 cents to ensure that all of the chicken would be only white meat. No where on the site does it say that it is. After arguing with me quite a bit over the phone, she told me to bring the food in. I did that. The moment I returned the food, she took a look at me and said "Whatever" and started to yell...rather LOUDLY I might add..about me to everyone in the kitchen staff. Linn was being so rude that other customers could hear her screaming. Thats NOT how you treat customers.

Worked there and they took my social and went to China lets just say I didnt get my drive time or my w 2. Then the new owner stole my money and that is the new owner I guess they are related and irs will catch up to them karma will take care of that I have children to care for and to think your boss well bosses steal your money its sad to manipulate single mothers just trying to take care of there family. Very shady owners they steal from there own employees knowing that have children two girl to take care of as a single mother. Im just trying to find a legitimate job to support my children any honest employees that are seeking employment for a employee im a hard worker and never had a problem i worked there 2 years and they changed owners and she stole my tips and she is the owner. I just wish I could find a nice owner that can hire me so I can work with honest people that I can trust i had to quit that job because i cant be working with people that steal its the same thing as her taking food out of my childrens month

I wouldnt give this place 1 star. Everyone here is rude. I ordered food at 7pm, I still havent received it and its 10pm. I called the store several times, they keep saying they cant find me. I went outside to help the driver get to my building, which is the first one as you enter the complex by the way, and after 5 minutes of trying to give her directions, she yells, "Im not delivering to you, its too overwhelming. I did not yell or curse at her, I was simply providing directions. I called the store to tell them what she said, he said he didnt know what to tell me. Smh. I then called her to ask where she was so I could literally meet her somewhere to get my food I had been waiting 3 hours for and she hung up in my face. Im appauled. Who runs business like this? These people just lost good customers.

I gotta say, this is the first time Ive tried these guys, and Im stunned by the good quality of the food. Of course, since this isnt exactly some half-assed pizza joint like Dominos, dont expect them to show up in 20 minutes or something crazy like that. Expect an hour at least. The waiting is well worth it. I ordered the Mu Shu chicken and beef and it was FANTASTIC! Not to mention the lady that delivered the food seemed happy as a clam when she showed up. I dont normally order Chinese, but if you do, do it from here. The food is great, and definitely beats the other local takeout joints. Tip well, dont nit-pick-order a bunch of crap, stay patient, and youll have yourself a good meal.

Ive been going here for years, its not exactly what it used to be, it used to be always packed, some people would even have to park in the back of the building and others would park at the braums next door when there was a braums there, but its still great, I love coming here, theyre always nice, the place is clean, and I always enjoy the food here, and they dont take long to prepare your food, by the time Im finishing my wonton soup (I would defiantly recommend the wonton soup) the food is already being brought to my table, and its also great for takeout. Me and my family think this restaurant is great even if its not what it used to be, I still come here often.

First time I have ever placed a delivery order with this restaurant. Actually first time I have ever eaten their food. At 8pm on 4th of July. You would expect the service to be slow. You would expect the food to be so-so. The entire experience was great. The delivery was quick and the food was hot. At 8pm on 4th of July evening!! Without a doubt some of the best orange chicken I have ever eaten. Enough for 2 meals. The eggrolls were crispy and hot. Not greasy at all. The person who took my order was polite and professional. Well worth the price. I will certainly be calling them again.

This is the worst Chinese Takeout in Dallas. I placed an order for Takeout over two hours ago. I had to call and find out what took them so long. They couldnt even get a driver to deliver my food. When I called, the management was the most rude and unacceptable person I have had to deal with. She wouldnt admit she was wrong to not call about a late order, wrong to accept orders when they cant fulfill them, and wrong to not do anything to make it up for their mistakes. Then to say such rude remarks at the end why I cancelled my order is unforgivable. This place need to shut down and go away.

My wife and I were a little nervous on what we might be served in this small industrial town hotel restaurant. After all, Bakersfield is not LA or NYC or even Portland when it comes to being a foodie Mecca. However we need not have worried - the Belvedere staff presented us with an outstanding dinner. We started with the Arugula Salad with Gorgonzola and then moved onto the Wagyu Beef Porterhouse, accompanied by the Mushroom Riso and Spinach as sides. All were very well prepared and a real pleasure. We highly recommend the Belvedere if you are traveling the I5 and need a quality meal.

If I could I wouldnt even rate it nothing at all ! The supposedly "manager or owner" kept hanging up on me when I told her my order wasnt what we wanted. So she kept yelling at me saying "well its your problem, not our. We make food and that what we give you" so I asked her if it was ok to just give me my money back if I took the food back and she said no that they couldnt do that. This is very impolite ! Then, I asked her if there was anyone else I could talk to because she was being very rude when all I wanted was a refund for there mistake ! This is very unacceptable !
