Southern food. Not the healthiest selection outside of a chicken breast, salmon or salad. But leave the calorie counter at home and you can really enjoy yourself. Friend green tomatoes! Chicken fried steak! Cold beer! Some other items are hit and miss. Their seafood is frozen for too long in my opinion but most will be away from any coast. So if youre not picky try it. Cant complain for a chain. Their baked chicken breast is actually the most moist Ive ever had at a chain. Pretty impressive. Veggies, so so. Sometimes over steamed others near raw. Give it a shot.

Best down home cooking you will ever find in a restaurant, hard to find this kinda food these days , everything is hand made. From mashed potatoes, to baked squash, to hand made salads and more! Best part of it all is Sid Parker hes an amazing graceful man. Loves meeting with all the guest ! Big Blessing to many! Cant wait to come back each day! Thanks Cotton patch for your loyal service!

They have the best cheese fries ever; heart attack on a plate. I also like the salmon healthy-choice meal. Everything else I have tried was too salty. I can tell they are catering to a certain crowd though, and it isnt the 18-45 one. Cold beer, which was a surprise to me. In all, we will return because of the location and the kids like it.

This place has decent food. However the service staff doesnt feel like working today. Dont get me started on the quality of food today. I order fried green tomatoes to my surprise they were burnt but the kicker is this they flipped the tomatoes so that I dont notice it was burnt on the other side. Very disappointed. The nerve of the cook.

Food was horrible. Chicken tortilla soup was cold, and when I complained they replaced it, but chicken tastes like it was microwaved. Cornbread had black coat on it from the bottom of the cast iron pan, didnt clean it out very well and cornbread didnt taste very good.

We normally go to the Watauga location as several years ago we had a negative experience at the NRH location. Had a super experience this time! Crystal was our waitress and we forgot our to go food, and she came out and found us! Well definately return!

Amazing hot food and service. Our waitress, crystal, was very attentive. Ladies room toilets need a good thorough scrubbing inside the bowl. Bring back fried green tomatoes! Pleeeease!!!!

The servers are DEFINITELY unprofessional, and seem to forget about you when you get your food. No drink refills, and food was not very good. The Watauga location is SO MUCH better.
