We finally had the opportunity to visit here in person. Weve ordered takeout and always have been impressed. Our visit was the week of Christmas, so it was decorated with all kinds of festive goodies including twinkle lights. A lovely little atmosphere to spend the evening. Our wait staff was fabulous. About as friendly with us and the kids, as I could possibly imagine. And when our little guy started to have a meltdown, she was prepared with our check before we even had the fear of a two year old struck into our hearts. She must be a mom ;). The food... lets talk. Hubby thought his was OK, and hell probably order something different next time. I ordered the cabbage roles (special, but soon to be added to menu), and they were DIVINE! Like super yummy, and crave-worthy. Plenty of food in the portions, enough so that I was able to take a bit home. We ordered the kids a pita pizza (cant recall what it was called), and it was oddly messy for them. More of a teenager thing than something Ill order for my toddlers next time. They had plenty of other kids options though, so that wont deter us at all. Well definitely be back. This little gem is close to home, a cool atmosphere in the heart of old Keller, and is super super yummy (my opinion weighs more than my husbands). Let me know what kind of experience you have!

Let me preface with the fact that we like the food here and are very familiar with this restaurant. I called an hour ahead for a pickup order. The guy on the phone takes my order, confirms it, and gives me my total and says it will be done in 25-30 mins. I go there an hour later(knowing from experience that they usually take a little longer), and not only was my order not ready, they hadnt even written it down. At this point the hostess takes my order down and offers me a beverage for the wait. I decline and ask her how long it will take suspecting that something went wrong. She informs me that something did go wrong with the phone and the guy who took my order couldnt hear me. If that was the case, then how did he confirm my order and provide a total? I wouldve been less upset if they had just told me the truth instead of lying to my face. After all that, I told them to cancel my order and walked out severely disappointed.

I was thinking of this place after my wife and I dined at Platia Greek in Frisco yesterday. That restaurant has over 80 reviews and I longed to be at Cafe Medi the whole time. It made me appreciate how vibrant the flavors at Medi are and how perfectly seasoned each item is from the Greek Fries to the delicious light lemon and rice soup that has such subtle charm and flavors that develop in your mouth. Generous portions and perfect seasoning. Weve eaten here about 12 times. Weve had 11 wonderful experiences and 1 bad ... thats enough to try it again and revise this review with a five star if they knock it out the park. Last time we ate, the food tasted like it had been prepared in advanced and refired -- and somehow some soap/perfume got on the food. This was in May 2015. So were going to come back in :) -- hopefully that last experience was a fluke. :)

good food, great atmosphere and attentive staff. I love that you can bring your own wine. Amir who posted to the bad review that he couldnt get a to go order at 9:35 pm when they close at 10 and thought that was unreasonable is a buffoon. Seriously who does that and common sense dictates that yes they are open till 10pm so the 9 oclock crowd can finish their dinner, obviously youve never worked in a kitchen in your life. WOW Andy didnt waste a second before posting a bad review, your dinner wasnt even out yet. Sad

Perfect spot for a date night out with your sweetheart, or a family night out. Do yourself a favor, plan a double date here and order the Medi-Combo. Nut Warning: The Baklava does have nuts!

1st time into Café Medi for dinner.My wife and I really enjoyed the nice little quaint atmosphere and the food was superb!We will definitely be going back for another visit in hopes of using there cute patio.We tried the gyro platter which comes w/a side of great tasting rice and awesome green beans.Green beans had some great seasonings in them which gave them tremendous taste.Greek salads were very fresh tasting also!Try it you will enjoy!

Service was good tomato basil soup tasted out of a can it still had the chunks that you would get out of a Campbells tomato soup. I dont care but you should blend it up better the soup was bland. We also had the fool it was OK not hot just warm and took a minute to come out. I was not impressed with any of this food at all. I dont know what all the rave was about.

Awesome outstanding customer service. Colin is our regular waiter and is perfect. The owner greeted us personally and runs a nice cozy restaurant. Even though we came the night of Easter they welcomed us though it was close to closing. Hats off to you guys! Calamari is great and chops delicious. Will come many times again.

I have tried a few things on the menu, and everything has been great! Its BYOB and the food is all made from scratch. If you like dive restaurants, you will like this place. Its an old house that has been made into a restaurant. It is always busy because its always good food. Highly recommend!

The cooking style of this place was very, "different" and almost off-putting. For example, the baklava had cinnamon dusted all over it? Ive had Mediterranean all my life and have never seen that before. The rest of the food was also oddly prepared and was not traditional Mediterranean style.

Regardless of our entrees that havent come out yet. The hummus and pita are so obviously store bought instead of fresh. If you cut corners on two basic must haves in Mediterranean food like hummus and pita then theres no telling where else you cut corners. Shame on you.

Delicious food, large portions, BYOB. The service is so friendly, and we usually enjoy the patio seating on a nice night. My only reason for not giving 5 stars? Wish the place was better maintained. Otherwise, its a wonderful place to bring friends and relax.

Though I am not a fan of Greek cuisine in general, I love this restaurant. The food is always good (there is only one dish I ever get, but everyone with whom I have dined has loved it) and a really nice atmosphere. Highly recommend, especially for date night.

The food is good, Baklava was fresh and delicious, but the best part about my experience was the polite and cheerful service. Our server, Addison, was constantly smiling and helpful even as my two young children made a mess, and I really appreciated it.
