We were passing through McKinney after visiting my parents and we needed a couple of things from the store and so we decided to give it a try. I was very impressed. I only went in for basics like milk and bread. The prices were so good, picked up a few other things and was regretting that I had only grabbed a handheld basket and didnt have more time to shop. If you add to the experience that the employees were so nice and helpful and the store was spacious, neat, organized and SO clean. I only got to run through there so fast I only got a quick glance at the different sections. I am disappointed that this is so far from where we live. We are on the other side of the Dallas area so we would have to make a special trip to shop her. If they build one anywhere in the NW Dallas area, we would definitely shop there over Wal-mart. The prices, service and store is so much better. I did run back in to take advantage of some special prices in their seafood market since that stuff is so expensive. Build more of these in Dallas!!!!!!

Very large selection of food and priced less than other places. Very nice produce department with a large selection of fruits and vegetables. Bulk foods are nice and will save more money than buying off brand items. One thing store needs to learn though this is Texas and Texans know beef. Youll need to be a little picky when selecting butchered meat. A lot of the meat seems a little too fatty and choice at best. Store brand prepackaged lunch meat is not very good, quality or taste wise. Some of their butcher cut meat that is a little past its prime and discounted maybe needs to go in the dumpster. Having seen some of the "clearance " grey steaks was pretty off putting and made me look elsewhere for fresh steak. Overall nice store, good selection and great prices. Just need to work on them past prime steaks and store brand lunch meat.

I was so excited to shop here at first, and weve been going here for the last 7 months. As of late its not been worth going anymore. The low prices are for a reason, most products are near their expiration dates, and a lot are not marked correctly for their expiration dates. Two times now we have bought the pre-packaged turkey from the deli and it has started to turn grey a week before its expiration date. The strawberries go bad in a matter of days, even when you cut them and try to preserve them to the best of your abilities. Most of the fruits are busted up or bruised. There has been many times Ive had to dig for yogurt and milk that was not going to be expiring in a few days. Its just not worth the money you "save", because you end up spending it on replacing the messed up products you bought in the first place.

I sure wish they would come to North Arkansas and Southern Missouri. Good location, the local economies are pretty good and lots of wealthy live around the lakes. Wal~Mart was having their shareholders meeting a few weeks ago and all the big whig home office folks & analysts were in all the NW Arkansas stores snooping around. So I began showing them pictures of Winco and their excellent quality and prices. That was absolutely hilarious to see their reactions. I travel extensively and Winco is a top favorite store to shop at! Keep up the good work!

We recently moved from the Northwest where WinCo is fairly prevalent, and I was so excited to learn that there is one in McKinney! I love WinCo. They have great prices, friendly staff, and a clean store. I really enjoy the bulk section to buy yogurt pretzels, granola, etc. I also appreciate that it is open 24 hours. Their prices are often as good or better than Walmarts prices. The only thing about this location-- I really wish the bathrooms were cleaner!

Nothing special. Prices are about the same as Walmart. But the reason I did not like that store is that they DO NOT accept credit cards!!!!! Just cash or debit!!!. This is the first time I ever heard a store in US that does not accept credit cards . Was so inconvenient for me and the last time ever I did shop there. Would not certainly recommend it to anyone. If your are going to shop there have your cash or debit card ready.

Great store for saving money on grocery items. Beats the other stores every time. Produce and meat are better quality than those found at other grocers in the area. They do not take credit cards, but do accept debit. You must bag your own purchases, but all these cuts are the way they maintain low prices. Additionally the bulk food section and coffee selections are great.

I drive from The Colony to shop here! Hate the drive, but love love love the store. If you make homemade pizza, try WinCos dough and pizza toppings. Great for the kids since they can make their own and the dough is better than the local pizzerias. I love the meat, deli, and general location of how the store is set up. Prices, especially for folks on a budget are awesome.

WinCo is the best grocery store. It is open 24 hours. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. There is a wide variety of everything. And, my favorite part is the most unique feature of WinCo: the candy/spices/nuts/oats/rice/snacks/etc. area, which you can buy in any increment- from only a spoonful up to a large bucket.

Consistently great prices, and the selection of items is always improving. A couple of months back they started carrying plain Greek yogurt and I was beyond excited! The only place that may beat their prices (and pays their employees fairly) is Aldis. Which I also shop at, but their selection is waaaay limited.

Wanted to see what all the excitement was about. After reading the reviews I decided to get a few things like steak & produce. There was a few things that were cheaper than other grocery stores but overall no big savings. I bought a rib eye and it was tough and tasteless. Not sure if I will go back.

Winco is my grocery store. I really do not like going there, but its the closest store to my house. Everything in the store is already expired or has mold on it. So if u could contact the store and tell them please dont leave mold on food. That would be nice.

They are starting to cut corners, undersized fruit ; called "lunchbox", "school boy" sizes and cutting bakery offerings. Most bakery items are not even made here any longer. The store is clean and well stocked. Prices beat Wal Mart. Friendly staff
