This review is based on what they call their "open mic" on Thursday evening. I was there early, talked to the guy running the jam, and was told I would be called up soon. Some time later I watched a bunch of young people come in with guitars. After the backing band played their expected set, the stage was given over to first one group of these young people, then another. When this second group was given the stage, the emcee announced that they were going to let the "young people have the stage for a while." I am all in favor of encouraging youth in music, but if you are not going to let older people play, you should let them know when they come in. Note I was the only harmonica player in evidence - most open mics will let a harpist join in as an extra player, although this should not have been a concern, as I was certainly there well before the others who were given the stage. After a couple of hours, and with a new set of "young people" getting started on stage, I left. BTW, if you want to hear some excellent young guitar players, you could do worse than come here. At least one of them was exceptional, and others were very good. What I suspect is that most of the people given the stage were students or graduates of the nearby School of Rock. If this is a venue for allowing those people to show the results of their work, that is fine. Just let people know in advance, is all I ask. Dont advertise your event as an "open mic" if it is not actually "open".

I agree with Kimberly that you dont go to the Caddy for pizza, but I will add that it is awesome pizza nonetheless!! Its the music, charm, and food that you go for! It appears from the date of her review that Kimberly went before the recent remodeling. As a regular, I was eager to see the improvements. Last night I went. It was devastating to see. All the old photos on the walls were gone along with the neon guitar signs, beer signs, etc. The old bar along the wall- ripped out. Bare brick walls-- sort of a feng shui attempt it seems. The charm and unplanned look of the Caddy had been totally erased. It could be any other bar anywhere. The food was still very good. Tuesday is Singer-Songwriter night, and before the singer would sit on a stool in the table area rather than on a stage. Hed chat with the audience between songs-- all just very informal and intimate. Now there is a new stage with all the proper lighting, etc. and something has been lost. I just hope that it does not turn off all the excellent performers that frequented the Tuesday Night Singer-Songwriter event because as many of them would comment-- this is a place where people actually listen to music and you can connect with the audience. I used to compare the Caddy with the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. At least in ambiance, this comparison is no longer valid. I hope the music doesnt go the way of the charm. I will return and hope for the best.

I had been to the pub on a Friday night a few weeks ago when the place was packed. It took about 50 minutes to get our pizza and the pizza was good. The live music was a little too loud for comfortable eating. Forget about talking to the people at your table or the wait staff being able to hear your order. We went back on a Tuesday nigh. Maybe one third of the tables were full and the piped in music was not too loud. However our pizza took 40 minutes to cook and all of the tables were served their food before we were finally given our pizza. It was a cheese pizza with tomatoes and was not as good as the pizza we had waited 50 minutes for the last time we were at the pub. I saw the cook putting card board in the brick oven before our pizza came out and it filled the oven with smoke. Maybe that explains the off flavor and black edges of the pizza. I believe they had given our pizza to another table that was complaining about the wait and had to start over on our pizza. Not cool. Now I am the unhappy customer. Also, I noticed the chalkboard said it was ladies night and drinks were half off, but my beer was the same price ($4.50) as my husbands. The little details really make or break my experience out. Next time I have a choice, I will not choose the Cadillac Pizza Pub,

Ate there on October 2nd and received bad service. The food was ok, but the waitress ran off before we could order our daughters drink and we had to waive down another lady when she didnt come back for over 5 minutes. Took forever to order our food, never came back until we flagged her down again after we had been done eating for awhile and were waiting on a ticket. I wasnt going to make an issue out of it, we liked the place, and sometimes bad service just happens. But I posted a photo of my daughter pouting about not having her drink, PURELY because it was adorable, she is only 3, and the waitress found the photo and attacked me on Instagram and literally said if I tipped her better we would have received better service. Let that sink in for a minute. This was the first time she had ever waited on us, but if I had tipped her better we would have received better service? Not making sense to you either? I was astounded that someone could be so rude and so unprofessional as to attack me and call me a bad tipper over Instagram. I tipped her EXACTLY what she earned. And no, it wasnt much. To top it off, I didnt even post her name, or the name of the restaurant on this particular Instagram post. It was simply a cute picture of my daughter. I will NEVER eat here again.

Bad Experience last night. Ordered two drinks while waiting to to be seated, was asked if I wanted drinks on a tab, seemed like a good idea, then they said they needed a credit card to run a tab, so I left my credit/debit card with a bar waitress. DONT LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD WITH cadillac pizza FOR A TAB! I Was ready to order another drink, the waitress said they didnt have my credit/debit card. When I repeatedly told the waitress I gave it to her she responded "There is no record of your credit card in our system", which by the third time i heard that, my voice was raised and they told me to tone it down. So a lost or stolen credit card, a challenge of my veracity, and some embarrassment. Then they didnt even ask for contact information in case the card was found. They did comp me my two drinks, but that is small consolation for a pleasant evening cut short and the bureaucratic hoops Im now jumping through with vendors such as AT&T and PayPal that are affiliated with that debit account. DONT LEAVE YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD HERE FOR A TAB, YOU MAY NEVER SEE IT AGAIN, and may have some cleaning up to do on affiliated accounts afterwards. AND THEY DONT GIVE A FLIP, couldnt get rid of me fast enough.

My husband and I came and sat at a table with some friends to listen to music. We had been there for an hour or so when I noticed my husband leaving the side door just after waitress talked to him. I waited for him to return but saw the waitress take the chair he had been sitting in. Startled, I asked what was going on and she said he had to leave. Not sure what happened, I asked for our tab so I could pay and find him. She asked for names which I gave both my husband and mine along with confirming our order I wanted to pay. She then accused me of being rude. I was so caught off guard by her accusation while trying to pay our bill so I could find my husband. After paying, I leave and find my husband who told me waitress rudely asked him to leave saying he was in the way. Yes, it was crowded, but we had been sitting there for over an hour and nothing was said. Upon communicating with friends when we were home, they said a table right next to us became open and was available. This was such rude and poor customer service! Dont worry Cadillac Pizza, you have two less people coming to your establishment and one of us has the "ear of many". Julie Baublis
