I love Landons wine. You can get a bottle here for $10 - $25 depending on the wine. I have done a couple tastings which are a great deal - especially if you have never been or dont know what wines you like. The room is a good size there is a bar, an open area, a room that can be used as a private room and a large patio. I really enjoy coming on slower times. It can be a bit crowded and loud on summer weekends Saturday nights they usually have a band playing on the patio. This seems to be their busiest time but they also are very laid back on the weekdays and Sundays which is a nice mix. The cheese board is really good! If you want to sit and have a nice conversation with friends this is the place to be.

The wait staff was incredibly rude and insulting to our party of 9 on the night of 6/11/2016. We cant speak to the quality of the wine or even what the menu looks like because we never made it to that point. When we asked the waitress if we could pull a few chairs over to have enough seating her response was " well i guess thats ok as long as you dont make a mess" . Needless to say we were completely stunned and wasted no time in taking our entire party right back out their pompous door. There goes at least 3 bottles of wine worth of sales not to mention this review. Management needs to train their staff on how to treat customers with respect and less like snobs.

McKinney Location: The wine was fantastic but the guy behind the bar was a complete jerk. He threw his hands up when I asked about an appetizer I ordered and said "Ill get to it when I can, I am the only person working". I felt like I needed to apologize because gee we all have bad days right?! So when I did he made another sarcastic comment. I came to the winery to become a wine club member and the way he acted and reacted has me never going back. My wife and I both walked in wearing evening attire so it wasnt like we looked like scrubs. Ill never go back and Ill preach the same to everyone else.

Did a wine tasting from a Google offer with my wife. Bob Landon led the tasting and he was awesome. Great wines. Great personality. Couldnt help himself but pull out a few extra bottles of wines that werent even on the list. Very knowledgeable. Wife and I probably had the equivalent of 4 or 5 glasses each between the 10 or so wines we tasted. It was a great experience and were definitely looking to go back.

Great environment - love the little patio where you can listen to live acoustic music most Friday and Saturday nights. Mandy helped me pair wines with my list of cheeses for a tasting party we had on the farm. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Cathy loves the Yellow Rose, a sweet wine. My favorite is the Tempranillo - Texas-made and great with peppery cheeses. Thanks!

The wine was decent, but the service was very poor. We did a tasting and the employee serving us barely made eye contact or spoke to us. He didnt know anything about the winery or McKinney in general. We left as quickly as possible because the interaction was so uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

Two glasses of wine before dinner at Ricks next door. 32.77 later, yes, they served me 20.00 glass of wine while my wife had a 7.50 glass and they didnt even think twice to mention it was one of the very expensive vintages or varietals? RIP OFF! Beware... just happened this last Saturday evening

Very disappointing. We were barely given enough notice to get our 5 tastings let alone find out anything about wines. A couple came in behind us, not a word was said to them and they left. They got lucky. Bad wine, bad service. Lovely location. Its too bad.

This place is great. We had the "yellow rose" and the pinot noir. I will be going by there anytime I want a bottle of wine. The staff was very nice and helpful. We stopped here for awhile then went next door to Ricks Chophouse. What a great date night!

I have been here many times and am a wine club member. I have always received such great, friendly service and Landon wines are my favorite. I love their reds! They offer one of the best value wine tastings - 5 tastes for $5. I LOVE this place!
