My Mom, sister, nephew and my son and I went to Lubbock to visit some family and decided for dinner that since we didnt know anything about the near by restaurants we would eat at Red lobster. Well when we got there as soon as we walked in the smell was not pleasant at all. It did not seem like we were walking into a restaurant. It smelled better out where you could smell the aromas from the surrounding restaurants. Despite the smell we decided to go ahead and be seated. The waiter name was Georgia I think or Georgina. She was nice but the way she placed the items on the table was not so pleasant. Like the coasters, straws, and salads were sat on the table like she was tossing them to us. She went and got the drinks first. All of the glasses were dirty, you could clearly see the smudges on them. My drink (raspberry lemonade) had something black in it so I told her I did not want it and that I would just take a water. My sister drink had something into, luckily the kids drinks were in plastic cups. She brought the glass of water back with dirty condensation running down the side so I did not want that either but I did not want to seem like a complainer so I just left it on the table. Next were the salads as they were tossed on the table at us as well but before she brought them out we unrolled our napkins to find dirty silverware. You could see that they were not clean. I had to use the glass of water she brought me to clean our silverware. The lettuce in the salads were wilted and not fresh at all. In my nephews salad was a huge chuck of the heart of a lettuce head filled with dirt on of that the salad bowls were dirty. You could feel the stuck on food on them. She brought out bread and saucers with the salads. The very first plate in the stack of saucers you could feel the stuck on food on them as well from where they had not been cleaned properly. At that point I had had enough. I stated to Georgia all of my concerns and that we no longer wanted to dine that evening. I told her that we would pay for the drinks and the salads if we needed to but we were not satisfied with the level of service. She got the manager and she was very polite about the situation. She offered to get the salads remade but I declined. I showed her the lettuce, the silverware, the glasses and I advised her to touch the plates so that she could feel the stuck on food. She hesitated to touch them but this is what you were serving for us to eat off of. She stated that the we did not owe anything and that everything was taken care of. I dont know if this was a franchise or independently owned but it should not matter. They should all uphold the same service saying that they represent ONE NAME. Anyways from now on I can say I will not be visiting Red Lobster in Lubbock anymore. 5034 50th Street Lubbock, TX 79414

My spouse and i have taken to leaving God honest reviews to the restaraunts we visit. Many negative thoughts come to mind as i recall my dining experience here. However, i will start with this one good thing. The waiter was attentive. Apart from that, the food was a let down. The biscuits we all know and love where soggy, old and sad. Our lobster pizza was far from crispy. Under cooked and more than likely prepared in advanced, past through a heating belt and served that way. It was soggy and far from appetizing. Our entrees where brought to us next. "The Ultimate Feast" was likely sitting for a few hours (if not days) waiting to be served. Wether or not they just threw everything in a microwave i can not tell. The lobster meat was shriveled up in the tail. Black ends on all of it. Looking far from edible. The crab legs where comparable to those of an asian buffet, that had been sitting for hours in their juice waiting to be plated. To top it off, you have the petruding smell of mold filling your nostrils the moment you step in. Pease save your $75 and go to your local grocery store first before coming to get your seafood fix here. PS. The broccoli was good.

I will give this restaurant 3 stars because the service was awesome. Our server was Alex. He was wonderful and helped every step of the way. I dropped a pen under the table, and a young waitress crawled under to retrieve it for me. I am closer to 50 than to 25. :) I was not impressed with the food or the portions. The food was warm, not hot. My rice became cold immediately. I ordered the ultimate, and it was not very impressive. My Margarita was all blended, cold, and very VIRGINAL! Did the bartender put any tequila in it? My buddy ordered a Mud Slide, there appeared to be no alcohol in his drink as well. The biscuits were delicious, however, I did not pay 77.00 plus a tip for delicious biscuits. 20 years ago, I clearly remember The Red Lobster served Dinners! They now serve entrees. It was Sunday afternoon, not many people were there, and it was unimpressive.; What happened to the Sampler? That was awesome! What happened to the Red Lobster? Stay home and bake your own fish.DO NOT ORDER A DRINK FROM THE BAR!!! It was a total waste of money; I swear they were virginal.

Stay away from this place! Red Lobster is one of my favorite restaurants but this particular one is horrible! The restaurant was not busy at all. Waited over an hour to get our overcooked, dry seafood. We ordered an appetizer, never received it. And when our food finally did come out, my dtr, who ordered a chicken finger kids meal, did not receive it. Had to wait even longer for her meal. I asked to see a manager and the cook came to the table! He was very rude and had no compassion nor cared about our horrible experience. Pathetic! The waiter dropped the check, and we never saw him again. The bartender had to check us out. After spending so much money on disgusting food and horrible service, they only took the kids meal off the ticket. Wow, $6. I didnt expect a free meal, but I expected more of a discount. We wanted to walk out so many times and we should have. Dont waste your time or money on this place! Definitely more other places to get really good seafood.

Place was decent before the remodel. Turned up the service during remodel and it was good. Since then, twice we have been back. The service was bad, the staff didnt care about dropping glasses or food on the floor... much less waiting on their tables. Our waitress rather deposit the checks on the table then complain to coworker in a joking way that she was getting wrote up again for cussing. Made excuses for why things werent on the table... bar was backed up... no ranch (but a table right next to us was served salads with ranch 5 minutes after)... drinks barely kept refilled and they were water. Seafood was overcooked, pastas undercooked. Prices are the same and food portions went down... Worst Red Lobster that I have ever been to so far.
