Although service isnt the fastest, they make their entrées fresh and you can definitely taste the difference! After devouring our appetizers, our HUGE delicious lunches arrived and my twin three-year-olds kept telling me how delicious their pad see ew was while I attempted to down half of my delectable green curry. On a side note, Im still blown away by the fact that my husband managed to eat his whole ginormous bowl of Drunken Noodle Soup with Chicken! Suffice it to say that after enjoying our lunches here, my sons and I definitely delighted equally in our identical dinners! As a side note, if it wasnt already clear, from our three experiences at Blu Ginger, the lunch portions will certainly fill up a full-grown man, a pregnant woman or even a mommy providing sustenance to two tiny--yet nonetheless rapidly growing--mini-men. In gist, even if youre famished, be assured that youll leave here with your pangs being fully (and undoubtedly enjoyably) quashed. As a final aside, to anyone that has had a less-than-enjoyable experience here in the past, I have no doubt that speaking politely and respectfully to the servers/managers/owners will only elicit a positive response.

It bears almost no resemblance to Thai food. MY first clue was there was chopsticks tucked into my napkin; they were orange and black... Trick or treat? I had Tom Yum Gai to start with. Telling the waiter I wanted Tom Yum Gai drew a blank look... He asked if I wanted Tom Yum soup with beef, chicken or pork. He then asked how hot I wanted it! Incredible. The soup was composed of just chicken stock with raw mushroom, an anemic slice of raw tomato and stinky, tough chicken. I ordered spicy catfish only to find it was breaded catfish strips with glop on it and lots of vegetables with a big pile of (tasteless) fried basil on top. Some of the catfish was inedible. The plain rice was the best part of the meal. I couldnt even eat a quarter of this dish. It might have as well been covered with Russian dressing. My glass of sauvignon blanc was old and sub-par. Service was slow. I couldnt wait to get out of there.

Im normally a fan of this fine Thai restaurant but our service today was unacceptable. Even though the restaurant was half full, our group of four waited for our food over 50 minutes after ordering. The manager was never visible and obviously never came by our table to apologize or see how our experience was going. The server mentioned twice that there were other tickets ahead of us but offered no other apology or explanation for the lengthy wait. Im disappointed that I will not be visiting this restaurant again regardless of the excellent food quality. UPDATE: The owner responded to an email explaining that he was busy today and offered me a free meal. I stand by my review.

The food is excellent here, but the last few times Ive gone, the service is HORRIBLE! Today, our waitress spilled Thai tea all over one of us.. took 25 minutes to bring our appetizer.. and forgot to put in our order.... then after waiting even longer, when our order came out, it was wrong and she had to have them re-make ti which took even longer. The manager came over to apologize to us and I thought he was going to give us a discount for the inconvenience and the fact that it took around 50 minutes to get our food.. but he didnt do anything for us. Even though the food is good, its not worth this kind of experience!

One of the worst Thai restaurants I have ever been to. Food was awful, waiters were so ill behaved, table and chairs were not clean. I had to clean the chairs myself. The waiters/waitresses in uniform were good. But there thai lady, who I assume to be their owner has no clue on how to deal with customers. I am a vegetarian and ordered vegetarian curry. It did not have any tofu or mushrooms. And, last but not the least, the food was sheer tasteless. Curry tasted like steamed vegetables in hot water. Would never recommend any one to go there and will never visit there myself.

I have only been here for lunch. Lunches run $10 - $15. There is indoor seating and a shaded patio. Every entre is served with a cup of chicken-and-rice soup and a small spring roll. The ingredients are fresh and the presentation is attractive. I find the meals to be quite delicious, as well. The service is good, although it varies somewhat. This place has always been very crowded and fairly noisy, so I would classify it as a casual dining place. I am usually seated so close to other parties that I frequently wind up in a conversation with other patrons.

First two visits were decent experiences. I chose this locate because it is on the gluten free restaurant listing. My first two visits were during lunch hour. The food was tasty and seasoned very well. The second visit, my bank card was overcharged because of a mix up and I had to wait 5 days for it to be returned to my account. My third visit was not as pleasant. I ordered from the regular menu and the dish was not seasoned well at all. I ended up pouring my well seasoned soup dish into my entree to liven up the taste. Will probably return for lunch only.

The food was overpriced for what it was. "Veggie Crispy Rolls" are an overdose on cabbage and lacking in carrots or cucumbers or any other vegetables. The "Orange Peel" chicken was fatty and drowning in a not-so-orange flavored sauce; and the "Nutty Professor" was unimpressive. They try real hard on the presentation of the food and the servers are attentive, but its just not worth it. And, the walls near our table were dirty with food splatter (unappetizing and unsightly for any restaurant). We wont ever go back.

The food has been consistently good. Ive taken my wife, who is a vegetarian, here a few times and she liked it as well. On the other hand, I went to lunch with some coworkers and they complained that the Thai tea wasnt as good as they were hoping for, but they liked the fact that the server brought extra spices (peppers) to the table to heat things up. Everyone at the table who paid cash also got shorted a bit on changed - not a big deal, but not a good practice if you want your customers to keep coming back.

Good food but when there is no one in the restaurant dont sit people right next to each other. They sat my party of two at a table for four (two small tables right next to each other) and then sat another party of two at the other little table. I am ok if the place is packed but more than half of the tables were empty. I do not like sitting that close to people I do not know. They were uncomfortable and so were we!! It was quiet in the place and it was awkward hearing each others conversation.

I had something that was supposed to come with Tofu and vegi. But it did not come with tofu. So I asked the server to help me. She brought the manger in, who looked at my food and said I see some in there. Then she had the audacity to poke my food and check only to find that there was not any tofu. So the manger send me a side plate with 5 small pieces of tofu. I have been there several time. But this experience was insulting. I will never go back. Will not take my friends there either.
