We went here after eating at another restaurant. We wanted dessert and had been eyeing this place down the street from our hotel where we stayed at La Quinta. We were here on vacation. Gosh, I wish we would have eaten here the first day we got here. We ordered shakes. Two strawberry banana for our girls then the hubby wanted the same and I ordered the fried apple with ice cream which also happened to come in a shake cup. I wish I would have taken a picture. It was awesome! My husband loved the strawberry banana shake so much he ended up finishing our daughters shakes that they couldnt finish. Our waitress Beth was really nice Im so sorry if I get her name wrong Im writing this weeks after the visit. We were there the week before 4th of July. My apple pie shake was so delicious and it had caramel at the bottom. Frying that apple pie was a genius move. Also everything else smelled so good. I wish we gone before so we c pull have tried the rest of the menu. They definitely need to pictures up of their food.

Dont let the location of this 50/60s style burger joint put you off. Its VERY CLEAN, Great GENUINELY FRIENDLY and HAPPY Staff - Chris was GREAT, as was the girl working the front of the house - I didnt get her name. The food was good, onion rings - the best in Rockport, and some of the best Ive ever had. Definitely house made. Live music on the patio on weekends! Family friendly. Well priced. I saw a review about the super bright lighting, but changing that requires $$$. If its too bright from the florescent lights just sit under an umbrella in their FENCED Patio area or well, Hey - its Rockport - wear your sunglasses. This is a fantastic addition to Rockport. Please support this small family owned and operated business. We will definitely be back soon! Thanks Chris for the great service, and hats off to their cooks!

From first appearances, we werent sure about eating here. But do not let the outside appearance fool you. This IS a place that you want to stop at to eat. Not only was the food amazing but the customer service was too. Christopher was the only waiter on the floor. He welcomed guests in with a smile. He got around to all the tables quickly and updated each table on when their food would be ready. He also suggested different foods from the menu. Christopher was very attentive, polite, positive, and enthusiastic, even with his co-workers. All of the customers appeared to enjoy their experience. He also thanked each customer as they were leaving. As a manager, this is a customer oriented employee I would want on my team. Route 35 eats, give this guy a pay raise-- he will bring the customers back and keep growing your business.

My husband and I ate here a week ago. We were traveling through Rockport and decided to eat here based on the Google reviews. It is a fabulous place to eat! The atmosphere is friendly, warm, and fun. The decor and music from the 50s and 60s. The food is undescribably delicious. My husband had the fried shrimp. There were so many on his plate (at least a dozen) we had to get a togo box. I had the patty melt. The ground meat patty was 1" thick smothered with grilled onions with melted Swiss cheese on rye bread. The sandwich was one of the best if not THE best patty melt I have ever had. Our waitress Christine was super. She and all the other staff were attentive and very friendly. We strongly recommend this restaurant! Bring your appetite. We give it a 5 napkins rating!!!

I think I have eaten most of the food here. I always get the same response from my taste buds...Mmm-Good! ! Burgers are huge and juicy, can be cooked to your liking: rare, med, and etc. My favorite dish is the salad with grilled chicken. I love the bleu cheese crumbles, bacon ,chicken, eggs and everything they put in this salad, Yummy!!! The pulled pork is Awsome too!! Im a local and I love to eat here!! Service is awsome, thanks Chris!!! Food is terrific , thanks kitchen staff!!! I Definitely recommend this place!!

Beautiful burgers but no taste...BLAND! Onion rings and fries were soaked in grease and sloppy. The GOOD NEWS; buy a char broiler for your meat and youll double your business! Turn up the temp on your fryers and crisp up your fries and onion rings, drain under heat lamp before serving. Youll be a BIG HIT if you just tweak your cooking methods a bit. I would love a burger like yours if it were flame broiled!! Try my hints and youll soon see an upswing in your sales.

We had the pulled pork sandwich that was on special. The pork was moist and flavorful. We asked for BBQ sauce on the side (we like to add our own). The bun was soft and had a great chew. It came with fresh, hot, seasoned fries. Also some coleslaw, pickles and onions. The meal was excellent and priced right at $10.99. The service was friendly and attentive. We would definitely dine there again!

I got the fried shrimp basket with sweet potato fries..excellent service and taste. . Prices were reasonable . Almost couldnt finish. ..so much food. I think a complimentary small desert would be really nice. . Would definitely recommend and plan on coming back. Thank you for service.

Not fast, not good, and way over priced. Dont wast your time here. For a burger costing $10 and over very very disappointing. Go to Steer Burger down business 35 towards Aransas Pass a bit for an amazing burger and fries under $8.

Had the Rockport Burger(beef patty with pineapple and teriyaki sauce). It was perfect. The waitress,Christine, was one of the most pleasant, sweetest ladies Ive ever met. Will definitely come back when Im in the area.

Great charcoal burger! I had the one with quaccomole and grilled onions. Wonderful staff ...very friendly. I will bring family here. Did I mention they have beer and wine? Also they have an outdoor smoking area.

Rockport has a treasure in 35 Eats! The bloomin onion with their special sauce is amazing! Burgers are tasty and the 50s music playing made for a great experience! Cant wait to get back!
