Family Restaurant is good solid down home cooking. If youre looking for something fancy and high-class this is not the place if you looking for just good food this is it a family really enjoys heating here we have our favorites on the menu so sure the green chili casserole or the build your own omelette. Me and my mom come here often only for breakfast though and when we come in we are greeted with a friendly smile and staff the chicken fried steak is 8.99 and is huge cant ever finish it. My mom gets a half order of biscuits and sausage and crispy hash browns. This place isnt some hole in the wall its clean and I recommend this place to you.

It was our first visit, there were 6 in our party. We all ordered something different from the breakfast menu and everyone said how good their meal was. Delicious food! Staff was friendly and prompt. Lots of cars parked in front, I can see why. We will be back next time we are in town.

Atmosphere is pleasant. We went for lunch. Waitress took our drink and food orders quickly. Once we received our food, there was no check to see if we needed anything else ...until we had almost finished our meals...no offer to refill our tea until finished.

Nice clean place and the food was awesome. I had banana French toast, my husband had their King Ranch casserole with aside of mash potatoes and our 14 yoa son had mash potato meatloaf. We cleaned our plates off, we be back for sure.

The cashier over charged a $27 meal by $20 and then was aurgumentive and rude when requesting correction. Will never give this so called restaurant , food not that good, my business again. Too bad there is not a negative

Pork chop was really thin and smelled and tasted spoiled. Didnt eat it. Saw a huge cockroach as I was making my order, tried to stump on it and missed. It scurried to the next table. Staff was friendly enough though.

Best in Rockport We tried others, but this is the best. Dont be fooled by "home cooking" down the street. This is great food in a clean and friendly atmosphere. The Green Chili Casserole is worth going back for!
