I dont do many reviews but when I have an experience like this, its time to share. I will list on order. 1. I sat down to a roach crawling across my plate. The waitress saw it and grabbed me another plate. 2. Waitress spilled my beer and it hit the floor shattering glass and beer all over my back and handbag. No apology. 3. No dipping sauces for your steak, shrimp, or chicken. 4. Absolutely no flavor at all in the food. 5. I ordered 3 fried rices at 2.50 each. Instead of using the little bowls to get an accurate portion, I get the cook dividing in his mind what is 3 which turns out to be the equivalent to one and a half and I shared my 3 portions with the other 4 people at the table. I had my 3 year old there so we all wanted rice. He gave my 3 year old a hand full maybe. I ordered goyza that came out cold and mushy along with my mushy shaggy dog. 6. Saw Waitress once before the bill came where she honed over my back to try and intimidate me for her tip after arguing with me about the fried rice she charged me for that I clearly didnt get. SAVE your money or go a little further down the road to kobehana. I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE. HORRIBLE!

My friend and I went here during lunch earlier today and we have gone here several times. In the past the food is awesome, and always is, and the service was great, but today the food was as awesome as usual, but the staff was extremely bad. We couldnt figure out who our server was, my drink ran dry, the girl never came to check on us. My friend had to hunt the girl down to get our ticket to go and then took even LONG to get a togo cup for the both of us. When she brought my friends ticket back not only was she was unprofessional about what was wrong with the ticket, but after returning everything she ran off, then came back to say have a great day!. I love the food, but not for the price and poor service.We told the hostesses but I doubt theyll tell the manager. Their excuse was that the girl was new. New my butt b/c there were some people that complained before us that they waited 20 mins before being asked what to drink or to get their food order taken. People dont have a long lunch to wait on the servers.

I use to visit once a week since its our only local nice atmosphere sushi bar, but the service and friendliness has completely gone. Avoid it. The food is OK and is not the problem. Its the service. Website says closes at 10 pm. I arrive 9:40 and sit at the sushi bar. Im immediately told by the female night mgr that the kitchen is closing. No one brings me a menu and the waiter is looking at me to order blindly. I get a menu and order, then the cleaning with clorox begins at 9:45pm. I told them to change their website to closing at 9 pm and I wont show up, but since I was seated that I should be afforded the same service as all customers. Thats the problem, they dont understand service. To them, customers just mess up the place. Avoid Toros after 9 pm. Funny, as I leave I notice families inside Applebees next door still at their tables talking and eating. Toros has already got the vacuum cleaners running by 10:15. The clorox smell made me finish my meal in a to go bag.

Amazing sushi! loved the scorpion roll and would highly recommend the food. I wish i could say the same for the customer servive. The ONLY waitress there with great etiquette is Adet. Ask for her! Shes very attentive, everyone else is rude and just sees you as a dollar amount!!! The male manager is very rude and unpleasant with his gestures and attitude. He thinks because he is the manager that it is not in his best interest to make sure his customers are well taken care of, instead he smirks at you if you are in need of anything while all the other waitors are hustling around not seeing that you need their attention. Again, this place has great food and HORRIBLE service. youre better off just ordering your food over the phone and picking it up because the service is terrible and will put you in a bad mood. If you are dining in, i would only recommend Adet to be your waitress.

The food has always been great. I have gone often since its convenient and not too pricey. The last visit, my husband found a paper doily on the bottom of his salad; the chef said it belonged there. We took photos of it with our Iphone to let the health ispectors know paper is in the seafood salad. We let the manager know about the paper, and she tried to convince us it belonged there too. Very rude lady by the way.We left and then noticed we left the phone there, my husband went back to the restaurant to get his phone, it magically disappeared. Everyone looked suspicious. We will never again go to this restaurant and we have contacted the BBB about this problem and beware of chefs special: PAPER DOILY!!!!!

Went here for dinner. Arrived and hostess who was rude and did not welcome us nor said hi, sat us by the door and walked away. 15 minutes passed and not one person came over to take our order or give us water. The hostess was never seen again. The waitress who was serving the table in front of ours came by twice during that time, looked at us both times and walked away not acknowledging our existence. Whats sad is that my boyfriend really liked this place and he was excited for me to eat here for the first time. We had already chosen what we wanted to eat and were ready but no one ever came. We got up, and went over to Chuys instead. They have awesome margaritas! Go there instead and avoid this place.

The food was really good. I cant take away that from them. However after having patron the restaurant a few times I went for a birthday party and there was a roach crawling on the table. The waitress and management response was to move to another table not there sorry and Ill look into the roach issue. We left and did not eat there that day. We went back a different day I hoping that our last experience was an isolated incident. After ordering we were joined by three roaches at our table. Needless to say no matter how good the food I will not be giving a place that knows they have roaches and refuse to remedy it anymore of my money or business.

The food was good but the service was horrible. My tab was just over $100 dollars and I left a $10 dollar tip which I thought was fair considering the server only brought us soda refills. When my wife and I were leaving the server said that it was not enough tip and that she needed at least 15-20%. I politely told her that tips are not obligations and that I though what I was giving her was fair. She insisted on increasing the tip amount because "her boss says so". I gave her an extra $5 because they were not allowing me to leave. I DONT RECOMMEND TORO because they will force you to tip what they want not what they deserve.
