We visited the Bareback Bar on a Saturday, went in about 7.45 in the evening. The bar was quiet, few customers, most of the tables empty. We asked if they served food, and were given a menu, told a waitress would take our order at the table. Some time went by, we were eventually noticed and ordered beers, the waitress was unsure what beers were available, so the waitress brought back a beer menu. When the beers came, we gave our meal order, and then waited and waited.... and waited. Oh, she told us, theres a delay in the kitchen... After an hour, we told her wed just pay for the beers and leave, forget the food. Our waitress disappeared again, so we went to the bar to pay, at which time another waitress turned up with our meals. And with a doorman hovering... She told us that they were more of a bar than a restaurant, and so we shouldnt be upset that it took so long to get a meal. And that they were busy. We pointed out that the place had been quiet and full of empty tables when we arrived. After some wrangling, she said theyd give us a staff discount on the meals, which were not exactly great bar meals. 10%. For a barely adequate meal, poor service and a long wait. Im local to this bar. First and last visit. Definitely do not recommend. Poor customer service, poor complaint resolution skills. No manager visited us to explain. If you cant serve meals, or dont want to, then tell the customer up front, "We dont like to make the items on our menu".

Not bad, but not great either. Open style bar, with lots of free bar games (major plus). Decent music on the weekends. Beer and food is mostly overpriced, but they do have good crawfish during the spring. Can be a "locals" hangout during the week, so make sure not to sit in the wrong seat, haha (Im only half joking).

Its a nice place nothing frilly, neighborhood bar. Being a minority myself I have never experienced any type of animosity at this establishment. it is not a downtown or woodlands type of place. the people r genuine, once u get to know them u will know what I am talking about

This my favorite place to go! Great place to listen to live music & socialize with friends. There are games to be played & a dance floor for those that love dancing or those that have had one too many! Ive been going there for years!

Great place. Ive been here 2 times already and is a great place to meet friends and meet new friends. Plus its a great bar that brings in good concerts and pretty women. Good times, cold beer,and nice scenery.

One of our favorite bars around, but had a credit card fraud issue with my tab last weekend. Visa confirmed it happened to others that night as well. At the very least, if it happens again we wont be back.

Its inside/outside-ish with lots of smoking everywhere. Its basically a covered structure with half walls, so it can get a bit cold in the winter and a bit hot in the summer.
