If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Here was my first and last experience at this location: The location closes at 10, and I live less than 1.5 mi from where it is. I placed an order and finalized it online at 8:20pm, and it stated that it would be ready at 8:40pm. Great. I ordered the Roasted Salmon with Dill Sauce, which was described to come with rice provençal, and "fresh roasted" asparagus. I added a side of broccoli and a cup of the bean soup and was set to go. Wonderful. I left my home a short while later and and arrived at 8:38pm. The lady at the register brought up my order and asked about the side of broccoli, saying that it came up as a replacement side for the asparagus. I told her that I wanted it in addition to the asparagus, and she okayed that and told my total. A young gentleman who was getting my other together asked me if I wanted rice with it since he asserted that I got broccoli instead, and I answered yeah, mentioning that I was under the impression that it came with the dish, and that I ordered a side of broccoli. He mentioned the extra charge on the register screen, of which I could not see myself, and said that hed get the rice together for me, that theyd have to heat it up. I said alright, thanked him, and waited patiently after paying my $17, thinking it wouldnt be that long of a wait. Well, he came back and said that they were out of dill sauce... at this point, Im a little annoyed, mind you, Im a fairly patient person, but I couldnt help but consider how ridiculous this situation is becoming. I asked what other sauces they have, and he said there was a pesto sauce.. that again, hed have to heat up. I didnt want a dry filet of salmon, so I said ok, having paid and everything, and sat down to wait even longer. A little after 9, my food comes, and I head out the door. Before getting in my car to go home, I checked my bag only to find that---yep, you guessed it, my asparagus was missing. I go back in and wait for another 10 min for them to get it, or rather, I find out later, microwave zap it along with the rest of my god-awful food--after sorting through the confusion that they were under the impression that I subbed it out for broccoli (which was 100% overcooked with ZERO seasoning). The salmon was overcooked and tough, warmed with a microwave, and the asparagus which was BROWN was wrapped in a foil pack with a little "Sat" sticker on it, referencing two days prior (today is Monday!!) Fresh vegetables my ass! On top of that, it carried a rancid odor that spoke to how old it really was. Long story short: BAD communication, SLOW service, HORRIFICALLY AWFUL food. I dont know how this place got 4 stars, but this will absolutely be the last time I go here, or at least to this location. Shouldve gone to Chick-fil-A for dinner instead. Ugh.

The guy who took my order and the cashier were both unfriendly. The order taker almost seemed socially inept to be in customer service. Very sloppy food presentation, soup running down the side of the cup and spilling onto my plate. Same with pasta salad. The cashier gave me my total before I even got to the register and I had to ask her if I ordered my drink there or somewhere else since nothing was offered. I asked her if something could be done about the soup all over the cup and plate, like could it be wiped off, she gave me a saucer. Finally once seated a server came around and asked if I needed anything. I asked for extra salad dressing. She never brought it, but passed by me smiling two more times after that. The pasta salad was bland. I havent been to la Madeline in years and definitely wont be heading back anytime soon.

I arrived at the Madeline bc my son and husband wanted a chocolate slice of cake with a lemon tart so I made my oder I payed and the guy there tonight he was hot stuff so I was waiting on my stuff so this other lady ask for a tart and she paid after me they gave her her stuff first I was shocked bc I was waiting for my stuff for like 5 min so then this other lady picks up her oder and I was just waiting there like a idiot and the guys there were just talking I have to say poor costumer service the cake was about 2 days old dry and clumpy I didnt enjoy it it was a bad experience for me and is very sad bc I love the Madeline the employees just act like if they are at home chilling like what is this you come here to work and get paid not to socialize and keep track of your friendship when you have costumers .

This place used to be really great. The food and service and overall atmosphere created by the employees was what made this la madeleine so great to be at. Unfortunately the care and customer service has gone down a lot. I went there a few weeks ago and the employees in general seemed unhappy, unfriendly and incompetent. The place was not clean and you could see them just smear a dirty wet towel over the tables to wipe them up. Given all these things it is not surprising that they forgot part of my order and acted inconvenienced when I walked up to the line to politely request it. I didnt mind the prices when the service was good. Food is still okay. Go spend your dollars somewhere worth it.

There is only so much you can expect from a chain because the menu is consistent with all the other locations. So its important to focus on service and cleanliness. Here, I cant say I endorse either. Its always a mess every time I come it. And when you touch a lot of surfaces, it has that "sticky" feel which is never good. The people who work here are basically kids who dont know what they are doing. They dont seem to care what state the restaurant is in, busy or slow. Food is still overpriced for a chain restaurant. Only decent deal is the sandwich/soup combo. Pastries are almost worth it.

Its a very cute place. We ordered at the counter from an indifferent attendant. We received our oatmeal right away and we received a number for our omelets and cappuccinos. The oatmeal wasnt hot enough to melt butter but it had a good taste. The omelet came out pretty fast but we had to go back to the counter to ask for our cappuccinos.

"Recommend? YES! Atmosphere is friendly, welcoming, relaxing. French I ordered Spinach and bacon salad with balsamic chicken (regular) for $8.99. I wanted a low calorie and fresh salad UPDATE: It was delicious!! Service is clean, friendly. The lady making my salad seemed a little frazzled. I came here 05/31/2016, around 12:00 PM."

I like this place. Nice atmosphere and cheap food. You order and then seat yourself, so you save money on tips. The chicken partisan was bomb, the side pasta not so much (served as a cold pasta). This is the type of place Id take my grandma for lunch. Ill be back whenever I drive buy again.
