Great food! The Fra Diablo was spicier than I expected, but to my liking. The chicken marsala was "the butteriest, richest marsala" my boyfriend had ever had. I dont usually care for marsala too much, but I am definitely getting it next time. The chicken alone was plump and moist enough to envy, and I was enjoying my dish. We split a bottle of cabernet, which we enjoyed, and we started the meal of with bruschetta, which was very good. The service was decent, but its no fine dining experience. The server forgot the garlic knots (BLASPHEMER!), and the wine service was amateur, but honestly, it wasnt at all bad. Ive worked in fine dining, so I can be a little critical of the small things, but Im also not about to take such small discretions out of the tip. The server was pleasant and helpful, and that was all I needed. Overall, Im sure well be back. The food is great, the price is worth it, the service is decent, and the atmosphere is all right. The atmosphere is pretty basic for an Italian restaurant on the cheaper side. But on that note, the food quality is damn good for the price! Edit: Im back again! Tonight, the service was ok point! We ordered a bottle of wine after a couple of tastings and had the fried cheese appetizer. As you can see from the photos, the cheese is the good stuff! We ordered the chicken marsala again and were not disappointed. Taking a suggestion from another review, we tried the mixed beef and cheese ravioli alfredo. It was heavy, but divine! Upped my review to five stars. I couldnt add another review. I guess Ive never tried to on Google before. Idk if it allows more than one review.

Live around corner from this place. Actually go to the dentist that is next to it for 3 years now. Very disappointed that this is the first time Ive tried this place. Waiter was very prompt and always around (could use a little personality) but his service was impeccable. We ordered both of the two specials, wife went with salmon and I had a red pepper cream sauce with Italian sausage. Both were suberb. Usually avoid ordering fish because I can cook it better at home, but can honestly say I would be hard pressed to match. With a spinach and Parmesan dip appetizer, just water, we hit $45. But both items were on the higher side of menu. Many good looking choices for 10-14dollars. Also enjoyed the ambience. Go to Carrabas a lot (wife favorite), but always as loud. Much more intimate here. (and better food and Prices)

My wife and I have been to this place several times. Its a neat little cafe. I like the Edison-style lights and the New York/Little Italy pictures on the wall. The staff is very pleasent. They seem to have perfect timing, coming by tables right when you need something, but not disturbing your meal every few minutes. The cannelloni is my favorite. (It takes a long time to cool, but somehow the wait makes it better) I also really like ravioli and lasagna. My wife adores their crespolinni, and refuses to try anything else. The appatizers are great (and half off most Wednesdays). I dont care for their cappuccino or cannoli. To be fair, Ive visited Rome twice, and am a bit of a cannoli snob. The entrées are enough to deserve a 5 star rating and keep me coming back.

I cannot begin to describe how great the food was here. There was pretty much no room because all the tables were full and I can see why! The bread knots are crunchy on the outside but soft and flakey like a croissant in the middle with the perfect amount of herbs. Im assuming they make their mozzarella in house for the tomato caprese because of the texture and flavor is unlike any Ive ever had. If you go, spend the extra 2$ for the alfredo sauce, I promise its worth it. All in all my wife and I only spent $28 (We did not purchase alcohol or desert). Im looking forward to the next visit at my new favorite restaurant.

The best Italian in Spring. Everything here is delicious and fresh. The place is also very nice. It gives off a relaxed vibe that makes you feel comfotable. Its a nice place where you can go on a date a little dressed up but something about the place is really comforting and its also a good place to run into with you shorts and a tank top. The price is very reasonable. I find myself spending more at an olive garden for mediocre food. The price is incredible for how good the food is. Give the place a try, you will not regret it.

First the wife and I were in love with the place early on. Then all our family and their friends, etc.. We have now have years happily supporting to this location for years for darn good reason theyre the best Northside restaurant of its kind. Service and food are terrific. The menu is not gigantic and that is always a good thing so everything is fresh. My favorite is the marsala (veal or chicken). Its wine sauce is terrific and I love the mushrooms. Treat yourself to this little gem!

The food is always delicious, and the wait staff friendly. We recently catered lunch for a 50+ person party. The Italian Cafe was quick to reply to my inquiry, very helpful in determining the menu that would be ideal for my party, and the food was outstanding. So many people came up to me asking where I had catered the food from because it was so good. Thank you for the great food and awesome service. I will most definitely continue to be a loyal customer!

While a little off the beaten path, this is a gem of a restaurant. First, the prices are fabulous in relation to the serving size, and definitely better than any of the local competitors. The food is consistent and good and the special dishes tend to be on the awesome side. Best dishes? Calamari & Osso Bucco. The lasagne rates highly too! Have not found a dish I dont like.

Great little place! This restaurant is hidden away, but the service is great, the staff are all very friendly and the food is excellent! The dishes and pizza weve tried have all been very good. One unique item is the bread basket. The small rolls are kneaded and twisted, like a knot, then buttered, seasoned and generously sprinkled with grated cheese. Rich and very tasty!

Me and the Hubs love coming here and absolutely adore almost everything on the menu. Its well priced, especially considering it seemed like a hole in the wall when we were first looking at coming here. We havent regretted it since! We try to come at least once every two months and its a favorite date place when we want authentic Italian. The free Garlic Knots are the best!

Food is incredible but the portions have shrunk tremendously whilst the prices have not. Even the plates are smaller. The place has a nice ambiance, staff is a bit better than average, and great place for intimate night will companion(s). All in all great place. Deserves a 5 star, but I had to deduct for the portion deal.

Generous portions, moderate prices, suprisingly good food for its location. Excellent service from our waiter. Loved the bread they provide, we had the chicken parmazina the portions are large enough to share. We will definetly be back and highly reccomend this resturant to anyone who likes good Italian food.
