This place wasnt what I thought it was. For some reason, I thought Mandarin Cafe is going to be a Chinese food Korean style restaurant given its in K-town and theres even Korean on the menu. However, it turns out its just a Chinese restaurant in the middle of Korean town. Dont get me wrong, the food is decently good and the lunch special is your typical portion and price but I was slightly disappointed as I was hoping to get some Korean Chinese cuisine. Then again, maybe I did overlooked stuff like Jajangmyeon and Jjamppong but the menu was consist of typical Chinese American dishes. My friends and I still had a good lunch at this place but I wouldnt drive this far just to get Chinese food as theres closer locations near where I live for the same price and quality.

One of the worst restaurants Ive ever been. The taste was terrible and ingredients, especially seafood, were so old that my wife had a little stomach pain at night. • Yesterday, my wife and I ordered Noodles with vegetables and seafood (짬뽕), Noodles with vegetables and lots of seafood (삼선짬뽕), and Sweet and Sour Pork (탕수육). Even worse, a waitress might lie to me. The second menu is similar to the first one but should have more seafood. However, I found that they had same number of seafood and same taste, even though a waitress confirmed that they were different — it was impossible for me to figure out any difference between them except for their prices.

Very good food. I had the Black Pepper pork, and the pork was moist and nicely cooked in a faintly spicy sauce. Better than expected. Also excellent dumplings, pickled lotus, onions and kim chi. My companions had egg foo yung, triple delight and moo shoo pork, and all were good. This place does not look like much from the outside, but it is welcoming inside with friendly service from the Chinese lady that runs it.

Best Chinese food in the city. Amazing pan fried dumplings, and the bean paste steamed buns were fantastic. Their dumplings, buns and all noodles are actually made from scratch right there by the husband/wife team who own the place. Spicy Korean noodle soup is the most popular dish for asian regulars there it seems. Worth our monthly drive down for The Woodlands for a family feast.

Ordered delivery, beef lo mein. The noodles were mush. Veggies seemed fresh. The whole dish was overcooked I think. Was hot and tasted decent but Im going to be looking somewhere else for my Chinese delivery. Maybe Ill try going in and eating see if anythings different

First of all, they serve the food too slow. I order the food at 12:10, the food is served at 12:35 even just 2table of people and 1 togo order only. The flavor of the food is soso, fortunately, food served as hot.

Dont be scared, this place makes great food. Small and quiet, this restaurant is my go to place for tasty take-out. It also has around 15 tables for dine-in service.
