We have always received great food and great service here, but this past weekend, our server Brenda was less than happy to serve us. We felt she was pressuring us to order as fast as possible so she could flip her table and get more customers. She impatiently asked us about 5 or 6 times if we were ready to order and each time wed tell her we would need a few minutes. She didnt bring us our water until we had to remind her 10 minutes later that we never got it. Then she asked my husband in the middle of our meal if he was done with his syrup! A little taken aback, he told her he guessed he was done with it, and without a word or a smile, she removed it from our table and gave it to our neighboring table!? Incredibly rude and tacky of her!! She was too lazy to walk 10 feet to the kitchen and get another bottle of syrup, so instead she took ours and passed it along to another table to save herself a trip! We couldnt believe it. If that was the last bottle left in the whole restaraunt, (which Im SURE it wasnt), she should have politely explained that there were not enough bottles of syrup to go around and would we mind lending it to the next table, but she explained nothing as we watched her rudely pass it to the next table. She was not friendly or polite and didnt crack one smile until after we got up to leave the table, which she seemed happy about since she was getting a new table to make her tip quota. Brenda, you were very rude and unpleasant. Customer service is everything, and maybe you should learn some manners and leave your miserable, sour attitude at home. As for the rating, I will be excluding our last experience from this rating b/c one bad apple should not spoil the whole cart. Thank you to all the other wonderful servers and delicious food!

Ate here for Sunday brunch with the family, so 7 of us in total. My parents had the migas. There was a good amount of food, but my mother mentioned it was bland in taste. I had the chicken tender with soup. Honestly, the quality of the tenders was sub par for the $11 price tag. Ive had better tenders at a fast food restaurant, for half the price. My sister ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich and fries. Although she did enjoy the sandwich, she did mention that the chicken was pretty dry, so she had to drench it in sauce. The fries were ok. I do want to state that the waitress that we had was incredible. She took care of the table really well, constantly checked up with us, and provided really good insight on the menu. She noticed we substituted pork products for poultry, so when someone accidentally ordered an item with pork, she spoke up and informed us, then told us what to substitute the item for. Thats something I absolutely admire and respect. I didnt get her name but she had a cross tattoo on her right wrist.

For the price this is not fair. I usually dont post negative reviews but I had to speak my mind about this restaurant. The atmosphere when you walk in looks inviting and smells great, making you think the food is gonna be delicious, but so far it disappointing. I can get the same meal at a dennys for less price and more flavor. The potatoes are definitely the worst Ive had in a restaurant to date. They tasted like they were frozen and then thawed out. The omelette I had came with some green peppers and all of them were hard.

This Chick Loves Le Peep! Youre met with fresh breakfast smells when you open the doors at Le Peep. Not grease. Sweet syrup & pancakes, butter, coffee, bacon & sausage. Its not pretentious, very simple, small-town, middle-America diner ambiance. Everything tastes hot & fresh. When Im homesick, when I miss my Granny, when I want to meet up with family for a special celebratory breakfast/brunch, when I need some comfort food, when I dont even need a reason I eat at Le Peep.

Super Breakfast Restaurant! Sehr freundlicher, unkomplizierter Service. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist groß und Extrawünsche waren nie ein Problem. Ich freue mich immer über Frühstück bei LePeep wenn ich in Houston bin.

Visited at noon-ish on a Sunday. There was a line so there was a brief wait, but not excessive (less than 20 minutes). Lisa was a wonderful server despite the packed place. She presented us with all of our options as 2/3 of us at the table have never been there before. It was obvious the blueberries to my pancakes were added fresh -they were not mushy blue dots but actual berries! Potatoes were great and seasoned well. I would return here.

I have always loved coming here on the weekends to enjoy fresh pecan coffee on their very cozy patio right by the galleria. My partner and I regularly enjoy stuffing ourselves silly with their elevated diner breakfasts and lunches. The chicken and waffles is to die for. The Houstonian skillet is another all time favorite. Dont be discouraged by a line at the door! Just go in a do it you wont regret it.

07/02/17 This has been a safe go-to breakfast spot for me for many years. The staff is very amicable, the food is great quality. In the years Im come here, never had a problem with the food or the staff. A wait time can form from time to time, so its is not a bad idea to call ahead if youre coming with a large group.

So thankful that Le Peep was within walking distance from my hotel. We were greeted by the friendly staff with such great warmth! Our server Daisy was always attentive and kept checking back with us, if we needed anything. Cosy atmosphere! Look forward to coming back for more breakfast options!!

This is one of my beloved local eateries. They know me by name and my family. Thats how intimate this space can become. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. It brings in the crowds as it should. My only discomfort is the price hike on already expensive breakfast items.

Typical breakfast options--eggs, pancakes, tacos. This is the kind of place that has a laminated menu and a bottomless cup of coffee. I had the blueberry pancakes. They were kind of dry and didnt have many blueberries. My daughter had the french toast, and it was really good.

Loved their breakfast! They have great healthy options that come as plain as youd like- no hidden ingredients here. I was surprised at how much food you get- I had to take half of it home. It looks just like a regular diner from the inside, but their menu is not typical.

This place was wonderful! Delicious food and enchanting wait staff! Youd be lucky to get this much customer service at a 5 star restaurant. Great coffee and the roasted potatoes are to die for! Michelle was my waiter and she was such a doll! Will definitely return.

Over all great breakfast place. The food was excellent and the wait staff was great as well. My only thought was that it was a little expensive for what you got. It will easily be $12 a person here on average for what you can get much cheaper elsewhere
