I sought their services in providing a birthday dinner for my special needs son who turned 18 years old. We estimated 30-35 people.12 people showed up to the event. The restaurant charged me for the 23 people that did not show at $10 a plate. The menu choices were Curry Chicken, Jerk Chicken, Stew Chicken. Food was not seasoned well. Not all the excess food was providing to me after paying a $475.00 bill. I was missing the entire pans of Jerk Chicken, and White Rice. To top it all off they "never" provided any cake plates for me to feed the dinner guests that did show up. I had to feed the guests cake on napkins. I would never spend a penny at this place again. They should be ashamed to call themselves islanders. They took advantage of the situation.

All for supporting others businesses but no matter how good the food is the unbelievable lack of service is unacceptable. We order to go and live 15-20 minutes away giving enough time for order preparation but the past several times our order has not only been incorrect but not ready either. If I order the person taking the order should know what items are not available and not make a substitution as they feel would be good. The time it takes to order get there, wait 5 minutes to be acknowledged, wait for 5 more for them to make the order, then 5 more to correct it and argue with you on what you ordered, another 5 to ring your order up and pay. I could drive slightly further and go elsewhere.

I was asked to accompany a friend to this place because I was upset about something and when I first walked in and absorbed the ambiance I started to relax...I ordered the curry chicken and I was totally taken aback by the incredible taste...the service was excellent (bartender was so handsome and kind) and the owner was very pleasant. I will be coming back!

This place is the definition of good caribbean food . From the ox tails to the curry goat and roti. This place serves it all. They provide the best customer service and the place feels very caribbean. The owners treat you like family. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone who likes caribbean or wants to try a new kind of food .

I gave them a star , just for the place. Very nice and clean thats about it. The food is sucked, the fish , chicken smell. They are very expensive and food is not good at all. Need to get a chef who knows how to cook Caribbean cuisine. The fish was bad, rotten I dont know for how long they had it. Very disappointed in the food quality.

This is best kept secret in Houston that people need to know about! The atmosphere, the staff, and the food are all excellent! The Rum Punch and Caramel Apple Martini drinks are to die for! This is a real cool spot.
