This was our first time to Fatoush...and it will be our last! Im giving it 1 star because the food was incredibly fresh and very tasty, but these people have no inkling how to run a restaurant, nor do they seem to care either. The four of us walked in at 6:45 on a Friday evening, expecting the place to be hopping...however, we were only the third table. We now know why this was the case, Ill explain what happened. We were greeted by a friendly enough young man as we took our table, we looked over the menu and ordered drinks and appetizers. The drinks took close to 10 minutes to arrive and the appetizers another 10 or so. FYI, they had a female waitress who seemed to be totally clueless, non-caring and appeared to be stoned. We placed the order for our entrees and dug into the appetizers, we were impressed with how everything tasted. We chatted for some time and became a little restless since it took another 20 minutes for some of the food to arrive. In the meantime we refilled our own drinks because the waiter didnt come by at all. The waiter placed two of the four entrees on the table and announced that the other two would arrive in 7 minutes. The two of us without food told the other two to start eating because we didnt want their food to get cold. Well, after another 15 minutes my friend got up and asked where the other two entrees were, "I will bring it when it is ready!" was what he was told...seriously!? From my seat at the table I had a clear view of the kitchen, I saw about 5 people back there who had zero sense of urgency and seemed to be chatting more than working. Just when we decided to get up and go elsewhere (a total of 30 minutes had passed after the first 2 entrees had been delivered and eaten) our food arrived. Again, I was beyond impressed with the flavor and freshness. This place could be making tons of money because the food is awesome, if only they had a sense of urgency and actually cared about customer service.

I so wish I could give a 5 star rating, because the food was the best mediterranian our party of four had. One fella said "best ever" and I have to agree, having lived in Houston 20 years. BUT, BUT, BUT... the kitchen runs very slow. Mine and my husbands meal came out first and the other two came out more than HALF AND HOUR later! We had to refill our own glasses of tea even though only 4 tables were filled in the resturant. And ask for ice. The waiter was very friendly, but definately not in tune with what serving in a resturant takes... and I believe the fault lies with management. The resturant REALLY needs a manager who knows how to run a resturant and help them manage their time better in the kitchen, and motivate and educate the wait staff on how to take care of their patrons. We left full, loving the food. But we spent a good 20 minutes after we left, talking about whether or not the lack of proper time management and kitchen coordination made eating there again worth the drive. It was downright uncomfortable eating our meals at the prompting of our friends whom had to wait close to 45 minutes for theirs. They were actually considering canceling their meals and just paying for ours and going down the street and grabbing a hamburger. It created a lot of tension at the table, which really could have been prevented with proper planning and management. I might consider take out, but the other 3 in our party have zero intention of returning because of the experience. If you have hours to kill and want to chill in a very casual diner with a hookah for an hour before your tasty meal arrives, and are very patient without any time constraints or expectations of even minimal service, I highly recommend Fatoush. The food is amazing.

We dont go for the hookahs. We go for the food. We eat a lot of Mediterranean and Fatoush is one of our favorites. This place is a great find in the Copperfield Area. The food has always been great no matter what we order and the portions are matched for the prices. We recommend the Lentil soup if they dont already provide it as complimentary for dining in. The Gyro meat is great and I usually get some form of that. The grape leaves are great. They will be different depending upon who prepares them but theyre not bad - just different. The only time weve ever gotten bad service was on a phone order when a new employee answered the phone and then set the receiver down and never came back. I called the manager later that evening and spoke with him. He was super apologetic and Im not actually sure that particular employee is still there. As far as I can tell all the food is prepared there. And many family members appear to work there. They are the ones who provide the best service as well as some jokes. Definitely worth checking out.

Very, very disorganized. Weve eaten here a couple of times now, both takeout and dining in. When we do takeout, we call ahead of time and are always told food will take 15-20 minutes. We wait half an hour and then get going. Once we arrive, we always end up waiting upwards of an hour to get our food. Why am I waiting if you told me the food would be ready 45 minutes ago? Often, they dont have something we ordered. Not a big deal, but why couldnt you let us know that over the phone? Today half of our meal was out of stock. Actually, half the menu was missing. There are always multiple things missing or wrong with each order. To be clear, I dont think this is done out of malice - just total incompetence. The food is good, the atmosphere is OK, but the organization is so abysmal that I cant ever recommend eating here. I wont be ever again.

Great service every time I go! Fantastic food, the gyro is the best Ive ever had anywhere! I especially like the presentation of the food. They make everything look visually awesome. They have great hot tea and Turkish coffee, both served in personal kettles. I mainly go to chill and eat, but when my friends get the hookah its always pretty tasty. Good selection of flavors and you can order a hookah bowl carved out of fresh fruit, had a pineapple cut and filled with I believe cherry shisha and that was amazing! Also on Saturday nights they have a live show of Kasandra belly dancing and she is really great! Its also BYOB! Servers are always very friendly here and they stay open pretty late.

Great Greek food. Their hummus is really good, and I always get their shawarma plate. The chicken is so flavorful and tender. The service is excellent, everyone is super friendly. The decor is a mishmash of different styles, I get the feeling they just pick up art randomly. Quality control could use a little work. Last time we went, some of our pita bread was really stale and dry. Pita bread shouldnt be crispy. And I got a lemon mint drink, it was super tasty and refreshing. But there were a lot of lemon seeds in it so it was hard to drink. My boyfriend and I love this place, its our go-to when were craving Mediterranean food.
