What a wonderful home-style Italian restaurant. The owners, Ansuelo and Luci, are pros and the staff is very, very accommodating. You can order many of the menu items with different sauces -- for example, if your preference is for spicy marinara instead of creamy Italian sauce, Piccolos will make it special for you. I have gone for lunch and dinner with my wife and friends countless times and ALWAYS leave satisfied. It is a great hideaway for a quiet romantic meal instead of the noisy locales around town. Their wine list is also wonderful and wont break the bank like some places do. Try it -- Ill bet youll go back !!!

I stumbled upon this place driving around looking for food on my lunch break. The restaurant was small and nice appointed. The server/owner? was very nice and prompt with the food despite having 4 table to take care of. I had the lasagna which was very good. Authentic is guess since my palette has been tainted with Olive Garden for so many years. Portion wasnt huge like you find at chain restaurants on today. I recommend this place and will be eating here again.

This place is incredible. You would never think youd find a gem in this small plaza off of Westheimer near Eldridge, but the hunt is worth ever bit of it. The food is delicious, fresh, and portioned nicely. The service is fantastic and you get a true sense of a mom and pop style restaurant with the pleasant atmosphere of being in a tranquil italian restaurant. 100% worth checking out, youll love it.

Our family of 4 went here for dinner on a Wednesday evening. It truly is a diamond in the rough. The salmon was to die for as well as the bread and the desserts. Everything was great.....beyond our expectations by far. The staff were attentive, kind and obviously managed by an authentic Italian family. Thumbs up here. Environment fair and bring your sweater....it can be chilly there.

This is that mom and pop place that you want to go find, where they always treat you well, food is great and you are not just a number to be seated. It is great to find a place like this that takes pride in their food and service and such a wonderful alternative to all the chain places that just want you in and out. Highly recommend this place, and garlic bread amazing!!!

I absolutely loved this restaurant. We found this adorable little place by happenstance; we dont live in the area. The atmosphere was relaxing. The food was a taste I miss. It truly brought me back to days with my grandmother who I immigrated from Italy. If you are looking for an authentic, warm, family owned restaurant, this is the place to be.

I dont want to damn this place with faint praise. I like Piccolo. It is a great lunch spot if youre in the area, or nice to stop for a tasty and reasonably priced dinner. Good Italian American classics, and they make a tasty espresso as well. And compared to other comparably priced Italian places in the area, Piccolo is the best of the bunch.

Talk about a hidden gem here! We saw the sign for this small mom and pop restaurant while driving down Westheimer a lot and decided to give it a try. The food is superior, very flavorful and cooked to order. Atmosphere is homey and quaint and I just cannot say enough about this establishment. We are becoming regulars here.

Family style menu, straightforward Italian and very good. Tablecloths would be a nice addition. Patrons of Olive Garden up the road would be much better off coming here rather than opting for the Chef Boyardee version of "Italian" food. Prices are very reasonable at Piccolos as well.

Great small family style Italian restaurant. They make their own pasta and sauces and have a large display of wines. Their dishes are the right portion and service is quick, and they will correct their mistakes if they make any.

Wonderful food. My husband had the lasagna, which was comparable to what we ate in Italy! I ate the Fettuccine Carbanara, which was very creamy and delicious! Tiramisu is amazing too!
