Well I did couple reviews before. I used to visit every two weeks now I feel visiting once in a month even too much. Their other items is way too expensive when you add the drinks, fries etc. Prepare to pay 20 buck per person. They need to seriously limit each meal to a maximum of $13 ($13 for iskender, $11 for doner plate). I better spend time in a fancy restaurant. They used to have generous amount of meat in Doner plate and now they reduced the amount of meat to keep price at $13. Even you eat it, you will get bored eating gyro each time . What they need to do is to introduce pide and lahmajun kabob at modest prices (no more than $10 for ground beef pide, $12 for meat pide and $5 for lahmajun), and also offer pizza varieties(like the one with beef) as an alternative. It would be a perfect place.. Otherwise you are limited to gyro fans. These brothers just want to become rich so quick as Nazifs trying (charging 9 bucks for a lahmacun while the real price would have to be no more than $5). Also get rid of those stupid chairs- they are too short even I am a tall person

This is doner place that runs out of meat in middle of prime time (ok life happens) but yet they dont tell customers until they order. Me and my wife, 2 kids, stopped by last day of Ramadan, 6/24/2017, to break the fast..Instead of them telling ppl in line that they ran out of meat, we had to wait in line 20min to find it out. ok then fine we ordered chicken.. well, they also didn t tell us that weare going to get our food an hour later..They knew we were fasting and didnt show any decency or courtesy to give us anything to break our fast. After 15 minutes, we had to buy their sweet to break our fast..very nice.. then had to wait another 45 minutes to get our food..what a great way to end the Ramadan.. and we were not alone, there were other families in same situation.. food is also over-priced.. i will tell the story everyone i know, i hope they get their acts together..

First of all this a great place in terms of construction inside is very clean, nice and heartwarming! Mile down from my house! Food is good and fairly priced! Few Russian speaking girls provides good customer service! Well they bring u food and u have to get forks and napkings from station! The only problem is the lady behind the register is rude! Never smiles and I came last time with my wife and wasnt happy about it! She looks angry , suffering or in pain or smth! That was weird! If u do not train smbdy or pay em right thats ur problem! I repent dining there last time but still being nice giving u 4 stars in order to improve these cuz ,in fact ,it was 2 stars!

Disappointed I know that food never looks like the pictures on the menu....but this was beyond horrible. My husband and I had a chicken and a classic doner footlong, and we got a stamp of meat, we couldnt even taste the meat. Worst part of all, the food is definitely overpriced...we had 2 footlongs, 2 fries and two fountain drinks for 31.39. The only good things that I can say about this place is that its a nice looking place and the menu pictures make you want to try everything on the menu....if only the food could have been this nice. Let me put it like this, you get more meat on a McDonalds burger....even if its questionable lol

Finally some FRESH and Good Halal food. This is my new spot for both dinner and lunch. Will definitely tell everyone I know about this Turkish restaurant. It is perfectly priced! especially for a college student on a budget and away from home. You must get the Lentil soup, always served hot and fresh. The layout of the place is very modern and open air feeling and extremely well taken care of as well as the bathroom, very cool design. And to top it all off, the close until 10 pm, everyday which is a very rare sighting for good Houston restaurants. Thumbs up to Crisp Doner, you have a customer for life.

This is the same place that had an awesome food truck at the UH campus. They have been open at this location for a couple weeks now. Very open and clean restaurant. Play area for the kids. The döner with rice and salad (number 1 and 2 on the menu) or in a wrap was great. The fries were good, but a little too crispy for my taste. Very friendly staff that really took care of us. I liked the beef/lamb a little better than the chicken, but both were very good. Very thinly sliced which I like. Check this place out for something different. Nothing quite like this on this side of town.

Horrible experience. They waited 15 minutes while people were in line then told us the credit card machine does not work. Instead of offering us a complimentary first time meal on our first visit to this restaurant, they decided to just tell us they could not help us at all. Typical middle eastern service. We will not ever attempt to go back. Horrible seating and the people I did see there were throwing out most of their food. Should be 0 stars for the inconvenience and lack of service. This place took almost two years to be constructed and they can not even process a credit card.

We came down from Lubbock to have a little holiday and as usual, we tested more/new Turkish restaurants in town. It is a great place with real kebap meat. I loved it. I think the meat was slightly dry but I cant judge with one visit. I believe it should be a bit more juicy if you will. But overall the seating is great, the service is friendly and extremely fast, the food is delicious. Great job guys. Pretty much what youd get in Turkey, maybe even more. Oh, how do I know? Im from Turkey. :) Highly recommended.

Slow service! Hamburger and tacos should not take half an hour to make. The items for my husband and myself came out quickly but the kids dinner took forever that we took it to go. The manager apologized and said that it takes longer if its coming from the back of the kitchen something like that. All I can say is hire more people for the back of the kitchen. I wanna go there again but Im scared that we will be waiting for eternity again.

6/22/2017. Arrived at 8:20pm. Waited in line and gave order for 2 persons at 8:30pm. One order arrived 9:30pm. We eventually cancelled the other order at 9:45pm. Got a refund for that order. Staff friendly though. Update: Manager came to apologize. She said there was a party early on and thats why the orders were very late. One star increase. They also brought us free dessert. That deserves one more star increase.

This is my 2nd review. The prices are still expensive. $16 for Alexander (Iskender) kabab, $3 for yogurt drink. an easy $20 for a fast food. The chairs are really bad, washbasin in restroom is filthy. They reduced the amount of meat, I can barely satisfy my hunger. They also bring burned pitas each time..It is also ridicilious to ask for tip when it is self serve (I order myself, I get my fork etc).
