We had made a birthday reservation for my son and made payment in order to keep 2 tables for our party at the restaurant. We came in 1 hour early before the time that we made the reservation but we were sitting outside the restaurant and waiting for our guests to come.We came into the restaurand our 2 tables were given to other customers with no reservation. We had to sit in the middle of the restaurant with so many people around us. We did not have a good time for our son birthday party at all. Food is ok and it does not worth it for us to pay over $250 per table with 20% tip and we have to sit in the middle of restaurant around so many people. If anyone wants to make any reservation remember do not pay in front to keep your table because they never keep their promise and the food is very expensive if you compare to other restaurant in Houston. Never pay up front for your reservation there. There are many Chinese restaurants in Houston with very $ and very good and decious food. We never come back there again

On a recent visit in December, a large group of us got to sample quite a few dishes and found both the flavor of the food and the ambience to be top notch. We had a great time, seated at a large table with a fully operational lazy susan for spinning the plates around for everyone. Standouts, and house specialties of sorts. Flat noodle dishes. Salt pork ribs. Etc. On a recent revisit, February 2016, we tried out even more dishes including a salt crispy fish which was a little on the greasy side but still able to get big thumbs up from us. This is a great restaurant for just walking around, checking out what others have ordered, and basing your order on something that looks delicious that you see at another table.

Food is authentic and delicious. Ive tried almost everything on the menu and love it all. Prices are great, especially during lunch. Service is excellent...unlike most of the restaurants in Chinatown. The waitstaff are very attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. They never let your drinks become empty. They are quick to remove dirty plates. Ive had my wedding reception here. Ive had a Christmas party here. I was never charged for tip upfront, and my reservations were honored. I dont know what the other user is talking about. Restrooms are clean...unlike many restaurants in Chinatown. This restaurant is a family favorite...dependable, reasonable, and quite satisfying. YUM.

They have perfected the duck flap bun. The duck skin is a totally rendered shard of crispness attached to a sliver of duck meat. As is traditional we had the duck two-ways with the remaining meat served in an accompanying soup with Chinese cabbage. The beef in the beef hot pot is Asian style with a lot of gelatinized cartilage and fat rendered into a rich gravy. Fried calimari were tender and spicy with chiles more typical of the Vietnamese style. The tang of the mayonnaise dressing on the walnut shrimp helped to offset the heaviness of the fried dishes.

The interior of the restaurant is nice and the location is convenient, tucked in the corner of the larger shopping complex. However, when I went, four or five things were scratched off the menu and I was told another few were no longer being served. The food is authentic but the waitstaff arent very helpful if you want to make a substitution or change a sauce/seasoning, etc. Based on my experience, in an area with many Asian restaurants, this one had only mediocre food and wouldnt be worth going to again.

Sometimes hard to find parking due to the busy plaza. Service is always great here and you feel welcomed. I usually come here for family dinners for holidays. This place is open on major holidays so thats awesome. Food here is amazing, and the peking duck is great! Also very clean restaurant and always smells so nice!

Visited Chinese New Years eve. Food is authentic and good, except for the Beijing Cao Ya (Peking duck). Very small serving with bread instead of the ultra-thin pancakes that are standard for this dish. That was disappointing, too bready, no flavor. But clams in black bean sauce and stir-fried veggies were great.

We ordered the family set for 10 people. The food was okay. Portions were decent but definitely had better tasting dishes elsewhere. Customer service was fast and helpful though they have some communication barrier when it comes to communicating with english speaking customers. Prices are kinda high too.

This is a Chinese restaurant that reminds me of the traditional way to eat Chinese. The atmosphere is clean and food is good too. I suggest the veggie fried rice since I am a vegetarian. Bring your family or friends and try the menu. The staff is great and could recommend dishes to try.

This is by far the best authentic Chinese restaurant in Houston. The service is exceptional and the food excellent. I would urge anyone who is familiar with authentic asian cooking to eat here. Bring your own beer and wine and try the jellyfish, house beef, and calamari to name a few>

Great atmosphere. Staff speak both mandarin and cantonese though Id say that the food leans more Cantonese. Nevertheless their non-Cantonese food like szechuanese food is excellent and had the right amount of heat.

We got first class treatment here. Huge portions of food for a good price. The ice cream desert came served in ornamental dishes. The coconut ice cream was served in a coconut shell. Really beautiful restaurant.

Food was great. Ambience - not so much. Typical Chinese restaurant. If youre looking for Duck, this is the place to go. Sadly Im not a big duck eater. But overall a nice lil restaurant in China town.

Treated me well and didnt try and rush when I showed up 15 minutes til closing. They personally put your food in to-go containers and the food has a taste not found in most Chinese restaurants.

My brother recommended this place to me. My wife and I had a lunch there. I like it very much. Food is delicious, especially that Shi Ban fish stew. The waitstaff was nice. We will come again.

We went there for lunch yesterday. The service is above average comparing to other restaurant in Chinatown. Dishes were good too. We like princess chicken and Hongkong style fish fillet.

Everything was just too salty, you can also taste the huge amounts of MSG being dumped in your food. Service was pretty good and the whole restaurant is very clean.
