I have eaten here many times but did get sick on my last visit a couple of months ago. However, the main reason for this review is to inform patrons of the owners continued lack of fire code compliance; mainly blocking direct access to the rear fire exit door. Before their re-building after a fire a year or so ago I happened to be a patron at the very time of the fire. No employee or owner felt the need to inform the guests of the danger of the existing fire that was not obvious in the dining room. I exited the facility as did others when we saw staff running to the exit doors and after seeing smoke outside. Knowing there was no immenent threat to the dining room I returned to retrieve my glasses and noticed a patron reading a book, oblivious to what was happening and not realizing no one remained but her. I informed her of the danger and we left. The owners have continued to disregard fire safety regulations and you should be aware of this. The staff even have to turn sideways to get to the water because of the large rack of glassware in front of the aisle to the exit door, which is sometimes blocked by cleaning equipment and has a broom or mop on the floor propping the exit door open. Why? I dont know (cigarette breaks or ventilation). P.S. Their egg rolls leave a lot to be desired, most of their food is bland (its the only Chinese restaurant I have visited I had to add salt to the dishes), but their brownies are terrific.

I have been eating at this restaurant for 20 plus years and as of late they have decided to dabble in delivering their food. Great idea.....poor execution...Let me explain. I can handle the $3.00 delivery charge along with the over an hour wait and what chaps my Ass is calling them and getting the "He left 5 minutes ago" speech. This place is only 4 miles from where I work and what they didnt bother to tell me is he had a lot of deliveries. When he finally arrives 30 minutes later the food was cold, soggy, and tasteless. Calling the restaurant to voice your concern/complaint was useless and pissed me off even more. One of the women there told me....we very busy today and everyone order online. Great hire another driver, send the one out on smaller runs, or just stop delivering food all together. Beijing was king enough to offer me a discount on my next meal......I think I might have to pass and take my 20 year of business else where. Thanks but no thanks

Ill be super honest. Im one of those people who has been coming here forever! Back when it was a Buffett we had a few family get togethers in the banquet room. Needless to say I was sad when it closed down. I stop by for lunch today on a whim as I saw it was open again. Went inside and was baffled as the buffet is GONE!!! Almost left but since I was there and hungry I stayed lol. Idk why the reviews on the food are so negative as I didnt have any problem with the food. I ordered a lunch special and as you can see by the pic it was still so much food for around $7.00. I will say that I personally dont like super salty foods and I find sometimes certain Chinese take out places use way too much salt. I thought the food today was better than the buffet that used to be here. Soup was also provided but I had already ate it

This was beyond disgusting. I wouldnt even feed this crap to my enemies! The pork was beyond dried, the egg roll looked like someone vomited in them. The pudding tasted rancid. The chicken (fingers crossed it wasnt cat) tasted like it had freezer burns and was very odd in flavor, not to mention extremely dry. The service was a joke and the waitress DEMANDED a big tip and specifically said loudly to give her one! We tried telling her the food was disgusting and she told us that wasnt her problem. Needless to say Im currently at McDonalds ordering food. Its sad when McDonalds is better than the crap they had!

The Beijing of old with the buffet service is gone. I assume this has been to compete with the buffet places popping up up and down 1960. I have been coming to this place since I was in high school (I turned 25 today). I really enjoyed the old style but it seems that they are either going to strike it big eventually or slowly flicker out of existence. Food quality is still the same more or less and the owner is almost always here with a smile. It is a shame that they changed their service to a family style. I see at least 1/4 of there profits if not more leaving because the lack of the buffet.

Horrible, we got there right after the lunch buffet, thinking food would be fresh for dinner buffet, I was so wrong! EVERYTHING on the buffet was old, over cooked, dry, even the fruit was bad. I settled for the wonton soup. To top it off, one of their workers sneezed right on the food TWICE! And our waiter clearly knew that we werent happy with it because our plates were full when we asked for our ticket! And what irritated me the most, she charged us for the dinner buffet anyway! WAY OVERPRICED!

Reluctant to even give a 1 star. If youre HUNGRY, this place gives very large portions. But you HAVE to be HUNGRY in order to eat what they make. The General Tso chicken was the worst Ive ever eaten. Thats the only dish i eat when going to Chinese restaurants and Ive been to over 25 different restaurants. This one ranks #25. Horrid! I went at 12 noon last Tuesday and there were 3 tables in the entire restaurant that were occupied. Good luck if you go here.

The family that owns and run this place are nice and warm specially the mother. The House fried rice is my favorite because the portions are massive and the sze chuan shrimp is my go to. I order by phone and they have my food ready from 10-15 minutes all the time and warm ready to enjoy. When you dine in they offer you a free complementary soup the sweet and sour is my #1 pick.

We ordered from them since we didnt want pizza. We were staying at the Days Inn and had it delivered, I thought the food was great. The wonton was not the traditional kind but I loved it. Their pricing was average to what you pay at any Chinese resturant, they delivered and it was only $3 extra. The portion size was enough to fill you up with leftovers. I had no complaints.

Food is not so good as it used to be before they bought back the resturant last year, the buffet is gone and theres more tables ,a kk restaurant owner sold it back and since then (last summer) theres no buffet .. that 10.50 buffet was good food..now it just seems like everything is watered down and some prices went up

More like 2 1/2 stars. Food is mediocre for the price. One can find a better deal elsewhere. Lunch special is dine in only, which is ridiculous. Fried food has bitter aftertaste from old grease. General Tsos is nearly inedible. Kung Pao is decent, but some of he vegetables didnt taste too fresh. I wont be back.
