Ive been sick... all day. I really wanted to like this place, I really did. Im sure I am partially to blame for going late at night, but I was not expecting to feel like this all Saturday. Their rolls were very creative! One had what I believe was mayo, rice and fried chicken in it. Also, there was a fruit roll which liked have strawberries and something else? I was not brave enough to try that one. I was happily surprised to see there was edamame, but only enough for half a serving. There was a sign for ramen, but I could not find any. The rolls here are standard fare... you will see Cali rolls, spicy tuna, eel, the yaa roll (this was good) and maybe 1 other tempura roll. The "heart attack" jalapeños (batterred jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and imitation crab) had some really nice kick to them. My older brother cried like a little girl, so the second star is for that entertainment and because he seemed to like the place. "Wow dude you must ate one sushi roll that I didnt eat... thats why I didnt touch that eel roll" -My Brother

Ive gone to the Arlington, Irving, and Carrollton locations somewhat frequently over the last several years, and all of them have their pros and cons. This location took all the pros and combined them in to one location. The sushi was being prepared quickly, so it was fresh and tasted great, and the hot foods were always being restocked to not get stale. They even have a little dessert cart that I hadnt seen at the other locations. All of this will keep me coming back whenever Im in the area and want sushi. The downside of this location was their customer service. The employee who rang up the check never smiled or even said a word to us. They just totaled the amount and took our money. Then, while we were waiting in line behind someone to get sushi, the employee jumped in front of us as soon as the other person was done, and then emptied out two plates of sushi that we were waiting for. I understand that this was for a to-go order, but if weve been standing there, they can wait behind us for more to come out.

I used to love this place. I would come here at least once a month and I would highly recommend it. But lately their quality of food is going down and sushi is not something you can ignore quality. I had dinner here last night and, unfortunately, I will never come back. All the rolls - including my longtime favorites - did not taste like the same. Before I would eat until I couldnt breathe because they were so good, but last night I didnt even finished what I had in the plate. My husband tried one and spit it right away because it tasted sour and that ruined his whole appetite. That without saying that one worker was doing everything wearing the same pair of gloves: answering phone, accepting payments, using the computer, PREPARING TO GO ORDERS AND MAKING SUSHI! All with the same pair of gloves, he didnt change them during all this tasks!!! Absurd!

The all-you-can-eat lunch buffet is great! I took my 11 year old son and 18 month old daughter, who both enjoyed the rolls, tempura, salad, soup and frozen yogurt. The rolls are well stocked, nicely presented and there are lots to choose from. The pineapple-mango-strawberry rolls are a nice surprise. I like that you can add your own tofu and seaweed to the miso soup, so everyone gets it the way they like it. You have to try the grilled chicken skewers! Crab stuffed tempura jalapenos are good, too. I like the bright, modern atmosphere; nice music; and large TV. The restrooms are clean and have a cool decor. If the weather is nice, there are tables and chairs outside.

I came with 3 other friends expecting to enjoy one of our favorite foods only to expect really bland sushi. There was only one selection of raw fish with no sashimi. The food tasted like it has been sitting out for hours and the miso soup didnt even taste like miso soup. Upon leaving the place I started feeling really nasty in my stomach and drank a lot of water when I got home. Now when I woke up the next morning I have never felt worse in my entire life. I spent the next to days missing work and moving my watery bowels constantly, and on top of that I got a minor inguinal hernia. I am only 20 and I dont ever want to feel this way ever again. But yea, foods bad.

Truly its ok. If Im craving sushi, Ill come here to get my fill. Its not the best sushi, but itll do. What really sets it apart is the other Japanese food they have to offer. The ramen broth is really surprisingly good and has a nice kick. You can also have tempura and katsu, and make tempura ramen. Really I give it 3 stars for the other food offerings. Their sushi has gotten a little better and they have some interesting rolls. If youre from Texas and used to texas sushi, youll like this place. If youre not texan and you hate the over use of sauce or cheese or a lot of sauce, then youll pick up on the other offerings like I did

Service was so so. One thing I really dont like is that we waited a few minutes at the reception, because the cashier was packing sushi(dont know if the boxes are for to go customers or himself ). later on, I saw him behind the sushi making area again putting sushi in a box without wearing gloves! The table and bench were not as clean as before. Good thing that food were still fresh, but the deep fried sushi are like rock; I had to be very careful not to scrap my skin off of mouth while eating it.

You dont go there for good sushi -- you go there for a lot of sushi. They definitely deliver on this! The first thing you will notice when you get there is an extreme variety in the number of different things offered. Unfortunately, a good half of them are just very slight variations on a California roll. I was happy to see that, in addition to the sushi rolls, they had the hot rolls as well as the non-sushi entree items, and even a soup bar (miso, ramen, etc).

This place is pretty okay for the price, if its wasnt so cheap it would have a pretty awful review. The sushi rolls are all practically the same, and they severely lack any actual fish. If youre in the mood to binge on some cheap, basic, sushi rolls then this place isnt so bad. I always seem to leave saddened by my choice of eating there because it definitely gives a bad name to sushi.

I will start by saying that if you want luxury sushi go somewhere else. If you want to eat as much sushi, better than what youll find in supermarkets, for under $20 this is your place. 4 stars only because the quality of the sushi can vary from day to day or depending what time you go. They also have good soup and food such as dumplings.

This place is a decent sushi buffet. It is formatted such that you can usually get in and out quickly if you are in a hurry. The fried items are decent and are best tried during the peak customer times of lunch and dinner. They offer a to go option where you pay by the 1/2 pound. They also have catering options.
