I went here for the first time on November 6th 2016. I usually go to China Cafe. But I thought I will try something different. The appearance of this place is pretty bad almost made me not want to go in. And when you get inside it got worse. The carpet was all stained with God knows what. And the high chairs they had were if not broke. Filthy. As I sit and eat dinner I can say the staff were actually very good. The girl we hhave took good care of us. As I get up to get some ice cream I notice a sign. Hand written stating ""please do not lick ice cream scoop" as I read this is think to myself why would they need a sign saying these things.? After thinking this I look at the girl in front of me scooping her ice cream put the scoop into her mouth and than scoop at the ice cream. Ill repeat this. She put the scoop into her mouth. I told the staff at the counter and sat back down. I will not be going back.

Horrible! Will not be back! Server was friendly and attentive and wide selection of items to choose from. That is the ONLY positive thing I have to say. And that is why and only why they got 2 stars. All of my entree items were cold and I mean like cold as if they had been sitting on my plate for an hour. And this was from 3 different buffet tables. Shrimp, chicken, beef all cold. When we told the server she brought the incompetent manager over to the table. This person kept touching the inside of this COLD chicken saying inside is hot not cold and argued even though I showed her steam from my HOT bowl of soup (the only hot item in this friggin place) and told her this is hot and held the chicken and said this is not. She still argued and we had to pay full price. And to top off guess who got sick shortly after eating there? Yes we did. And I dont even wanna go there on the nasty carpet.

My family got food poisoning from this place. Not exaggerating. If I could rate it with not stars I would in a heart beat! The egg rolls were tough and chewy, pot stickers so stale it cut my gums, the sweet and sour sauce was chunky, the rice was the best thing until I found a hair in my food. Needless to say we gave up and quit eating. This is the first bad review I have ever left anywhere! Normally I let things slide and ask for fresher food, no big deal. Until They informed me that they couldnt put fresher cooked food out until the majority of it was gone?!?! ( so what happens if no one eats it all day, until night time? It just sits there!) This was 3 days ago and everyone is still vomiting with diarrhea. I know its a buffet and you get what you pay for. But 38.72 for two adults and one child for some food poisoning? Will not be going here again and suggest everyone do the same.

Took my wife, daughter, and mother in law for wifes birthday. Everything was tasting okay untill I saw a hair on my plate..Im semi use to it so I put it to the side and made another plate...towards the end of my mother in laws 1st plate she found 2 long strands of hair on her broccoli. Waved waitress over and told her. All she could say is "I make broccoli, this not my hair" I told her Id atleast like a discount or free one of our meals but ended up charging 100% of food.which was about $33...asked to speak to manager said Noone was there to talk to me but her and 2 other waiters/waitresses..also while stepping out the door waitress asked for tip after we werent happy...I left her a penny. (I feel bad for that action but even then I think it was too much) Not very happy. Called to complain. And lady couldnt understand me over the phone. Id rather go to the buffer off 35 and 288

We were on our way home from New Orleans and my uncle wanted Chinese and this restaurant happened to be the closest thing when passing through Denton. Cant say I enjoyed it. The fried rice didnt have much flavor pretty much just steamed rice tossed with some soy sauce and frozen carrots and peas, I wanted noodles from the hibachi but there was no one there even though they had it opened. Lo mein was alright, I grabbed salad before trying anything else and they had not refilled the croutons, needless to say that my salad was very bland. The Spicy Chicken was probably the only thing that I really enjoyed. My aunt said the sushi was pretty good. Our waitress did not check on us but maybe once and the restaurant was not even full. Overall I could say that my experience was not the best, I have been to several Asian buffets and enjoyed them, but not this one.

Son ate pizza there after a couple of bites was tasting rotten we told the staff it took 30 mins to get new pizza and son left with out eating with whole family. Son called in keep in mind he is 13 years old he told them he was getting sick guy said they had no manager and laughed at son and hung up on him wish we would of not paid cash because I would put a stop payment on card. Thats why our business need to be american owned maybe we would care about customers. I will be calling OSHA tomorrow

Just to let you know that me and my sister will not be returning to this place, because the staff was rude to us! We simply sat down for water only, and we was there on the Wifi for a little bit. We didnt buy any food ,and when we left the lady called us back, telling us to pay them $16.87! I just could not believe that! We were treated quite badly so you know what, we wont be back, because we are taking our business elsewhere! Why go to a restaurant where you dont feel welcomed?

Ive eaten there twice and was very impresssed with the wide selection of foods in the buffet area. But what really made me love the place is the sushi bar and the raw bar, where you load your plate with all the raw things you want and then hand your plate to a chef standing at a round grill, who will then stir fry your custom dish while you watch. Scoop your food on to a clean plate and hand it back to you. The wait staff is very prompt and check on you often. Excellent!

The selection is great. I went with my best Chinese friend and he said it is the closest to tasting like real traditional Chinese food then other places in Denton. They even have American trash food for the people who are picky with new dishes. Oh yeah Chinese (or at least Asian) People work there unlike Oriental Express (where all the employees are Mexican or some form of Latin American....Really) on Ave. C so you know its the real deal.
