Expect to pay around $7 for a individual combo, and about $20 - $25 for most family meals. Chicken is moist and has good flavor, portions are decent for the price but nothing Id call generous. But the reason I give them the high marks is the customer service I just saw. A guy had gotten the wrong meal (maybe he ordered it incorrectly, but Im not sure what happened). He had gone home, realized that he had the wrong meal and returned to purchase the correct meal. This guy was going to give away the previous meal to someone in the lobby, but the employees realized that there was a potential problem with the gentlemans meal and swung into action to make it right for him immediately. This is the second time that Ive ever been to this location, so I cant say with certainty that you can usually expect this level of service but from what I saw it seemed that the employees definitely want their customers to leave happy. FYI though, the restroom needed a little TLC but wasnt terrible and the lobby was clean when I was here (see picture).

Chicken Express scarred me for life! I wanted sweet tea, and my boyfriend mentioned, "Oh, chicken express has really good sweet tea." (I just moved to Texas from Vermont). We got in line, and something told me not too do it. When I got the sweet tea, it tasted of mold and of bleach, yes I swallowed it like an idiot! and told my boyfriend to try it and he spit it out. I gave it a second try (that was stupid) and it still tasted nasty. I got sick that night from the sweet tea, and I didnt even consume that much. Lets just say, I am never trying a Chicken Express again, if their sweet tea taste like that, I cant even imagine what their food taste like!!!

Have always like the food at Chicken Express but the service is horrible. You can wait in line without so much as a comment from a single employee as why you are waiting minutes and minutes. Before moving to this location service was fast and courteous. Now it is just the opposite. You are hardly spoken to and are never given an explaination as to why you are waiting untold minutes for a simple order. Great food as long as you are not in a hurry. Oh and skip the tea... it tastes like sugar water. No tea flavor any more.

No other fried chicken comes anywhere close to this. These people have perfected the flavor, texture, and crunch for an excellent eating experience. I hope they never try to "improve" on how theyre doing it, because when you have perfection as they do, every possible change must necessarily be less than perfect. Its very easy to eat too much of this chicken, because the delightful pleasure makes it Hard to stop eating.

Shockingly bad. I NEVER review chain / fast food joints but this warranted a review. I love this place but wont ever return to this location. I picked up lunch around 1 and once open it was obvious this food was only "hot" because it had been sitting under a light. Fries were not edible. Brown and hard. My roll was black?! Like seriously?? I know you saw this when you put it in a box and still passed it out?!

Horrible restaurant, waited almost 35 minutes for our food (being the only customers in the Entire restaurant). Then, we were told our meal was accidentally given away to someone in the drive thru. We demanded a refund (we were still charged for our drinks) and went to whataburger instead, as we were leaving we could hear the "manager" telling 2 workers to stop fighting with each other. Worse place ever!

I havent beeb there since the lady came out and handed my daughter who is a SINGLE mother her chicken and because she didnt have money for a tip this heifer told her ...thanks on behalf of all the single mothers!! Can you believe that? Here is a tip heifer...find another job where you dont have to rely on tips!

This franchisee ( Grapevine, Southlake and Roanoke stores) always had the best Fast Food Chicken stores in the area. Seems that, once again, when a good restaurant with a good product/customer service expands too quickly or gets to be to large for the owner to manage, everything becomes degraded.

I would give it less than one star if I could. We just picked up 4 tiny chicken strips with two biscuits for over $8.00. The chicken was almost to hard to bite into. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. The only bright side was the biscuit was fresh. Terrible

Had a employee named Andrew that was just upset he was there one or his co-workers ask him to prepare something and screamed out no. This prior today me waiting 8 mins just for the lady got there probably do you no formal greeting they must re train or Ill continue with 2 stars

Pretty fresh food, clean areas.. Kinda quiet in the dining area, though it is lunch rush. On my receipt has the name "julia". She is extremely outgoing and greets everyone. 5 star customer service.
