Waiter was great. Service was fine. Filet Mignon? Really? Maybe since this is a phony Australian themed chain restaurant they dont know what the word filet Mignon means. Its the only cut of beef I will eat anymore as it is the least fatty and most tender. Check out the photo of the filet they advertise on tv and their menus. Then order one and hold your plate up to the menu and compare. Luckily you cant taste the picture in the menu but the live one they served me was uhhg. I got the larger filet 8 ounces. Order med well came out well done. It was the scrawniness looking filet I have ever had there and I wont get another. My sister ordered the 6 oz. it looked like a flat piece of sirloin, it tasted like sirloin and was loaded with grease and gristle more like a hamburger. Was very tough. It was NOT a filet. I finally convinced her for what we were paying to tell the waiter and send it back. Waiter agreed her filet had a little more gristle in it than they usual serve (thats because a filet doesnt have gristle sir). They brought another, exactly the same tasteless greasy grisly piece of flat tough sirloin or maybe it was skirt steak. Both her filet and mine looked like they had been sliced in 1/2 sideways and then cooked to death with a little Wesson oil maybe on the grill. Gross. My stomach feels full of grease but mine was definitely better than hers I will say, but that aint sayin much folks. I used to love the Outback. That was a long time ago. Been going downhill for a long time. The coconut shrimp is always good if u can handle fried food-we had one order as an appetizer plus a avocado crab stack. It was ok for a chain restaurant and surprised to find it on the menu but, as I said it was ok. They have a sirloin dish in brown rice with roasted veggies my other sister had and it looked very good plus she liked it. Friend had prime rib which she ate all of. Problem is its a steakhouse and if you order steak, a filet, should be their brightest star. Again. Yuck. Manager came over and brought a bowl of baked potato soup for my sister to eat whil waiting for her second sirloin filet. Or maybe it was skirt filet? She has to eat gluten free so the soup no way was. The waiter knew this but since the manager is clueless because they only step in to help wait staff when something gets sent back. Let the waiters take care of the problem first. He was doing fine. Anyway I tried the soup because Im always hungry and always trying to gain weight from good food. The potato soup didnt even look good. You could see some potatoes, cheese, bacon but the soup itself looked like greasy milky flour n water. I tasted it. It was soooooo salty I should have had a stroke or cardiac arrest. Just kidding. I dont think they were trying to kill anyone but dam. I told my sister it tasted like the Great Salt Lake. Been fine if I was a deer. Stick with the seafood and veggies. Tell them to find a new way to cook their sweet potatoes and baked potatoes. How many restaurants serve baked potatoes? I dont know of any. Outback plus Im sure a majority of establishments choose the Chernobyl Certified Microwave method to radiate their sweet and white potatoes beyond death. They look literally like they have been through a nuclear war before landing on your plate. Mush and just yuck. I guess thats why mom had coupons to go to Outback. They may go back. I wont. Sorry Outback The only Outback Ill be entering soon will be a Subaru

Ive always loved this place but after today ive decided that id never return. I always order the bloomin burger and each time before it was always PERFECT but today something seemed very off. The meat came out with an almost "watery" texture and had no flavor to it at all. I shrugged it off and ate half of the burger but then i had a severe pain in my stomach come out of nowhere. After 10 minutes i ended up finding myself in the parking lot throwing my guts up. Once the manager found out about what happened he asked if he could "take the other half of the burger and cook it up in the back". Since everyone thought that was kind of gross to offer that we declined and they ended up bringing out another bloomin burger. Now heres my opinion about that, if something makes you so sick that you vomit in the timespan of 10 minutes of ingesting it would you like "another"? I SURE DONT. We got the check back and they even charged us for the burger which we thought was completely outrageous and after some of my table members talked to the manager (i was still outside sick as a dog) they took 10 dollars off. Overall in my opinion, the waiter we had was awesome but the manager on duty totally failed in my eyes. He completely ignored us and wouldnt even give my girlfriend a to-go drink (since i was still outside sick) so itd help me feel better. In the end, for us spending $130 there for a nice mothers day dinner it turned into a disaster thanks to the unprepared food and the callous management.

We arrived at about 6:30 p.m. we were finally seated at 8 p.m. we were seated next to a large group of people with two infants and two small children. It took almost 30 minutes and then we had to flag down someone to take her order and bring us water. The food came out fairly quickly and was hot. We had ordered the sampler for an appetizer. The blooming onion petals appeared to have been cooked in the oven of Auschwitz. The mac and cheese balls were awful non-edible in texture and taste. The cheese and bacon fries was the only part of the appetizer that was edible and they were so salty it was an unpleasant experience. Once are entrees come out my wife had ordered a steak and potato she was pleased. I had ordered the steak quesadillas. The quesadillas had no flavor they had no sides that came with the quesadillas such a salad potato or anything. I did bring this to the attention of the manager when we were asked and he did remove the quesadillas from the bill. Thats the only reason I give them three stars they did try to make it right. Our biggest complaint is when you go to Outback at least when we go to Outback it is a rare occasion usually once or twice a year. This is the third visit that we have had this type of service and receive this caliber of food as much as it pains me we most likely will not come back we may try a different location but we will not come back to this one

Ate at Outback #4476 at 4902 HWY 190, at N. Garland Road. It was my Birthday dinner, which they ruined! First, I chose that because I rarely drink beer, but love Fosters on tap, and they were out of it. Comn Outback out of Fosters?!?!?! They must have a really incompetent buyer. Then they bring the food out before the salads and soup, the salads come right as the food was being served, so they were going to take the food back, and bring it after we finish our salad and soup. The same food, steaks sitting under heat lamps, Fries and baked potatoes sitting under heat lamps, so called fresh vegetables sitting under heat lamps, for at least 15 minutes or longer. We called them on that, had to get the manager to come to the table to tell them to cook us new food. But, now it was late, and they cooked my steak wrong, they flame grilled it when I ordered it to be the regular pan fried. The fries with my steak were limp, undercooked, and greasy. I only had 3 bites of my steak. Then, on top of all this, they tried to double charge us for the second set of food they cooked! This was the worst ever experience I have had at "supposedly" quality steak place. You ruined my Birthday dinner, my 55th at that.
