I work downtown and take the tunnels to Post Oak everyone once and while. The food there is quite good, though a bit heavy for lunch sometimes. They have a few really good salads though and often excellent soup specials so thats generally what I go for at lunch there. Almost everytime we go however we have a problem when it comes time to pay. Nearly every server Ive had there takes a long time to bring the check and even longer to come back for the credit cards. If you ask for the check as soon as your food arrives and hand them your CC as soon as they come back with the check you can expect to get out of there reasonably soon after finishing your meal, otherwise be prepared to wait or go hunting for your server. Normally I wouldnt mind lingering a while after a meal, if I were out a nice dinner or a leisurely lunch on the weekend but for a workday lunch, not so much. Considering the long lines to get a table by 12-12:30 Im surprised they arent in more of a hurry to turn over tables not generating anymore income...

Ive been working at downtown for 3 years now and me and a co-worker decided to give this place a try even after hearing bad reviews, well now I know why. I felt as if we werent welcomed here maybe because of the way we were dressed since we went on a Friday which is a casual day for our office. Jeans and a polo shirt, either way we are paying for the food so what difference does it make! The icing on the cake was we were made to pay on a I PAD with the damn waiter there waiting to see what tip we left him! EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE! What kind of so called high end place does this crap! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Quality food with fresh ingredients and quick service. One of the only "sit-down" restaurants with table service in the Houston Tunnel system, located beneath 1111 Louisiana St. Yesterday I ordered the New York Steak Sandwich, with sliced steak, caramelized onions, queso fresco, avocado slices, tomatoes and grilled mushrooms, with a side of fries, $12.95. Steak was prepared medium (to order), and served on a fresh roll. Very good. They also offer a large variety of entree salads; all Ive tried have been very good (hard to pick a favorite, though the Crab Cake Salad is a strong contender!)

Ive eaten here twice and both times it was amazing! The service was great and the food was delicious. The waiter stayed available and the atmosphere was beautiful. The foods presentation was extraordinary, especialy for the great price!

This place was the most delicious delectable meal I have eaten ( at a restaurant) the Mac and Cheese was sooooo Good! I got fried chicken and mash my taste buds were orgasming. Yummiest will definitely spread the word and return soon!!
