We like their barbacoa deal for $11.99, 1lb of barbacoa, tortillas and salsa, two can eat pretty good with this, the place is really small but clean, restroom is clean but awkward placed (u need to go thru their kitchen /preparing area to get to it, not very friendly or safe) the staff is always happy which is good, they have two TVs while u eat there. You cant take your own water or coffee which is bad (I drink a lot of water because a condition and to be buying bottled water from them will get expensive @$2.. I need like 4 to eat with) so after I was told 1-2 times not to bring my BIG water bottle I stopped eating there and just go for take out.. Same for my parents..they like to eat their barbacoa tacos with coffee and they dont offer coffee here.. After 1-2 times they were told not to bring their coffee.. Bye bye, they also just order to go now.. We dont go often now because of this.

Nastiest place Ive been to. The place stinks so bad like cigarette smoke, we couldnt even eat there. I googled the place, looking for good street tacos like the Shell on Miller Road, and this place came up. I ordered to go!! They got my order wrong, and there was a freaking hair in it! When I called, they did offer to make me something and pick up later, but I just couldnt do it. It was that terrible. Thanks google reviews, the people swearing it was great lied! Shell on Miller in Garland has them authentic, for $4.99 a platter. This place was $6.99, I paid for 4 and 2 cokes, wasted $43!!!! There also was a lady there when we went checking and grading their food, and saw them throw a platter away while there, I knew better!!! Shame on me, I know:(

Muy decepcionado yo fue porque este Norberto el que trabajaba en Univisión hizo un live vídeo y todo se miraba delicioso o fui y pedimos tacos de fajita y nos dieron unos tacos que eran como de carne molida si para ellos eso fajita no sé cómo tienen su negocio no soy de los que me quejo del precio pero si me gusta recibir algo bueno a cambio no lo recomiendo

Nada bueno, primero la salsa echada a perder y chips aguados, la carne muy dorada y picada y los tacos muy caros cuando deben de costar 99c. por tortillas de paquete y 1.79 por tortillas de maiz echas a mano. Y la torta nada apetecible.

These are the real deal - especially the barbacoa! For those nights that I dont feel like cooking, Ill swing by and pick up a couple of pounds of their barbacoa meat (which come with homemade corn tortillas and salsa!) and bring it home. I get treated as a hero, I tell ya! Not only is the food great, the service is even better. Its a family run/hole-in-the-wall type place, but they are so super friendly, and very accommodating even if you arent fluent in Spanish. Check this place out!

ok idk if I just ordered the wrong thing but im going to review based on my experience. I am a fan of taquerias and coming from Centex I believed it should have been better here. taquerias are suppose to be solid flavorful small restaurants. I ordered eggs and sausage breakfast thinking and guessing how awesome it would be. instead I got a plate with tasteless eggs missed with chopped hotdogs....I mean really. for 15 bucks Id rather just make that at home.

If you are coming for breakfast, I would recommend the chorizo. Definitely dont get the sausage, though - its actually hot dog. I know that a hot dog is technically a sausage, but when ordering a breakfast burrito with sausage, one doesnt expect cut up hot dog.

Friendly staff, and bilingual. Tacos and gorditas were good. Homemade tortillas, fresh beans and rice were also really good. Very reasonable prices. The food isnt extraordinary but it is really good. I would definitely recommend Monterrey Taquerias.

Overall food is very good, but they charged me corn tacos at 1.69 usd when they are supposed to cost 99c. Also we bought a Mexican candy called Gloria, and it was expired. Also, green salsa used to be better.

This is how far you have to travel from the Wylie/Murphy /Sachse area for good breakfast tacos. Yum! All they need now is some fresh orange juice and I wouldnt need to go anywhere else.
