Update: Have to admit I wasnt sure anyone would contact me. The owner contacted me and was understanding. He explained that the average wait is around 30-35 minutes as they are a fine dining restaurant not a fast food restaurant. Im raising to a three as the food is good. Ive had two types of burgers and a friend had something else, I believe a chicken fried steak burger and liked it. It is worth the trip. Terrible service, Went in for lunch sat down in a booth. Waiter came and took our drink order and said hed be back. I told him we had only 40 minutes to eat as we had to get back to work. There was a table of 8 women, two tables of two including us and one table of four that came in behind us. 10 minutes later he comes back and takes our order, re-emphasized our time frame. He said no problem but no drinks. another 10 minutes a young lady asked if we received our drinks we told her we didnt so she got them for us. 20 minutes goes by and nothing, now we have to leave. The waiter was the only one taking care of the tables and taking orders. I called the young lady and told her we had to go back to work. We had spent about 45 minutes waiting. She asked if we wanted to take it to go and I told her our lunch is over. She replied that we were the next ticket. Big deal we had to go. The waiter comes up and tells us the next time you come in and see a large table (table of 8) you might want to go to a different place. Really, 16 people in the whole restaurant, kidding me. To add insult to injury she asked for us to pay for the sweet tea. Neither of the two seemed to care, their attitude sucked and their service needs to be looked at. They might also want to consider hiring another cook. If all you can handle is a table of 8 at one time you have a problem. Ive eaten there before and the service was OK, the food is pretty good though. Really disappointed, especially we lost our lunch time!

Our family has always enjoyed Jungle Burger and the burgers are great, but I will never eat there again after todays experience! My wife went to take my 3 year old daughter to the womens restroom and it was "out of order." So, I went to take her to the mens restroom and we walked in on a high schooler. He was a bit startled but I thought that maybe he forgot to lock the door. A few minutes later the bathroom became vacant and it was our turn. I was sure to lock the door and even tested it, only to have someone barge in on my daughter while I was standing there with her. As we came out, I locked the door again and was then able to open it from the outside. No bueno. I told the owner (yes, I know its him) that his lock is broken on the mens bathroom. No lie, his exact words to me in a very frustrated posture and tone were, "Yeah, people tell us that all the time!" I couldnt believe what I just heard.????Standing there in disbelief, I stared on at him with my jaw dropped. After a few seconds of looking back at me, he shrugged his shoulders to show he didnt care and got back to work. Two minutes later, the gentleman that barged in on us came out and told the owner about the door problem. From my table, I could hear him say, "He just told me the same thing, what do you want me to do?" At that point, I realized I would never eat here again. If he doesnt care enough to go to Lowes and spend $15 on a new lock so that the very people who pay to dine their can not be barged in upon when in the restroom then, I wont dine there again.

I came here late on a Saturday night. I ordered two burgers. Both well done. I drove home and opened them up and they were both pink. I didnt even think about checking because I just assumed it would be right. Obviously, the last thing Im going to do is drive back that night. I ended up coming back 3 days later. When I came in to show them the pictures and get the order right the cook was basically telling me I ordered it wrong and that I should have come in sooner. ( 3days wasnt soon enough ?) anyway I got the food how I ordered it but not without them making me feel guilty for coming back in. The burgers were good, not amazing. The fries were unreal. Based upon customer service I dont think I will be coming back any time soon.

The food is really good, but the cook and the manager are really rude. I ordered my lunch on grub hub for pick up, and when I got there the cook was really angry that I ordered from that site. I told them I tried to call, but the phone was turned off. The cook continued to talk about while he was cooking. It took about 15 min for us to get our food and leave, no big deal. But my co-worker took a bite of her burger and pulled out a nice long hair, we called the location to let them know about the situation and the manager was really rude and told us we were lying and hung up. This place has great food, but awful customer service.

We have loved Jungle Burger for ages! It is our "go to" burger place when were in McKinney, although since the new management, the prices have increased a good amount plus the sides (fries) are about half the serving they used to be...so minus 1 star for that. The burgers are made fresh to order topped with anything you can think of, including fried eggs! They also have awesome sweet potato fries with marshmallow dipping sauce. #yum Theres all sorts of other things to choose from if youre not in the mood for burgers...chicken fried steak, Philly cheesesteak, salads, etc. Try it out, you wont be disappointed!

This place used to be a gem but after the new ownership it has gone way downhill -food is bad and the place is dirty - the prices have went up and the quality has gone down - dont fall for it when the wait staff tells you its 50 percent off appetizers becausd when they ring you out they will tell you oh thats on a different day and charge you full price anyway. Sad to say this place has lost my business when it used to be one of the best burgers in McKinney .

The inside was clean and they welcome you coming into the door, service was prompt and they made me feel comfortable. Burger prices are a little steep once you add a drink and fries but well worth it. The burger was awesome and large, the veggies were definitely fresh and the wait time for everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this place and I will be back. I would probably go with a different bun but it ed not a deal breaker.

Great place. Somewhat noisy. I stopped in for my lunch break on a Sunday, it wasnt super busy but it ate up every bit of my 45 minutes. The food was awesome. Make sure to try their sweet potato fries. Prices are reasonable for what you are getting. Not a huge dining area and practically nothing to dampen the sound. But those are the only down sides. Service and food were great.
