In every bar/restaurant in the USA there are bar staff and wait staff. Its basics. The Muppet running this show seems to think he or she can do it better. The bar staff are waiting tables. The wait staff are getting their own drinks. As a result the staff do not know what theyre doing resulting in no-one getting decent service. Couple the mediocre food with the terrible service and you get this place. If it wasnt on the lake they would not last a week.

I sat down at a table on the patio I never got waited on after about 15 minutes I went inside to the bar and ordered a draft beer. I went back to my table was never ask again if I needed anything. Everyone was very patient waiting on their food order, very slow service. Not very crowded either. The park looked awful trees down everywhere, everything looked like its under construction, grass and weeds everywhere, so sad.

Food mediocre at best. Doors open so Texas heat and smokers smoke all billoiwing in. Left our credit card at the restaurant. Called and was told the bartender would have it in the register. Got back to restaurant and no one had a clue. Said it would be at the park gate but no one could explain who or why theyd take it to the park entrance. And of course the gate didnt have it.

The food was alright, nothing to write home about, but the service was terrible. Slow to get our drinks out. Slow to get our food out. Theres a gas service station located not to far away from the outdoor deck. When the wind turns, you get basked in noxious fumes. Fortunately, they stopped fueling up boats by the time our food finally arrived.

Waited for 10 minutes and was never acknowledged. When we asked the bar tender what was taking so long, she very rudely answered that they were short and they would get to us when they could and there was nothing she could do. We got up and walked out. Never in my life had I heard such poor customer service.

This place is the bomb! Ive spent many years out here on lake Lewisville, and this is definitely the best place on the lake you can go to grab a bite to eat! The staff is warm and welcoming and the food comes out in a timely manner! If you go I HIGHLY recommend getting the turkey burger, it is to die for!!!

As a restaurant owner you have a duty to the public to properly advertise your hours of operation. I am from out of town found your restaurant on the internet and drove 25 miles only to find that youre not open today please correct your listings. Thanks for a waste of an hour of my life.!

Great location floating on the water at Lewisville Lake in Hidden Cove Park! Enjoyed the lake view and summer breezes coming off the lake. Good variety on the menu, and very good food! Be sure to visit when the live band is there on the outside patio right over the water.

Best lakeside drinks and food in quiet corner of the Lake Lewisville, TX called Hidden Cove. Beautiful nighttime views, inside and outside dining. Great location for photos of the sunset! Friendly staff and quick access to the marina!

Went here for a live music group my friends father was in, and stayed for the food. The classic bacon cheeseburger was one of the best burgers Ive ever had, the music was good, the view was amazing, and will definitely be returning.

I was not expecting much but surprisingly, the food was great. The manager even jumped into the kitchen to help out. Young wait staff could be just a little more attentive but over all it was a good experience. I will be back.

Poor Poor Poor customer service. Waited for an hour and was never even acknowledged. It seemed like the staff was there to party, not serve customers. We left after an hour of having 2 hungry girls.

What good is a bar on the water that closes at 10pm?? Showed up an 9:45pm and basically got told to leave they where closing. Friday night closed at 10? Applebees has better hours then that!!

Food was amazing. Service was horrible. Had too wait nearly an hour for refills. Watched the couple next to us get up and leave after waiting. They definitely need better trained wait staff.
