I have considered myself to be somewhat of a regular at Franks for the past year. They have a great beer selection and a grilled cheese that is to die for but after noticing several things over the last 4 months I have been turned off. There have been times that I have sat at the rail near the kitchen and experienced extreme amounts of profanity and inappropriate music blaring from the kitchen. Another day that I was at the rail a short young man (assuming was a bar back or dishwasher) was very nasty to the servers that were simply trying to place dirty glassware where it could washed. The place was very busy and the servers were swamped. As a former server in college I know how it is and the last thing you need on a busy night is a coworker treating you poorly. I came back in several days later with some friends to have a drink and saw that same man was bar tending. We sat on the patio instead to avoid him and our server out there was lovely. There is also a tall woman with long blonde hair that is there quite frequently. I have seen her talk down to her coworkers as well which is the last thing a customer wants to experience. All of the above are things that could be forgotten as there are also some wonderful people that work there. However, the most concerning was when I was walking out to my car and some of the Franks staff members were outside smoking weed. They may have thought they were being secretive about it but they were sadly mistaken. I know what it smells like, I was not born yesterday. I am not opposed to marijuana but these incidents really just prove what kind of a facility Franks really is. I am sad to say that I will no longer be a frequent flyer.

We were at Franks on Friday and had the worst service ever....Im pretty patient, but this waiter was worthless....anything we asked for there was a wait for it...And it wasnt busy!!!!!He visited more than watched his tables...Brought us an empty ketchup bottle, had to wait for drinks each time, then had to go and ask for our ticket cause he left us sitting there and he could see we were done with our food...he stood there while I tried to get money for paying...he would of not gotten a tip if I would of had the right change...not going back, but if I do I will make sure he is not the server for my table...all the girls seem to be buzzing around and paying attention to their customers...Fire his ass, hell hurt your business!!!

The first time I went to Franks the service was great I went during the bloody/Caesar special and thought it was wonderful! However, I went again recently and was not impressed. The place was so cold so my food was cold almost immediately after being served to me. Also, the bloody/Caesar buffet looked terrible and unattended. The second visit was so bad I would rather not come back again.

Its a nice place to go for a couple drinks. Food is OK have not had anything there that was either bad or great. Service has always been good though and that goes a long way. Wish happy hour specials were a little more special.

Great food, "gourmet" burgers and sandwiches, can order spicy pie (which is also next door, moderate beer selection (some craft beers) sports bar feel to it but also more upscale then a typical sports bar

Server was friendly, but the place was understaffed during the busy lunch hour. Food was okay and it took about 35 minutes to get it. Would give the place another shot if the opportunity arises.

Im so thankful to have Franks in our neighborhood! Love their lavosh, burgers and homemade chips and fries! Never have had a bad meal....atmosphere is fun and sports....Gotta love hockey!

Interesting sports bar. It can get a little loud during games, has a good atmosphere, and good finger foods. One problem I have is that the onion rings were soaking my Reuben with oil.

Decent food, there are no changing tables in either the mens or womens bathroom. You can bring kids, but it is not infant friendly.
