Our server was excellent and obviously well trained. Questions were answered and information above and beyond our questions was provided to make sure we knew what to expect before ordering...since this isnt a normal pizza place. The food was good. Definitely not the type of pizza were used to, but I really enjoyed it. The fact that they didt have normal pepperoni (had 3 kids with us) was a bummer, but the two meats we ended up choosing were delicious. The price is where they lose me. Our server suggested the Metro Margherita as it would be a better value compared to ordering 4 individual pizzas. The base price was $42. We added a meat topping to 2/3s of the pizza which costs us $8 ($4/foot). Drinks (soda) were approximately $10 (guess as price is not on website currently). Before tax, were at $60. Tax was $4.95 and tip was $13 (roughly $20%). Grand total for the evening was $77.95....for pizza and soda. Truth be told, this place was recommended by a neighbor, we just assumed "pizza place in Frisco" and headed out for a fun family dinner. We did not research the menu or prices before hand which is our fault....but....considering this bill was within $1.50 of our last visit to Texas Road House, I really feel the value of this place just isnt there. Steak & Ribs trump pizza.

I like the concept. "Real" pizza. Restaurant named after family. Family pride. I get it. I didnt like the long, boring super-pretentious monologue before you can order. I didnt like the attitude I got when I asked for a pepperoni pizza (I was accompanied by a 3 year-old). I like the ovens - 7,000 pounds of.... Sorry, I dozed off during the monologue - but they are cool. I like that the food is super fresh. The pizza was attractive, fresh, (as I was told 3 or 4 times) the only one like it for 50 miles. But in the end, it was just a pizza. Fairly well done. But sort of average. Any of the trendy pizza oven places produces the same product (Pie5, etc). In the end, its a fairly expensive, pretty average pizza. Accompanied with enough pretense to choke an entire Italian village.

Absolute best pizza in the US. We lived in Manhattan and have now offended our friends who still live there that this wood fire oven pizza is better than anything there. Much better than Grimaldis which is highly ranked as well, mostly because Grimaldis always has so much of the crust bottom burnt black which I am not fond of and overtakes the pizza taste. Testa cooks their pizzas in like 60 seconds only and it is rarely and only slightly black on small portions of the crust bottom. Pizzas arrive very quickly because the cook time is so fast!! LOVE LOVE love their pizza. We crave it couple times a week! Oh and all of their ingredients come from Italy!!!! (other than their herbs grown on the porch). :)

My son and daughter-in-law took me out to dinner at your Pizzeria on my trip from Oregon. I experienced the best pizza of my life at your Pizzeria. If I could order one of your pizzas and have it delivered in Portland, OR, I would. If you are thinking of a new location, please consider Portland for expansion. Also, I loved the arugula salad. I make the strongest request that you tell me what was in the salad dressing. When I get back to your area, you will be my first stop after picking up the son and his wife and the grand kids.

I had my engagement party here not too long ago, it was a big surprise for my fiance and we rented out the Bella Vista back room. The service was absolutely spectacular! We had a larger party of about 30 or more people yet the servers were always there to refill water, bring more ale or wine and pretty much satisfy every request. The pizza and appetizers were amazing! It is great to see how the brick ovens change the flavor of the pizza. Also they served us champagne. I would go back here many times when I am in the mood for pizza!

Loved the lunch menu. Went with my husband and my little babe and enjoyed ourselves on the patio . Pizza style is true to Naples. This is not American pizza.if you see anyone referring to "sogginess" please know that Italian pizza is made differently than American . My review on the pizza is based on my experience of living in Naples with my family for six years. Believe me the pizza is good and true to spirit .

The food here was excellent! The design of the restaurant itself is also very appealing. I went for lunch and business was pretty slow for a Saturday around lunchtime. The staff seemed a bit standoffish and it took me asking for them to seat us. The waitstaff was very efficient but aloof. I will definitely return for excellent food but hopefully next time, they will be more friendly!

My first time to write a Google+ review and I think I should also post here my review for Pizzeria Testa! My overall experience is nothing but excellent! I loved the pizza, especially how the meat and sauce were combined. It was just perfect for my taste buds, mainly because I did not eat my lunch! The food completely filled me in big time. Will definitely come back.

Great experience, awesome staff. I dont normally do reviews but this place in my book deserves one. My family sat on the patio which was nice. Our server explained the menu in full detail, normally I have to ask for that. The quality and flavor of the food by far one of the best in Frisco, I would recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks Testa

beautiful patios, nice staff . The salad had a nice vinaigrette and the pizza dough was really great, but since we want to be Italian we want quality ingredients and the olives were definitely from a can. Half way throught our pizza our server asked if we wanted the desert menu which really ruined the Italian effect of the place.

I am not a huge fan of the pizza here. The style is too "wet" for me but my wife loves it. I do like the sandwiches though. If you like tiramisu make sure to order it here as its one of the best Ive ever had! The services is usually great and weve never had to wait for a seat at lunch.

Amazing Pizza and service. Waiters are knowledgeable about Pizza and are helpful in creating a pizza to suit you. The pizza is NOT your fast food Pizza, which is wonderful. They use special flour to make the pizza and special ovens from Italy to cook it. A wonderfully tasty experience

Authentic Italian pizza very similar to what we had in Italy (maybe better). Some of the reviewers are obviously used to fast food pizza like Dominos / Papa Johns that is slathered in heart attack cheese and MSG sauce that is either thin crust crispy or Chicago thick semi-soggy.

I have to say I consider this the best place to eat in Frisco. By far the best pizza - assuming you like the Napolitano style - and a location where you can find parking. The atmosphere is very nice and your pizza will arrive in record time. I highly recommend Pizzeria Testa.
