Jenny is so so talented!!! She has an incredible reputation for a reason! Every vendor who heard she was doing our wedding cake was like “YES! She is the best!” Her cakes are huge, STUNNING, and absolutely delicious. She is so easy to work with and helped us create a totally unique wedding cake (with 4 tiers, each tier a different flavor) and cool silver foil accents to create a modern minimalist take on a wedding cake!! In our tasting/planning meeting she let us taste all of her flavors and fillings and create whatever combo we wanted. She really listened to what we were envisioning for the cake style and she totally NAILED it! I had never seen what I wanted before so I couldn’t’ just bring in a photo as an example, so I just had to describe it. She sketched a drawing right there and she totally got it!! Even better, our wedding cake tasted just as amazing as it looked – it was flavorful, moist, and so so delicious!!! The cake was delivered on time in flawless condition! She is a true professional and literally the best I have ever seen! She totally exceeded our expectations! Thank you so much Jenny!!!

I wanted a specific cake decoration for my one year olds birthday so after reading the reviews I decided to go with Jenny Lane. Biggest mistake ever!!! Im giving 1 star because the cake turned out beautiful and decorated just as I asked which is like the cake from the movie "Life as we know it". BUT it was the WORST tasting cake Ive ever had and I LOVE CAKE! It was like the consistency of cornbread and made worth some kind of pudding or custard but it was supposed to be a Vanilla cake. It was super dry and not even my 1 year old would smash into the smash cake or eat it. The only thing good was the frosting but it tasted just like store brought chocolate icing. Wish now I would have went to Tom Thumb or Walmart because Ive could have saved about $50 and received a cake that actually would have gotten eaten. I still have over half a cake sitting on my counter that no one wanted. VERY DISAPPOINTED and will never use Jenny Lane again.

My wife and I were planning our wedding. We were searching for someone that could put together the exact Cake my wife would never forget. Every bakery we spoke with acted afraid of that much fondant work. Jenny took the challenge, we werent worried about the grooms cake. Jenny absolutely smashed it out of the park! Both Cakes were absolutely spectacular and were the talk of the reception! People had four different types of Cake on their plates and said they couldnt stop eating it. I have to personally admit, I didnt get any of the Red Velvet because it disappeared so quickly. I did however try all the other types and each one was amazing. I highly recommend Jenny Layne Bakery to everyone, thank you! Italian Cream, enough said!

While planning my son Richmonds Masquerade Graduation Party from UNT ....I knew where I would get the cake. I am the owner of BJs Event Planning and Decorating many of my clients use The Jenny Layne Bakery. I fell in love with all the cake designs and the cakes always tasted amazing!!! I went to the bakery and showed a couple of pictures......and when the cake was delivered it looked absolutely fabulous!!!! Everyone loved it and it went perfect with our theme. All three flavors were so delicious. I will come to use The Jenny Layne Bakery and refer friends and clients.

Jenny Layne is the absolute BEST! Ive gone there for my last 4 cakes and every single time they blow me away. Everyone is super friendly and I love that I can give them an idea and they turn them into the most beautifully delicious cakes. You pay for what you get and Jenny Layne is SO worth it!
