We stopped in last week and I ended up eating two bites of my pie before just leaving it on the table. I was skeptical about the pies from the appearance of the pies in the case. Not very appetizing looking. Actually they looked thrown together and old. My husband insisted since we were there that we try it. I got the chocolate and there was a runny wet layer between meringue and pudding. The crust was inedible. Just gross all around. I can get past aesthetics if it tastes good, but no, this was horrible. He had the coconut and I noticed he only ate the pudding and left the rest. He agreed, it tasted bad and he will nearly eat anything. These slices were $4.50 each and honestly this place should be absolutely ashamed to serve such garbage. Owners: get on Pinterest, Allrecipes, Google, heck a teenager can put together better pies than what you all are peddling.

The pies are absolutely wonderful! They are made in view of the dining area. The Buttermilk pie is at the top of the list in Texas, and Ive been all over trying out buttermilk in many places. To me, its worth the trip from Fort Worth for a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a slice of buttermilk pie. My wife enjoys their chocolate pie and the coconut pie. The owners are very friendly and willing to make sure everythings top notch.

Stopped in town and owner, Summer, was kind enough to let us stop in despite us walking in just after close. Worth the trip and I thoroughly enjoyed the tasty Pecan pie a la mode. Summer knows how to take care of customers and delivers quality pies, sodas and treats!!

Wonderful atmosphere and great pies! The mixed berry pie with ice cream is to die for and the chess pie is awesome! They are all good. If you are in Glen Rose you need to visit them and the ice cream shop next door!

The atmosphere is nice but I had a piece of chocolate pie that was so bad we couldnt finish it. Our piece of coconut pie was just okay. Weve had a very good piece of pie there before, but not this trip.

I am a gen-u--wine Foodie, and I am in love with their buttermilk pie. I drove an hour and twenty minutes one-way for a slice or three. Im bouncing off the walls excited that theyre coming to Waco.

We had a slice of the apple pie and the berry- both wonderful. The service was very friendly and we enjoyed our stop. Please stop by if youre going through Glen Rose. We will return!

Great selection of pies. My group had 4 slices and 2 were ok the other 2 were not good. Crust seemed hard and the chocolate pie seemed to have pudding instead of homemade filling.
