UPDATE: Alright alright alright! 1. They have new flavors?! Im obsessed with the new Matcha Azuki green tea with Dulce de Leche drizzle. I swear that flavor just dominates all the others. Pair it with the Fresh Strawberry flavor and youve got a killer combo. Ive come to the conclusion that the cookie-top pastry shell is the way to go. 2. The staff are super friendly...to the point where Im a little creeped out. jk jk Hi Kelley! Once, a guy working there was so nice that he gave us an extra Cookies & Cream cream puff that he accidentally made. 3. Their coffee is pretty darn good and cheap. Their Iced Vanilla Coffee speaks to me. Like I was looking at the drink menu deciding what to get and its like the Vanilla Coffee whispered to me "psssst Gary, choose meeeee." New improved flavors, super friendly staff, and darn good coffee...that makes three "Alrights." I think Matthew McConaughey would be proud. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Great place to study for UT students. This petite cream puff place has free wifi, plenty of outlets, and comfortable chairs. The interior decor has a very french-inspired look. The staff was super friendly in helping us decide what flavors to order. She let us sample all the regular flavors (vanilla, chocolate, coffee, pumpkin spice). Personally, I liked the Vanilla flavor the best; it had a good creamy consistency that melted right in my mouth. I ordered a regular vanilla cream puff which came up a little over $2 (not a bad deal). Their coffees and lattes are pretty cheap too, which I will try next time. I was able to try the cookie top cream puff, which the only difference from the regular cream puff is that its crunchier/more sugary. They have good combo deals if you want all of the flavors. Advice: They do not validate parking for the Quarters garage. So if you park there, make sure you only stay for the free 30 minutes. Street parking is another option too. Also, feel free to check in on Yelp/Facebook for 10% off your order.

I have 3 letters to describe this place: OMG! I discovered this place during a recent tour of West Campus and came upon it after needing a sweet-fix post-coffee. How has this place not taken over Austin!?! Its cream puffs, but like "say what!?!" cream puff flavors and you can even get a cookie top on said cream puff!?!?! I cannot stress enough that everything as in EVERYTHING Is an insta-"GET IN MY MOUTH" situation! It was sophies choice (otherwise I would have instantly put on 100lbs if I had ordered everything I wanted), but I went with the Matcha Azuki sub chocolate drizzle because it seemed like the most unique flavor. It really was incredible, especially with the cookie top! Seriously, it was amazing!!! I paired it with a green tea chai (which was INCREDIBLE) and I was one happy woman! You can definitely tell the quality of the ingredients used (especially in the chai), so I didnt mind that both my cream puff and my chai came to $8 because it was not only satisfying, fulfilling, and delicious, but everything about the experience was worth the price tag! Cant wait to go back and try everything on the menu (one visit at a time)!

Smooth creamy filling and light porous pastry shell. Cream Whiskers cream puffs almost tastes as good as it looks. This place is pretty new to the scene, at least for me, and its definitely a calm space to come enjoy a snack and do some light reading. So Cream Whiskers appeal is that they sell baked goodies but mostly specializing in cream puffs; the oh-so-bad-for-you but delicious french dessert pastry. The cream puff is assembled by the customer in where you get to choose the type of puff pastry and creams ranging from original cream to mango or oreo chocolate cream. The cream puffs look fabulous but taste okay with the cream being thicker, if you get the more specialized creams, and the puff pastry a bit more chewy. The creams itself taste delightfully sweet without it being overtly sweet, and the thicker creams like cheesecake or oreo are richer than fruit creams like mango. They also serve coffees, drinks, and other pastries but I didnt try them. Overall, the cream puff is good but not great and the space is a wonderful place for casual reading/chatting with a friend. Prices vary between $3-4 per cream puff.

The first time I discovered Cream Whiskers -- I was actually disappointed. We were looking for ice cream and it appeared on Google maps as a dessert shop. HOWEVER, after we got over our little mishap, we have returned multiple times to indulge in the variety of cream puffs available... and I have yet to have a bad experience. I even ordered miniature cream puffs for my wedding reception, and they were a HUGE hit! I had guests telling me that they tried all 5 flavors that we chose! My favorite flavors (in no particular order) are definitely the brown butter pecan, mango cream cheese, and matcha azuki! My husband loves the classic strawberries and whipped cream. Definitely best fresh, although I certainly wont complain about eating one for breakfast the next morning. As other reviewers have commented, some of the fillings can be a little rich (the cream cheese oreo, etc.) and I prefer the plain cream puff to the cookie top, for sure.

Had my first ever cream puffs here and they were alright. I got Mango and Key Lime. The Mango was good, since the cream cheese was smooth, sweet, and flavorful. The Key Lime was okay, it tastes a bit artificial. If you never had a cream puff, its just tasteless bread with a sweet filling. Nothing specials and not worth the calories consumed. For the portions you get, its not worth the price either. Dont even bother bringing cash because when I came, I handed the cashier a $10 bill and was told they didnt have enough change for the $5.40 cream puff... Thats just irresponsible business.

Cool little cream puff shop in a small but cute space in West Campus. Several flavor and pastry options with a great selection of teas, coffee, and espresso options. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the cream puffs have yet to let me down. They also have one of my favorite chai lattes in town. Definitely worth checking out.

Delicious puffs .one of the best pastries I ever had.Made fresh daily . My favorite is the Tiramisu and I also love the mango cheese cake. Went there once and I was hooked. I love the atmosphere and the decor. Now we go there at least once a week . Definitely recommend . If you ever visit Austin you have to try cream whiskers .

Cute bakery and decent cream puffs but with the puffs costing about $4-5 each it gets pricey. Parking is validated in the garage it is attached to. Also Ive noticed they are almost always understaffed which causes a backup in service if theres more than 2 people in line or if someone orders a ton of puffs.

Am a grown man. Expected to get type 2 diabetes from eating here. Instead, the cream puffs were surprisingly refreshing and delicious. Very friendly staff. Would be a great place to take a girl after a frat party. Take her to Cream Whiskers and then give her cream whiskers. Thats the American way.

Ordered the Green Tea cream puff. Delicious! The pastry was light and fluffy and the filling was not overly sweet but balanced well with the red bean paste. The atmosphere was cute and seemed like a popular place to study. Would recommend. The place is a little tricky to find.
