Im not sure what everyone else is eating here, but every time Ive come here I has been nasty. NOT Fresh at all. Im actually concerned for the health of everyone who eats here. First time I had breakfast, my eggs had developed a crust from sitting out too long then heated up and served. Gross! . Second time I ate there, I had dinner. Ribeye, shrimp and mixed veggies. The ribeye tasted like liver and was not cooked like I had requested but its so thin Im not sure you can get medium rare. The shrimp was gross and tasted old. The veggies were drowned in butter. So doesnt matter if you wanted something healthy. I asked to have the steak replaced for the rainbow trout. The fish had the fishy smell taste, so of course that was not fresh. I wonder if they have anything fresh. I believe everything is either frozen or if not frozen at least a few weeks old. Im going to look into getting a health inspector to check out the kitchen.

I cant say enough good things about this place! The food is always great. The owners are usually there and I really think it makes a difference in the staff, for the better, they are like a big family. When you get your seat take a look around...see all the stuff up on the walls? See how clean it is? No dust, no spider webs....now when you go other places you can compare! When restaurants have memorabilia around I always look to see if it has been cleaned lately, and I usually find it has not. Las Lagunas is clean from top to bottom. Breakfast is awesome, dinner is awesome, we have never been disappointed!

Not about the food or the service! Its about the owners!! If u work here, be prepared to be harassed by the male owner! . He makes the females.uncomfortable. . Most of the workers are under age and leave because they are not comfortable working in this environment. And the female owner is rude and treats everyone like they r less than human, not realizing it is her spouse that drives the young employees away. Not to mention that her lack of ethics and the way she treats employees impacts the customers!

We walked in to a cute place but were quickly dissatisfied. Hot sauce was good and spicy but my mouth was on fire with no waitress in site to give refills!!!! My T-bone came and instead of a nice juicy med-rare it was boiled to a dull gray inside and out! My hubbys enchiladas were ehhhh! A little over priced for the sub- par food and crappy service, we will NOT be returning!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I ate at this restaurant for the first time on the morning of 11-2014. We both had their menudo and it was good. The waitress brought us flour tortillas instead of corn, but it was okay because the flour tortillas were delicious. Our waitress was efficient and very polite. Their homemade salsa was very good, too. Overall, it was a good experience.

Who in there right mind would ever patronize this place on a Saturday since they close at 3:00 pm. I have never seen a restaurant like this that has the craziest hours you can imagine. I am surprised that they are still open, There food is not bad if you are lucky enough to find them open to eat there.

The food is excellent, sometimes the service not so good, the salsa is always good, but what is really good is the flour and corn tortillas. The corn tortillas are as thick and soft as the flour tortillas , sometimes hard to tell the difference but the taste says it all.

Love this place, been coming here for years. Restaurant is clean, food is amazing and service is on point. Love their migas tacos in the morning and their enchiladas and chili in the afternoon. A jewel just outside Elmendorf on the way to Floresville.

This place is more convenient than it is good. The pricing of the menu is above average compared to other Mexican restaurants around town. During this particular visit, the service was not very good but the food was.

I try and stop here for breakfast every time Im in town. Hard to find breakfast like this in dfw, so its a treat to get to stop in. Its one of those places where "whats good?" Is answered by "everything on the menu"

I love their fideo, migas tacos and enchiladas. Always a big lunch crowd but never a wait for seating. Plenty of tables, booths and outdoor tables. Complimentary chips and salsa provided.

The chorizo wasnt fully cooked the tortillas either.. the beans are can beans and the service is typical of any big restaurant, although it shouldnt have been being only 6 tables filled
