I had the double meat original Cheesesteak sandwich! Bring your appetite! So much juicy meat and melty cheese that you cant close the Amorosos bun!!! You read correctly... I said Amorosos! Hands down BEST cheesesteak Ive had in the D/FW area! And Ive been to them ALL! This is the first time Ive felt that a cheesesteak here was worthy of praise! Drive down to this charming little old downtown Ferris and grab a Philly!!! Oh burgers are your preference? Hand made 1/2 pound burgers! Theyll even make you a triple! 1 1/2 pounds tall! You figure that one out! If you have a hearty appetite get the homemade onion rings or sweet potato fries! Great homemade chili topped the grilled coneys! And if you like chicken and waffles... Chicken and the waffle both crispy on the outside, and succulent and steamy inside! Served with syrup and whatever else youd like! Ill be driving back down here for the philly! Just stop reading and get to the Metro Grill! Now! Why are you still reading? Just hit the directions button and go! You belly will thank you!

The owner David is a gem! We stopped for a late lunch and had the best time. I ordered the philly cheese and fried green beans. A delish new spin w bacon, onions, peppers, and chopped steak. Im not eating a lot of bread, so david accommodated me and scooped out the center of bun... :) The fried green beans were perfectly fried,not greasy but crispy. My friend had the chicken fried steak,mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn. A true southern dish and it was so tasty. We topped our meal w a slice of warm pecan pie, a scoop of ice cream, and coffee... Lord! Its what makes texas great. :) The hospitality and charm of the diner, david, and staff is is a must do again, next time we drive through Ferris, Tx!!

Terrific small town restaurant. We love to look for local places on our travels. This place had great burgers and phillycheese steak sandwiches. Waitresses were attentive to our needs and chef even came out to chat. Super sweet ladies. We will add this to our lunch stops between Houston and Dallas. Always a pleasant experience when staff is cordial, helpful, and treated the kids extra special plus delicious fresh cooked food.

Best Philly in Dallas area. I got one with queso cheese. Huge sandwich that tasted great. My friend got a double house burger that was one pound of meat. Couldnt even finish it. Looking forward to coming back here to eat soon. Very friendly staff. Heard they will be serving beer, wine and mixed drinks. Only place in Ferris.

Excellent food. Fresh. Amazing homemade queso. You have to try the specialty burgers, especially the old McDonald! Cheesteaks are the best. We eat there most every week. Great service too. We just found out today that they finally started selling liquor! Even better. Very clean restrooms too.

They have a great menu. Such a large variety of food to choose from. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Great atmosphere to enjoy time with friends over a great plate of nachos or one of their fantastic burgers. Food prepared on the spot and pretty quickly at that.

Never liked cheesesteaks until I ate here. Turns out Ive just been eating at the wrong places all my life. Best food ever! Great portions for the price. Rather eat close to home then drive in to Dallas for overpriced under portioned meals. Love it here!

The food and the service is top notch. I absolutely love the food. I must say that I have very picky tastebuds.. I rate my food 1-10. I have never rated a restaurant above 8.0 I give Metro Bar and Grill a 9.0. Try the Big Chief Burger!!

Had philly cheese-dry, not good... kids meals came with the 25 cent bag of chips u get from dollar store.... burger patty was twice as small as burger bun.. price of what I paid for what i got, rip off!
