This was a really bad experience, I am from out of town visiting my mother, I had gone to one of the other clubs (Same type of music) Wild horse and after being there for only a few minutes and having only one drink I got online to see other country music clubs in the area since this is my type of music by choice. I arrived at the door of Whiskey Dicks only to be received in a very unfriendly manner by the door bouncer or ID checker, this kid and I say kid because I almost doubled his age and it was obvious of this he asked me for my ID which I didnt had a problem showing it, only thing is that I traveled into the area with my temporary ID (PAPER) because I still hadnt gotten the actual when I left San Antonio because the reason I came into El Paso was because my mother has cancer, so after showing him my ID he tells me that is no good and he pointed out my Picture on the Temp ID so he tells me do you have your old one to Ill bet anyone that nobody carries it and I see this every day and Ill say why I know this in a minute, I was looking at him like are you kidding me kid Im older than you even if TABC would have shown up they wouldnt have ever asked me for my ID so I was like ok I have another ID in my car that has my Picture on it if thats the problem ID that we never show at clubs to get in because it would be considered in some places that were almost asking even to get in for free. So I went back inside and I told him how about this one and he grabbed it and shined his flash light on it and I saw the look on his face for a second he was speechless because it was my Police Identification HELLO Im a cop from out of town hr then looks at me and tells me almost not wanting to Oh it doesnt have your date of birth on it, I told him laughing 1975 and these IDs never have the DOB on them and he still didnt let me in, I told him while still laughing thats ok and I left peacefully. One thing for sure ounce I go home and I ran plates if I see anyone from El Paso I will make sure that I hand out a nice ticket(s) with a big smile on my face. So to anyone thinking of going to this place I suggest they go someplace else this is not the only club in El Paso as a matter of fact Im planning on going out again on Saturday and this time Im planning on driving all the way to Las Cruces to Grand central Station much better place we have one of these in San Antonio.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY AT THIS CRAPPY BAR I went to see a concert at this bar and most of the people working there were unbelievably rude and on a zealous ego trip. It was the first time I had ever been to this bar and the LAST TIME I will ever go. BEWARE!!! There are much better bars in El Paso to hang out in. The drinks are overpriced with BAD SERVICE, it takes forever to even get a drink and the bouncers seem to really enjoy harassing their customers. Just before the main band came on stage, a bouncer came over to my friend and asked to speak to her outside. We had both had a beer and a shot and I had just come back to the table with another beer for us both. The bouncer took my friend outside and said he saw her stumble and that she was cut off for the night. A little while later he and another guy came to the table and said she had to leave, she was drunk and he was going to call the cops if she didnt leave. I tried to speak to the manager and see if there was anything I could do, especially since we had PAID to see this band but NO ONE was cooperative. This bouncer then proceeded to stalk us the rest of the night and was determined to keep my friend outside even though she was NOT drunk. I tried my best to get them to let her stay inside to at least hear the band but they just kept saying they were going to call the cops if she didnt leave. This was THE WORST experience Ive ever had at a bar and we werent even drunk!

If there was a no star button that is what I would give. We went here for my husbands birthday. One of the customers, drunk female who maybe was 22, pushed my husband so hard he almost fell. I told this girl to not touch my husband in a polite manner. She got upset thru up her hands and tried to fight me. Instead of throwing this girl out, Rob, the over 6 ft bouncer came to me and said I had to leave. I told him that we did nothing wrong and that she had assaulted my husband. This bouncer began to shove his body into me. Im 52" 135 lbs. Hes easily over 200 lbs. I started to fall backwards. Needless to say the cops were called and nothing was done. This is the worse bar I have ever been to. So if ur looking to be assaulted by the staff and customers and treated like ur the one in the wrong. Then go here. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. PS. Even the cops said this place was no good and recommended other bars to go to bc of the reputation this one has for how they treat their customers.

We were very excited to spend my bachelorette party at the Wade Bowen concert here and I will NEVER go back. There were ten of us girls and we were harassed from the moment we walked in by the staff. The girl taking tickets was rude and then proceeded to go into the bathroom and bad mouth our the bouncers followed us around all night looking for any reason they could to kick us out. We may have had a bit to drink but were not out of control by any means. Extremely dissapointed with the outcome of the $300 we spend on tickets drinks etc!

I like the bar, but dont ever run a tab here. The last two times Ive been, Ive had drinks end up on my tab that I know I did not order. Both times after getting my tab at the end of the night, the bartender was pushy and insistent that it was correct in almost an attempt to bully me into paying it and get out. To make matters worse, this last time, Im certain that the tip I was charged on my tab was not the the same amount that I left at the end of the night. They will rip you off if youre not careful.

This place is either too crowded or dead empty. The drinks are cheap which might be the only good thing about it. For being a dancing place the DJs dont know how to keep the vibe going. Theyll pick a song that gets everyone in the dancefloor and the next song will make everyone sit down. Go with a group of people you like if you want to have a good time, otherwise youll end up at the bars next door.
