July 2013. This is definitely my favorite place to go every chance I get. Ive been going since I was a kid, so probably 15+ years. This is a sports bar first and foremost. However, you dont have to be an alcoholic to enjoy it. I go here for the batting cages. 50 cents gets you 10 balls in any cage, ranging from slow-pitch softball, to the Nolan Ryan 90+ mph machine. I always spend at least $20 in quarters here. I also always eat here. The fried zucchini is amazing. The burger and fries is pretty good too. This is a bar though, not a restaurant. Dont order a ton of food for a huge party, and expect restaurant quality service. There is no waitstaff here. Just the bartenders. Theres usually a nice blonde lady working at the bar. If shes not there to call me "sweety," I feel like my experience is incomplete. The owner, an old man with thick glasses and walrus mustache, is also usually there. Hes not always the most pleasant, but after years of dealing with drunks and dummies, you might be grumpy too. My experience is equally incomplete if I dont hear him tell somebody to quit banging on his machines. Overall, I love this place. I will continue to go as often as I can, and I if ever move back to Tucson, Ill be there every week.

Ive been here multiple times never have been treated the way we were this past weekend. We spent $30 on food and $20 on quarters for the batting cages. One of the slow pitch ones gave us 5/12 balls and it was positioned wrong it would throw the balls behind us. Before in past experiences theyve come out and fixed them. There was a kid working there who when heard about the complaint immediately said he would close it. And he did gave us attitude and all didnt even listen to what everyone else was telling him. I then went inside to cancel my order after that move and the bartender then gave us attitude when I asked for it to go. I wanted to tell her about the crappy attitude about the kid then she gave me crappy attitude. I then called back and was transfered to the owner who didnt give a damn about what we had to say. He said oh the machine is broken and when I asked why did he allow people to put money into a broken machine responded with oh well thats why he closed it. Usually if a machine would break down we would always get reimbursed.. the customer service completely lost my respect and also my business.

Like several reviews before me stated this is a Sports Bar not a restaurant. The food is great but you do need to go up to the bar and order and not expect any waitresses to go to your table unless they are super slow. Dont expect them to notice you need ketchup etc. because they wont. They are busy bartending because they are a BAR. Its a fun place to hang out and watch the games with your friends or family including little kids. There is an outside area for us smokers where you can both eat and drink and watch the batting cages. I have yet to run into a rude employee so dont know where that comes from. I give this place a thumbs up.

The place has gone dowhill, One pool table is such poor condition it unplayable, the bowling game wont even take our money. At least we saved 10 bucks or more!!! Dart boards are new but no house darts that got a laugh when my friend asked for them, good thing I had mine. Oh, their is NO FREE pizza 4-6, They put one out at 4 by 4:30 its gone. Yep we got their 4:40,when inquired it got a big laugh and "too late". There "lunch special" they used offensive racial slur for an Italian. Well tommorow someone told be the special was going to be "The Spicy Beaner". The bar is as lame as the other posters here.

It great until I went to bar. Well waiting for a drink I was Google a shot for my friends birthday. I heard a man ask me do "I need anything " i said yes looked up and he decided to be judgemental. He literally said to me infront of a bar full of customers that "I need to speak to him because he is not concerned about my social media life" i physical showed him what I was googling he beckered away. I lost all respect for "THE MANAGER" shame on him and at the end of day, if you hate your job, dont do it. PERIOD. Ill recommended this place when hes not around

Batting cages are great, food is pretty good. But like everyone else I agree the service is horrible, the staff act like your bothering them when you place an order, and the guy that works the cages completely ignores you when one of the pitching machines isnt working. This could be a top of tha line sports bar if some new staff were hired, that might get rid of all tha drunks that hang out there, it looks like a scumy dirtbag kinda place.

Yea this place is the best. The beer is cold, the food is incredible, the servers are some of the nicest people on planet Earth. I walked in the the bartender told me I looked like Brad Pitt. Yea come here and enjoy some of the best people(no drunks) and great service. And I am not the owner or someone that serves here that was put up to this either...seriously guys. I am a ...banker ...yea:)

The bartender and server were friendly and attentive. Food was great at a reasonable price. The other patrons were a lot of fun and there was no pressure to leave as we watched a whole football game. They even switched a TV just for us to watch. I would highly recommend it as a place to hang out and watch a game.

Cages and food were good, but placing an order and obtaining it from the staff is horrible! The bar keep seems aloof to remembering maintaining any type of order. If you just want to hang and bat id say its a chill place to be, but if your only interest is food, I would choose a different spot.

It turns out alcohol and batting cages do mix. Fun place to go to catch a ballgame on TV (about 10 televisions around to play all D-Backs all night, or other lesser teams) and during inning intervals head outside to hit along Goldschmidt in either softball speed cages or 90 mph fastball cages.

Nice atmosphere. Couple of bar flys hanging out, drinking at 11am though. Staff is great. They are incredibly polite. Batting cages and arcade games to keep little ones busy. I had the best slice of pizza that I have ever had in my life! Reasonable prices. I definitely recommend this place!

This place has games, batting cages, lots of TVs, great pizza, burgers, fries and drinks. Dont expect fancy but expect lots of people who are regulars. Kids and families as well as singles and couples can feel comfortable here. U of A games and other sporting events are great here.

You can have a drink or a beer or regular beverage. The conversations wonderful the people are nice and while youre doing all rest if you want some athletic activity you can hit softballs or baseballs! They Supply the equipment or you can bring your own. I rate this five stars!
