The 2 stars are for the food ONLY, which is actually quite good. Unfortunately the service and facility are not. Heres why: 1) They only offer high priced carbonated sodas and tea for purchase. Otherwise, your choice is water from a water cooler in a small Dixie cup (see photos) 2) Ten is part of the new outdoor eatery trend, which is super cool, except the main attraction at this eatery is the dog park thats flocked with flies galore - and brother, that aint cool. 3) Again, the whole point of an outdoor eatery is to dine outdoors so seating only exists outside. And since they dont bring your food to you (or collect it) or call your name, its up to you to keep checking inside if your food is ready. **4) Of course, the obvious solution to this debacle is to take away, right? Nope! At Ten, they dont offer take away containers - even though I already paid $12/I own the Pho - b/c, according to the cook, they feel it would ruin the experience..... Sorry Ten, you already did that.

I had high hopes for this place. When it finally opened I thought "Yes finally a real ramen place!" but this was sadly not the case. Although it was originally supposed to be a $10 bowl instead of $20+ that it is the location and food it self arent worth either of the two. Ive had better prepackaged ramen than I had here. Lets not even get into the cramped nature of the place. The service is the only thing thats good..... but it better be for what the crap they call ramen costs. If you want to learn how to be successful, fly out to California and visit a city called Fullerton, while there go to Kopan Ramen and pay attention to their chasu, egg, and ESPECIALLY broth! This place is known state wide for its reasonable price and exceptional food! No one bests them in Cali. If you duplicate that in Dallas you would have a very lucrative business loved by many!

Ramen done right! Broth is thinner than normal and less oil than I prefer. Chashu was tender. Pickled mustard greens were a great pairing. Seasoning was perfect as were the cooked noodles. I discovered the tableside garlic oil in my last visit which fixed the oil content issue. I didnt add extra noodles to original order but the cook was able to accomodate me and place an order at his iPad since the one in dining floor doesnt have the option for just sides. My only complaint is the no seating. Ive been to Japan and Ive yet to encounter a stand-only ramen shop. Ten has a stool for short people, but when you are tall like me, Im really having to stoop down to slurp. Yes, its pricey but I rather pay more for a badass ramen than penny pinch for a mediocre broth. My alternative is Hakata in Addison or Tatsu-ya in Austin.

BLUFF: Waste of time and money for over priced noodle water with a slice of meat. The 1st indication of failure is the"Asian" sections the canned bamboo shoots passing as Menma. 2nd indication of failure, the Chef not knowing what Katsuobushi or Dashi stock is. 3rd ind... No chairs, and only room for about 8ppl, so dont bring your family unless your ok with sitting on the floor outside customers these other reviews got this place filling up quick. I made the drive out only cuz they claimed to not use chicken broth on EVERYTHING like every other restaurant in Dallas. I wasted $14 on Lobster Miso. IF youve ever been to main land or Okinawa consider this your warning..."This is not the ramenya your looking for if you want authentic Ramen. Just another over priced bowl of cup o close enough soup."

This place sucked. The food was ok, not happy with the variety of ramen. Just like other shops theres mostly just 2-3 and all pork and its always chasu. And it didnt taste all too special. The noodles looked and had the consistency of instant noodles. The service was mediocre, they ignored us when we came in and the only times they said anything to us, was when we got our orders and when we left. They were very talkative with the regulars and made no effort to make us newcomers welcome. Its as if they were saying " you dont look like hipsters so youre not worth my time". I regret tipping. Which btw is very tacky to have them ask for a tip before you get the service. All in all, i wouldnt recommend coming here to anyone and will never return.

Yes there is no seating. This is in homage to ramen stops at train stations and rest areas in Japan. I lived in Japan for 7 years and I am married to a Japanese woman, we have been to many ramen restaurants in the DFW area and "Ten" was the best, most authentic tasting we have found. That being said the standing room only is the reason I probably will not be back as it is uncomfortable and hard to enjoy your meal while others are standing behind you waiting for their chance to eat. I would highly recommend you try "Ten" once for the food. knowing that it is standing only before you go will help you have a better time and the tonkotsu ramen is really good. if they open a seated area I will be back and might find that fifth star.

Absolutely delicious! I have been to two other Ramen places in the DFW area and this place blows them away. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen. Additionally, I added a soft boiled egg to complete this awesome bowl. The broth was delicious, as well as the Chashu. The Chashu I had at other Ramen places was simply braised. Here at TEN, it was braised AND grilled, which made it have an outstanding flavor. At both other Ramen restaurants Ive been to, I never even finished my noodles. However, I literally finished 95% of the bowl, including the broth and other ingredients. I cannot wait to return. My fiance got the Maze-men and she liked it. I prefer the Ramen, however, because of the delicious broth.

Good, but not as good as Wabi House. My sister got the tonkotsu (pretty good) and I got a rice bowl (added corn, bok choy, and a poached egg.) It was very good. We both liked mine the best by far. 2 side note comments: Limited drink selection. The drinking water came from an ozark type dispenser bottle (no issue there), but it tasted and smelled like it came straight from a pond or the Trinity river. Super gross.Id happily even bought a bottled water if they sold it and gave the option. No to go boxes. We actually asked for two from a restaurant down the way... apparently ten ramen customers do that all the time... Cmon guys. Offer to go boxes for folks. Dont be cheap.

We visited this restaurant on our way to American Airlines Center. Its a great place to go if you just want to stop in and have some ramen. It is small with enough room for only about a dozen people. But the food is great and the staff is even better. Ive been a couple times now and always been welcomed by the guys behind the counter. They genuinely care about how your experiences and engage in conversation with you throughout your meal. If you havent been before, you should know there are no chairs here, it is traditional Japanese style ramen which is standing only, but that makes the experience part of the fun
