Im a stickler on Chinese food but I liked China Sun. I had the beef with snow peas plate and ordered the beef fried rice a la carte to go. All ingredients were fresh, the snow peas were crisp, and the sauce was tasty. There was a good-sized mound of it, with a lot of shaved beef, very tender and dredged. The dish included mushrooms, water chestnuts, and carrot thin-sliced. Of note also was the rice. This just isnt the instant white rice you so often see. It was nice, fluffy rice with moist, well defined grains. The service was just right, unobtrusive yet pleasant. The man who took my order spoke perfect English and explained what was in everything. Sit-down service happens at comfortable booths and tables after youve placed your order at the counter. I asked for chop sticks when I got my food and they were brought right away. The clean interior is cozy - basically theres a half-wall of glass around the entire place which is laid out in sections so theres privacy and low noise. I loved the music that was playing, something free-form and relaxing, much as you would hear at a spa.

We go there all the time and the food is always so delicious, but the reason for the three stars is because they are stingy with their sauces every time we go we have to ask for the sauces and its always the same thing "we charge for the sauces" , and that didnt use to be the case they use to give them with the food and if you needed more that wasnt a problem. If theyre going to charge for the sauces at least have a set price because every time we go we get different people and they each charge differently.

Staff is rude. I have eaten there for years with great food at a great price but now they are using low quality food. They dont stand behind their food when they know something doesnt look the same about the dish. If you just want cheap chinese purchase something REAL simple or you will get food like I did that was not able to be eaten. All I wanted to do was bring it to their attention and I was treated like crap, a women that shouldnt be saying anything to him. I wouldnt return.

My boyfriend and I go here all the time, when were in the mood for Asian cuisine. Its cheap, good sized portions, it always smells good there, and the food is WONDERFUL ! My favorite is the wonton soup. They always cook it delicious, with no added nasty oils, like the nasty Chopsticks down the street. Its got a nice clear color to it too. (: yum ! We always know were getting a great price for our Buck. Go here for your next meal. Its definitely sure to please !

I got the House Beef. Flavor was vaguely citrus, heavily red colored like a syrup and 0 spicy, though the menu showed a "pepper" icon next to the listing. The beef itself was low, low quality; chewy like beef bubble gum with a rubber consistency. Tried their Mongolian Beef as well, had a hint of a burnt black pepper taste. Rice was dry. Egg roll was Heavy black pepper taste and oily. Dr Pepper on tap was perfectly mixed and tasted awesome.

The inside was clean which is a plus. The staff was nice and attentive and the food came out faster than expected and was correct which is another plus. The taste was not bad but I can name a few other locations locally that would be either the same or would be better. I also thought the portions could have been a little more for the price I paid but I would go again, just wouldnt be my first choice for McKinney Asian food.

My boss and I ordered the shrimp lo mein and shrimp in lobster sauce, the veggies in my lo mein were bad and both of our shrimp was way over cooked. I also ordered the crab rangoons and they didnt have any meat at all in them and my boss got a wanton and it looked like a fried tortilla chip, he got the fried rice as well but it was steamed rice with pieces of scrambled eggs in it, and the fortune cookies were very stale

The veggie fried rice is so good I cant seem to order anything else because I crave it now. I work 40 miles from there and every time Im in that area this is the place I go. Great flavor great portions and great price. Two thumbs up for me.

The food was good. It tasted fresh and hot. We will eat here again. My only complaint is that they have Pepsi instead of Coke and the really skinny, beautiful China lady makes all women look fat. But again, the food was good!

All your American Chinese classics are here, Cashew Chicken, General Tso, chop suey, etc... All at very reasonable prices. Not a fancy dining area but clean an well kept. Great place for your "everyday" Chinese food fix

This is not Chinese food, no flavor, known dishes unrecognizable ! this the second time, and last I order here. Sorry but I would recommend they get a cook that has actually cooked Chinese food.
