I visited this location for the first time today. I met one of my best friends here for Sunday lunch. Only good thing I can say about this location is that it didnt take long to be seated at a table and the decor is beautiful. After being seated it all went down hill. The place was not crowded, but it took over 20 minutes for the waitress to take our drink order. Because it took so long we were able to order our food and drinks at the same time. I ordered the chicken fried steak and egg meal. I asked for scrambled eggs, but when my food was brought out the eggs were over easy. My friend ordered the breakfast sampler and when her food was brought out it was missing the hash browns. By the way, my food came out first and her food came out about 10 minutes later. Now, here is where it gets good. When the waitress brought my food to the table she had assistance from someone who looked to be the manager. I say she was the manager because she was dressed business casual and did not have on a uniform. I pointed out the discrepancy with my order to her. She went to the back and next thing I know we hear arguing going on in the kitchen area. It lasted about 3-5 minutes. At this point me and my friend was very annoyed and turned off by the whole situation. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. Im giving this location 1 star because the decor was beautiful. The service, on the other hand, was horrible. Please do better. I cant rate the food because I didnt stay long enough to eat.

Probably the worse to go experience Ive had in any restaurant chain. I was told what I was ordering was nowhere on their menu while placing my order over the phone. I made sure to give them a little extra time then how long they told me it would take to have my food ready. Upon arrival the girl at the check in station just looked at me but didnt even bother asking if I needed help. After letting them know I was there for a pick up, no one even told me they were checking on my food. We waited about 10 minutes in the restaurant before I finally got up to ask if my food was ready. Everything I was told came with an attitude. Once they finally brought my food, we realized that my order was taken wrong and they gave me 2 plates of the food that was not on their menu. At this point I was tired of waiting, annoyed and starving, so I just took the food and left. Perhaps a little more training on the staff wouldnt hurt the restaurant. I myself work on Customer Service and I know that if I treated my customers the way I was treated, not only would I lose my job, but I would also lose money for the company. The food was great, but I will much rather drive to Cedar Hill or anywhere else with better/friendlier staff to get my food in the future.

If I could give this IHOP no stars at all, I totally would. This is the WORST IHOP that I have ever been to. We were seated fairly quickly, but it all went downhill from there. Our table was dirty, crumbs everywhere! Nobody took our drink order until 30 minutes after we were seated. Then they proceeded to get our drink orders wrong , not once or twice, but three times!!! All of the wait staff were in their own little worlds and could not focus. Our main waitress was nowhere to be seen for about 30 minutes. After an hour of waiting for our food, we decided to get up and leave. The waitress ran to us and saw us leaving, then came up with the "we are short-staffed" excuse. They had about 4 tables in the whole restaurant and 5 employees waiting on tables. This is not the first time that we come here and we receive the same sloppy service. They need to fire everyone and hire motivated employees. ALSO THE WOMENS RESTROOM HAD POOP ALL OVER THE FLOOR!

This IHOP branch was the worst! Waitress refused to take my order after I waited for 20 minutes. Got my coffee after about 30 minutes, no milk until after about another 10 minutes. Took about another 5 minutes to bring my water and I almost left when they served my orders. Crepes barely had syrup on it. Hash brown was old not so good! Bacon and sausage had odd taste! Manager was out of her mind...walking around like she was out of this world. Dirty utensils. Staff from this branch do not care about the cleanliness of the restaurant. Floor and tables were messy and dirty. This IHOP branch needs a new management! Ive been to so many IHOP branches all over the country and this one was just disgusting! I took a picture of the table with rugs and tissues left by one of the stuff for so long! Never seen something like that before.

This was the absolute worst experience I ever had at a restaurant. The place was packed which wasnt the issue. I sat down the waitress didnt come to my table until after a 35 min. Once she came to my table she bought our drinks out and said she had to pee. Then she finally took our order after 20 mins I asked her is my food being cooked she replied to me no because we are short staff. I told her I was leaving she then replied ur food is being cooked now so I sat down and waited 25 more minutes.once the food came out I had to wait 10 min on syrup when she finally brought the syrup to me when I went to pour the syrup on my pancakes and it wouldnt come out at all it was hard and old I paid for my children food and walked out. I will never never recommend this place to anyone. So disgusted I really hope they shut this place down.

How is it that you walk in at about 830pm.. there two other tables of customers... you order your food, one table leaves so left with us and one other table... 20-30 mins later we get our food and its all cold!!! The manager said oh well one cook is cooking and the other is cleaning (mind you the waitress for us got her food and was eating it while we were waiting on ours) and hers was hot! The manager offers to replace it but cant explain why it took so long to serve our French toast eggs n bacon in the first place... uhh no thanks... we got up and left!!! Dont recommend, would hate to see the service when its actually busy! The building is beautiful inside and out but the service is the worst Ive ever received at an IHOP- Were in town for a basketball tournament from Oklahoma!!!

What did i like about this place? it has a lot of parking that was thr only good thing about my visit. The place was empty maybe 2 other families there. We sat there, got our menues and sat there for close to 30 minutes waiting to be helped. Once another family walked in, they were taken care of much faster than us. I dont want to say that the employees are racist but we are Mexicans and the family after us was African American. Once we saw that the other family was being taken care of ahead of us we just got up and walked out. I will never be going to this i hop again and i will be sure to advise my family and friends about my visit. Poor Poor service people. I drove to the ihop in cedar hill where i am now and they are taking really good care of us.
