Wow, where to start. My wife and I just left Humperdinks in Addison on Beltline. When we got there, we asked for a booth. The hostess seated us at a table that could easily hold six people. My wife and I were seated so far apart, we couldnt hear each other without speaking very loudly. I ordered the Alaskan Salmon for $12.99. It was supposed to come with rice and a house salad. I also ordered another side of green beans to go with it for $2.99. My wife ordered a Grilled chicken Ceaser salad. After a few minutes, I asked about the salad for mine and the waitress told me that mine did not come with a salad. I asked to see the menu so I could show here it did. About 10 minutes later she dropped off the menu and left quickly before I could show her. A few minutes later a lady brought out our food. When she asked if it was ok, we told her no. I had not gotten my salad yet and the salad my wife got was not a grilled Chicken Ceaser. It looked like a house salad with some chicken thrown on top. She took my wifes back and tried to take mine back for some reason. She seemed very agitated. A few minutes later, they did bring out my salad. by the time I finished eating it, my other food was cold. I finished both the salad and my plate. About 5 minutes later, they finally brought out my wifes salad. They had removed the chicken from the other salad and wiped it off, then put it on her new one. It still had pieces of carrot and whatever the other dressing was all over it. It was also cold by then. She said it had a funny taste to it. The manager came over after my wife was almost done eating and we told him what had happened. He offered to take off 20% of the bill and we accepted. About 20 minutes later, the bill came out. The 20% discount was on there, but they had charged me $17.99 for my meal that was supposed to be $12.99. We sent it back to be corrected. The waitress told me it was because there were two meals, the value meal and the regular meal. As she was walking off, I told her I had pointed on the menu to the one that said $12.99. It took another 30 minutes (no exaggeration) for the bill to come back out from the manager correcting it. We hurried up and paid it and left. We have been to this Humperdinks before and have always had good service and good food, so maybe tonight was just an off night, but I feel the manager should have done more. I am not one to ask for handouts or anything, but I do feel that he should have at least comped my wifes meal and given us a bit of a discount since it was messed up so badly. I am sure we will go back again and give them at least one more chance. Hopefully next time will be better.

The Addison location is within walking distance of my house. I have been there before, and always liked the food, so when they sent a coupon for buy one entrée, get one free my girlfriend and I went. However, while the food was good, the experience was TERRIBLE. First: The buy one-get one offer is good only up to $10 (take a gander at their menu and see how many entrees there are under $10). So, I felt that was misleading. Second: I ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs. I have never ordered ribs there before, so dont really know how many come to an order. I finished my meal and was surprised to see that they charged me for a full order. I mentioned it to our waitress who said she must have misheard me or entered the order wrong, but that I ate the ribs so I had to pay for them. I asked to speak to the manager and he, too, said I should have spoken up and that seeing as how we were getting $10 off anyway, I had to pay for the full order of ribs. What kind of customer service is this? They botch my order and I have to pay for it? Plus, do check their menu and see what you can get for $10 and see what you think about their "buy one entrée, get one free (up to $10)" offer really gets you. This experience really saddens me due to its proximity to my house, but I will not eat there again.

It is so poorly run I dont know where to start. I usually go with a group of friends otherwise I would NEVER go there. Our group, on a slow night, waited as long as 45 minutes just to get menus and a water. 30 minutes later we got our drink orders taken. Then on one occasion our waitress just walked out. Left the building! So the "manager" comes to take over. Well every order was mixed up or just wrong because of no continuity with who took the order and who was to deliver. I am trying to keep this short and succinct but it was so awful . The last 2 times their credit card processing computer died and they fiddled with it for nearly an hour before finally manually processing our cards. I asked one friend just why do we go back, the only thing he came up with was that he had a Groupon deal. Not even worth that in my mind., Today I am being forced into going to another location with a Patient Support Group of 35 and I am just dreading it. On a high note they have some good beer, that is the only positive I can come up with.

We went there thinking that a local Dallas restaurant would be a good idea. The bar is huge, and the booth seats were too low to sit in, made me feel like toddler at the grown up table. Service was good, drinks were brought out in good time. The main critic was the food. I ordered the Ruben, "the original sandwich", which was disappointing. The meat was dry, and the side that was against the plate was soggy, as if it had been sitting under the heat lamps for a while. (It did take like 25 min for us to get our food, and it wasnt that busy). The sweat potato fries, that were a dollar extra, tasted like they came from a frozen bag. My BF ordered the bacon burger, and didnt finish it, which is surprising being that bacon is his favorite thing. For the quality of food, the prices are terrible. We got 2 drinks, appetizer, burger and a sandwich for $60!!!!! This restaurant is no better than a chilis or an applebees. So disappointing,

To start off it took our drinks a minimum of 25 mins to come out and there were only 2 of us ordering. We met a couple at the restaurant and one person had placed their food order well before we arrived and our drinks came well before their food. At least 30-45 mins for a turkey burger and the excuse was the burger had to be cooked well done.... How else do you make a turkey burger?! To top it off there was no one there so they werent busy. That all could have been tolerable but the bartender/waitress had a really bad attitude. Told me that my friend looked confused so she wouldnt take my order and would come back after she served another table and then walked off. I dont fully understand why the bartender would be waiting tables and no one gets served their drinks because there is no one working at the bar but I guess that is how this place is run.... Maybe??? Terrible experience. Will not be coming back.
