This place has potential, because some of the food is quite good, like the bread and butter given with your drinks. My wife and I slipped in here around 7PM on a Saturday and Id say the place was less than half full. After receiving a nice introduction to the menu from our server, we were then left there for a good 15-20 minutes before she returned to take our order. Our food then took a good 25-30 minutes to arrive. Some of it was quite good (the rice and the lamb chops), some was quite dry and difficult to chew (the beef and chicken kabobs). After finishing our meal, we then waited a good 15 minutes before we got the attention of our waitress to bring us our check. We then waited another 15 minutes before we could get the attention of another staff member to ring it up. Note that this place was never near full the entire time. All told, we were there the better part of two hours for a meal that couldve taken 45 minutes. Bottom line -- we will not return. Food wasnt great and the service was terrible. I think you have to be a neighborhood regular to be in the good graces of this place. If not, they could care less about your patronage.

They have incredible freshly made food, beautiful clean space to dine in and great service. Its a warm, friendly, thorough family restaurant. I love their hummus and spinakopitas are delicious as well. I could tell they work very hard to do their best. I also reserved a table once for 11 people and only 5 showed up. They set up a beautiful table for us and most of my people didnt show up. Any other place would have been furious but they have been so kind, gracious, and understanding. I always enjoyed the food here but now even more so. Terrific Mediterranean food, friendly attentive service and warm, kind, understanding people. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thank you guys so much!

Great food. Okay Excellent service. Chef is an excellent talent. I especially recommend the Abocas Salad with his secret recipe dressing. Atmosphere is cordial and relaxing. Prices are extremely resonable for such excellent fare. Update -- this review was true at the time... Head Waiter left and the service is a times wanting... I still love the food but I recognize if the place is more than half full or is not very full service may be an issue

Came here with 5 adults 3 kids, 2 mixed platters more than enough plenty to take home. Delicious rice not to mention lamb, babaganoush, calamari, fresh round rolls. Very nice and attentive staff excellent service and gracious owner who makes sure all is done well. Highly reccomended, even veggies on platter were crisp yet lightly oiled and seasoned perfectly. Support independence and excellence by eating here.

We had dinner here last night. What a treat! Everything we had was superb. The hummus was rustic and tasty. Chicken was moist, tender and very flavorful. Greek salad was fresh w/a great dressing. The red wine was excellent. Baked feta was sinful. Will definitely return again and again. Place was spotless-could eat off the floor. Service was fast. Whats not to like?

Abocas Italian grill didnt disappoint at all. They seat you fast, appetizers, and food was the same. The portions are giant size...very similar to cheese cake factory without all the people. Look at the mozzarella sticks The staff and atmosphere is great and you can bring your own wine. Check it out when you get some time. It wont hurt you wallet either

Remarkable atmosphere and delicious food. Homemade soup is totally different than other Turkish restaurants in DFW area. Plus, unique Turkish vines and professional service will make you happy when you eat your fresh food. I will be so happy to recommend this place to my friends.

Best Mediterranean restaurant Ive been to. Got the family platter and every single thing on it was delicious. The feta cigars are life changing. Service is spectacular. And there was a belly dancer with music. Amazing dinner experience.

Good food, nice atmosphere. However, dont come if you have less than an hour and a half for lunch. Three coworkers and I came to eat at lunch (no lunch crowd) and it took us 45 minutes to get our food.
