I have had a lot better service and a lot better food at other VertsKebap locations. The 2 girls working here seemed over all uninterested in the customers, and the food had probably been sitting out longer than I am used to. I have only ever eaten at the location in Lewisville, there the food is always great they always have plenty of the grilled veggies. The Dallas location was out of veggies, and when I asked if I could get some she just said "No". Usually when I walk into the Lewisville, the employees greet me and my co-workers, this is the same at Chipotle, Jasons Deli or any other place like that. When my wife and I walked in here we were not greeted and we awkwardly stood at the counter for a minute while the employees shuffled stuff around in the back. When we were done ordering the food and we were getting checked out the employee checking us out was talking to her friend/family member who was not ordering food and we had to wait for them to get to a stoping point in her conversation before we could get wrung up. Over all I like the food VertsKebap sells, I like the way they sell it, I just think this location was failing to carry out what Verts could be. I am actually going to go eat at the Lewisville location today for lunch and thinking about how good it is going to taste reminded me of what a let down I had the other day. Also I dont think they had the AC on or something it was super hot in there. Just for some context, it isnt like they were busy, there was only one other group in there when we arrived and that group was already wrapping up their meal. I am sure I will give this location another try down the road, hopefully when there are different employees working. However I fear that I may never be able to convince my wife that they are worth another try. My recommendation would be to try VertsKebap at another location first if you havent been to one before. If you are an Austin transplant or have been to another location then perhaps you can over look their short comings for a taste of that sweet sweet beef n house sauce you know you love.

Recently discovered this place on a food delivery service. Was very impressed. In fact I think we ordered it 3 times in a 7 day period. This last time the order was completely wrong, not even close. We politely reported this. We tired to re-order the correct items, but they were closed. Our money was refunded and and we had to make due with another option. Then we tried to order it for a 4th time in a week and our order was rejected! They are mad we sent back the wrong order! I find interesting the restaurant screws up the order, we dont hold it against them, continue to be customers, and they are mad at us! You can tell the best businesses not by how they handle things when everything goes right, but how they handle it when it goes wrong.

I grew up in west Berlin. Doners/Kebaps are a fast food tradition in the city. I visited Verts today with high hopes. Needless to say I was very disappointed. As with all things some deliver a better product than others. If Verts was located in Berlin it would be one of the worst. They got the bread and sauce right but the meat is way off. For one it is very fatty. Its like eating a handful of gristle. The flavor is off as well. Verts would be better served using the gyro meat found at DFW Mediterranean eateries. My two cents. If you ever find yourself in Berlin try Civans Imbiss in the Clayallee. Best Doner/Kebap in Berlin.

Never had Vertskebap before but in my opinion its like a Chipotle that serves kebaps instead of burritos. Nice, open restaurant and friendly staff. I had the Verts Original kebap hoping it would taste like the Dönerkebaps we used to have in Germany. It was aight but not the same. I was surprised to see Live Oak Hefe on tap! My wife and I were well fed but not entirely impressed.

Amazing tasting flavors. The chipotle of Greek food. Get a bowl of rice and lamb or meatballs cover that is many different vegetables and top it off with 1 of their 5 spicy toppings. You a get bowl of amazing fresh healthy food full of flavor. Plus it is the fast casual atmosphere that i love. No waitress no tip, no hassle. Quick healthy great food.

New: Theyve redesigned the place and it looks horribly. They are now playing music so loud that you cannot even order without shouting. Ill never go there again. Old: Great German style Turkish kebap. Very, very close to the original in northern Germany. They have all kinds of meats you can make a kebap with.

Ive heard that Verts isnt the most authentic kebap place out there, but I find their food, especially the falafel kebap, to be delicious. However, regardless of how good Verts food is, the service here is terrible. It takes ages to get your food and the staff is entirely apathetic. Did I mention its slow?

The food is usually great. I love the gyro rice bowl or the meatball rice bowl. Although when I go at lunchtime they seem caught off guard by the rush and you end having to wait for them to make more food or just wait because they dont seem to have enough people.

UPDATED REVIEW: still pretty good, but they seem to have less stuff to put on and definitely have fewer spice choices. Also, they charged a buck more than board price for my bowl, which I think was already more than last time.
