Hi, I am generally a fan of Thai food and so went to try out the food here for the first time. The food was indeed good and as expected. But a very funny incident happened with my wife and me here. We were charged $7 extra for the lunch we had. I walked up to the counter to discuss the extra charged where upon I was asked to wait by the cashier for the person who had taken my orders. Apparantly, my words had no value when compared to the person who had taken orders. I agreed to wait. Almost a minute later, I wanted to be sure if the Salad ( which was served to us without us ordering for it) was indeed free. If not, I wanted to point out that the extra money could have been charged for that Salad. I asked the lady at the counter and was very curtly reminded that I MUST wait until the person came to the counter. Minutes later, they realised that it was a fault on their part and they had indeed charged me $7.00 more for no reason. I was not happy with the way I was treated and so I decided against tipping to show my displeasure at their behavior. Just when I was done, the cashier demanded to know if I wanted to pay the tip in cash as I had left the Tip column blank. Wow, so now I was forced to pay for a shoddy service !! I scribbled a 1$ and walked out.

I cant put in words how much I love this place. Its tough to find good Thai food in general, but bkkcity def has delicious pad thai and tom yum soup (two of the most important Thai dishes to me). The waitresses are always very nice and attentive and answers any questions, and the food does not take long to arrive (thank goodness!). Everything is fairly priced and there is a lot of options on the menu. We tried a red curry dish one time, which was pretty good. We also tried a mixed vegetables dish that was a little lacking in flavor... But overall, quite a delicious restaurant!

Pad Thai was bland, but the Gang Dang curry was delicious, and was so super happy to find a Thai place that served black rice pudding with coconut milk...Until I found a 1/2 finger size, slightly transparent, silicone mass like solid mass in my pudding. Made me want to vomit. I am not sure how to add a picture otherwise I would post it. I did send the picture to Uber Eats for them to investigate further.

This was the 1st place I had Thai in Dallas after first experiencing Thai in Los Angeles. Its an older restaurant, but the food is very good, and the staff is courteous. They have a great Gluten Free Menu, and will make the food as hot as you like. Every time I go back, Im pleased by their food. My favorite is the Chicken Panang. Always a safe bet for an awesome meal.

I normally dont bother to write reviews, but WOW. I ordered gra prow duck, and it was AMAZING. The flavor and texture was just right. Sweet rice and mango was really good too!!! I cant wait to try other dishes from them! Finally, delivery was very fast! I am really satisfied with this restaurant!!!

My girlfriend and I wanted to find a new Thai spot so I Google and found this place. I am so surprised. The food is awesome. I recommend volcano chicken 2 stars unless you dare to do 4 stars. Great food,great ambience great service. Weve found our new favorite Thai spot.

Rude staff specially the guy who served me. The seafood delight for $13.99 was a rip off. it has carrot and celery in corn starch sauce, one or two small shrimps, a little scallop and plenty of imitation crab. What a joke! The coupon resumption was a big drama as well.

Waited 45 mins for my food with nobody in the restaurant besides my table. Waited so long I punched my friend in the face for taking me there. And why is there a salad mixed in my basil noodles?! I ordered a pizza and it got here before my papaya salad! DO NOT COME!!

I absolutely LOVE this place. I love Thai food and have tried several different places in the Dallas metroplex. Bangkok City has not only the best food, but the most affordable prices. They are nice, extremely fast and serve genuinely tasty Thai dishes.

Food was very disgusting and they had really bad customer service, I couldve sworn i saw a bugs coming out the food from another customers order and a RAT ran across, as soon as I saw that i left, NEVER GOING BACK and wouldnt recommend NO ONE to go!

Food was average. Ordered a chicken curry dish and lets just say it was all curry a minimal chicken. Girlfriend ordered the combo fried rice. Same issue. Just a few pieces of chicken and beef. Also a bit highly priced considering quality.

This is not authentic Thai food (yet) who knows maybe they will correct the problem. They put cherry tomatoes in the curry. And the pineapple didnt belong in there. I would have been okay with any pepper but a tomato? Also its not tasty.

Excellent lunchtime, delicious food, cool environment and quick, attentive staff. Dinner is even better than lunch. Ivery been eating here for years. Not one complaint. I eat there often! (Not expensive)

I LOVE the mussaman curry at this place! Its so rich and flavorful, but not overwhelmingly spicy. And the coconut milk soup is a great sour/savory combo. Get the thai iced tea with your meal! A+!

Food was really good, I enjoy my dinner with a glass of wine and ambience was pleasurable with soft music. Good for couples... Candles will be nice (its the wine speaking missing my wifey)

Food is good, but failed to deliver on spice. Ordered highest spice level on one dish and lowest on another. Lowest wasnt spicy, highest was barely medium.
