Went here with my son on a Friday Night. We LOVED the food, and the atmosphere. We had a wonderful elder waiter, who gave service way beyond what we usually experience in other El Fenix restaurants. It is my bet that all the food is as good as what we both experienced. When I want TexMex the next time, I wont even consider the other choices.

Serious problems at this location. 10 minutes to get seated because tables werent clear. 20 minutes after seated no one even acknowledged we were there. We walked out. After 30 years looks like this native Dallasite will need a new regular Mexican restaurant.

I believe this location should be 6811 W Northwest Hwy Dallas, TX not Garland - Google says it is locked by owner? I find it hard to believe he would intentionally send a customer to the wrong city in search of his business.

*This* El Fenix location has very low quality food. Walked out with stomach ache. Other locations that Ive been to such as Lewisville and McKinney are fabulous. Too many flies. Stay away from this one, though.
