I used to eat here 2-3 times a week. Now its once a month. The owner tried to make the place trendy and failed miserably. Not to mention shell nickle and dime the customers over anything. Heres a hint - if it aint broke, dont fix it. The atmosphere and food was great, and trying to make zuzus "upscale" and changing the food just didnt work. Thank god the salsa and chips, and also the quesadillas are still the same, but other food, like the burritos, doesnt have the same flavor anymore.

If I could give this a zero I would. Ordered 4 tacos of- chicken, barbacoa, steak, pork. Also ordered nachos. The chicken taco- had no flavor The steak taco- didnt even taste like steak The barbacoa taco- no flavor The pork taco- flavorless The nachos- were ok, not good. Not great, but not horrible. Rice and beans- was nowhere near Mexican rice. Lack of flavor! This place is advertise as Authentic Mexican Food, it is NOT anywhere near authentic. I will NOT eat here again.

I love love love ZuZus this one is good, but personally I prefer the one off Mockingbird, it still serves the potatoes, yumm. Me and my family have been Zuzus fans since the one in Plano shut down years ago. This is great food and I highly recommend the Gorditas they are wonderful. Last time I had the Chile Relleno special, seriously get it, you wont be disappointed. The salsa verde and Salsa Roja are Amaze-BALLS. Youre welcome!!!

This place is supposed to be one of those new fangled Taco joints like an upscale Taco stand, and it tastes good enough that Im ok with it. Their salsa is hand made and dang good. The resturant is comfortable and their margaritas are decent. I wont lie, its a bit expensive, expect 15$ for a premium meal with a Margarita, but its worth it!

I was shocked by the below review about the food at ZuZu! I am as picky as they come and eat there at least twice a week. They definitely make their food fresh, offer vegetarian friendly black bean soup that rocks - and the staff is wonderful! It is no wonder that the place is chock full of regulars!

In short great freshly cooked food with good value! Chicken fajitas plate was great proportion size (actual chicken breast) and came with non greasy Mexican rice and very good black beans and a dollop of tasty guacamole. A home style hot sauce would put this at a five. Will be back either way!

The only reason I gave this place 2 stars is for the service and red mild salsa the food was not good at all. I had beef enchiladas didnt think you can mess that up but the red sauce tasted like spaghetti sauce.(they should call my mom for her recipe !) Dont think I will be back.

Why would a Mexican restaurant charge you for a small cup of salsa on top of the $4 chips and queso and $11 shrimp fajitas youve already bought? Dont nickel and dime your customers. Ill give a better review if youll fix this before Im in town again in a few weeks. #facepalm

Really enjoyed the whole experience! Great food, small but delectable menu, affordable for any budget and great ambiance inside. They serve actual drinks, have real deal fajitas, a salsa bar with delicious options and the staff are great! Thank you, Zuzu!

Honestly, our familys favorite mexican food for years now. Mostly it is about the excellent salsas. When we are there we will sometimes buy some to take home, but you have to use it quickly because it is fresh made without preservatives.

Im not a huge fan of Mexican food, but this is great - fresh, real food/not fake, microwaved, or greasy. I leave feeling good, not sluggish! Im a new regular! Would highly recommend their steak tacos.

I love zuzus but the Abrams location is better. This one charges for chips and salsa too, which makes no sense! Its a mexican restaurant!
