Ordered at approximately 730 on a Friday night. I had to wait in the drive-through for a little bit but thats not a big deal being that its made fresh. I had decent hopes because places like these tend to make good products. My issue is I ordered regular onion rings and a burger with just lettuce and mustard. For some reason they put some type of mixture of salt, pepper and chili powder etc. all over the onion rings and a bit was on my burger. I could not even eat the onion rings due to gagging on the over used salt/pepper mix and ate half of the burger until I couldnt stand it any more. Its a shame to drowned out the taste of probably good products. Give the salt and pepper to the customer and let them decide. I was Hungry for a burger and onion rings, instead I got to eat a bowl is cereal!

The place was somewhat dirty. Looks like it hadnt been mopped in a couple days. The water dispenser had nasty spouts on it. So did the pop. A lady was trying to get the guys attention behind the counter and he never turned around. I had to yell excuse me to get his attention. None of the guys look professional. The guy behind the counter almost looked homeless. Not clean shaved or anything wearing a slightly wore out shirt. My chili cheese dog was ok. I looked like the dog was a lil old. The fries seemed to be the same. But the chili cheese fries were good. But would be much better with McDonalds or even Wendys or BK fries. So on a scale from 1 to 10 if me coming back to this particular location, maybe a 2 or 3, and thats kinda pushing it.

I cant believe anyone would give BH any rating less than 5 stars. Ive been enjoying every location for over 20 years.. Hillcrest, Mockingbird, even way up in Addison.. always consistently producing the finest seasoned burgers and fries. Cherry shakes are the best. Anyone who gripes about their seasoning must be a Dallas transplant and should stick to somewhere else. Theyre absolutely known for their cumin type seasoning, its what makes Burger House, Burger House and not some plain Jane burger spot. Jacks, Burger House, whatever you want to call it, always #1 in my book and for a high % of anyone who has the inside info on whats really to appreciate about Dallas. Order seasoning salt as gifts, youll never go wrong.

The burgers are the best in my area, but the young man I encountered on my last visit turned me off. After I put in my order, I was told to drive up. It was 10 minutes before I was greeted at the drive thru. During that time, I watched him with his feet propped up on the ice machine. When I advised him that it wasnt very sanitary to do that, he told me that his feet werent touching the ice. I explained that cross-contamination is a very real thing. At that point, I lost my appetite and left without my order. I hope I can find another location.

We came 5 minutes before they closed. The cheeseburger was on point. Seasoning was good, not too heavily dressed, and the bun had a nice toast to it. The fries were a little soggy, but thats to be expected when youre the last customer and you show up literally just before closing. We will definitely come back and try them again when we can get some hot fresh fries. Pricing wasnt the cheapest, but definitely not that expensive. If we have the same kind of experience a couple more times, well surely become regulars

Ive had it!!! I go to the Burger House once a month and for the last five months i have received bad food, over cooked! Cold!! But Tonight was the last straw!!! I go to the drive up, order two cheeseburgers and toe shakes. One strawberry and one Chocolate. Easy right!! I get back a cold Cheeseburger and one shake Chocolate and strawberry mixed!!!! I know I wont get a response so I will also contact the Dallas Morning News and anyone else who will listen!!! You may have started in 1951 but you lost it in 1952.

My husband and I stopped there since we have lived in the area for years and had never eaten there. Well our first visit did not go well. There was a issue with our order. I have to say that Chris made it right. He made sure that the customer is treated well. We went back and had a double cheeseburger, fries and onion rings. The food is delicious and the service it good. We will certainly go back and we know that they treat there customers right.

I really dont get what people like about this place. Tried it once that was enough for me. The Burger was crazy the fries were nothing special and the drinks were expensive. It seemed really overpriced and it really wasnt a very quality place. I just did the drive thru mind you so I cant speak for the inside. But I wont be trying the inside Im not coming back. Theres too many other great burger places in this area.

I was looking for a hole in the wall burger. something different from all of the fast food burgers. This place fit the bill. The food was hot and fresh. I recommend the double double. The fry seasoning is good, but its not out of this world. Its a mix of pepper and a few other spices. The restaurant itself is reasonably clean and eating inside wont turn your stomach. Overall, 4 stars.

Delicious food, but really bad service. I understand the wait because the food is made fresh, but its just rude not to acknowledge a customer when they drive to the window. At least greet the customer instead of acting as if they arent there for the 10 minutes it takes to make the burger. A simple, "Hello, your food will be right out," would make the experience so much better!

I personally have never had an issue with the food or service, after coming in at least five times now. The only thing I advise is that if youre not fond of fries with quite a bit of seasoning Id say ask about going light on that. Other than that great burgers, and fries made fresh!

My favorite place to eat, fresh, tasty, fast. Plus staff is really friendly and not only the staff but the people that go there tend to be really nice people who often hold the door for you. Perfect for anyone looking for delicious food and friendly atmosphere :)

They seem to have received award about fried long time ago. I tried fries and those were a bit salty, but tasty at the same time. Burger was also filled with veggie and patty. Be careful if your child is trying, patty, veggies might fall off of buns.

Way too expensive for such a poor Burger. No flavor unless you like a bunch of salt and pepper for seasoning. Reminds me of the commercial wheres the beef. Im guessing a lot of people that rated this high has never had a good burger in their lifetime

Comparing these fries to McDonalds is basically blasphemy. Burgers are nothing special but are delicious anyway, I always get a double with bacon and grilled onions and have never been let down. Not best in the city but its upper tier.
